I was honestly a little scared to play Baxter’s route because I’d seen some spoilers — and most of them were focused on the first half of the DLC. But I’m so glad I went through with it, because none of those spoilers ruined the experience for me at all!
Everything that happened between the MC and Baxter made the ending feel even more incredible. The endgame and what they both gained from it? Absolutely amazing and 100% worth it. After the event part, I genuinely felt spoiled in the best way possible.
I actually thought I wouldn’t feel the urge to replay the game, but nope — the second I finished it, I wanted to dive back in! Baxter is such a beautifully written character (they all are!), and I can’t emphasize enough how rewarding it feels to be with them.
I've only played through the DLC once in full, but oh boy. It's amazing. The writing is really well done!!! Angst is peak and I love how it still ends happily. I'm for sure replaying this many more times because there are scenes I know I missed. I love how human Baxter became over time, even though he thought that meant he was showing weakness.
Dude you have absolutely no idea with the amount of emotion I went through as I played this game, like genuinely. I've went and just recently gotten the other's DLCs myself, but I absolutely couldn't wait to play baxter's lmao, so much so that I even barely touched the other DLCs.
This man, this character, the details, this whole story was absolutely fantastic, you have no idea how much it blew my mind, I almost immediately fell in love with the man as he appeared in for Step 3. The craft of this story was absolutely accelerating, words quite literally can't describe how much I enjoyed this.
