meet jamari (formerly kojo/osei if any1 remembers.) he’s trans!! he came out the day before high school started so he’s still friends with vianca (theyre nwlnw & nmlnm solidarity trust) 🙏🙏 hes also bffs with tammy + serenity (he LOVES serenity bro that’s his little sister fr) and like… technically his status with qiu is neighbours, but also they have a crush on each other 😛😛😛 (game wise i played the crushes route bcs i like to think that jamari is all like ‘i hate you i dont like you (loud incorrect buzzer) leave me alone’ and qiu’s just a bold, jealous but lowk pathetic puppy that wants that cookie i fear)

he’s also a bit megumi fushiguro coded as in he keeps to himself most of the time, not very social, gets into fights a lot, has a love/hate relationship with his mom, and is also very much autistic.

uhhh furthermore he’s also a ‘canon divergence’ mc (he has an older brother who’s dating baxter (hence why he’s still on good terms with baxter) and a stepdad + two stepbrothers who are twins) yeah idk what more to say… he’s like 6’1.5 in step 2 and quite muscular bcs he’s on the school’s volleyball team, track & field (maybe i forgot) and does boxing outside of school! he can also play the electric guitar.

blythe is a 7w6 enfp, jaehwa a 5w4 intj, lucille (blonde one if anyone remembers) a 7w8 estp, ivory (redhead if anyone remembers) a 1w2 intp. also big yap coming

(easy explanation: mbti is a 4-letter questionnaire that sorts people into 16 personality types! e.g. entj, isfp, estp, infj)

Th first is where you focus your attention – Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I), The second is the way you take in information – Sensing (S) or INtuition (N), The third is how you make decisions – Thinking (T) or Feeling (F), and the last is how you deal with the world – Judging (J) or Perceiving (P)

(enneagram sorts people into 9 types based on their core motivations, desires and fears. your enneagram wings are the two Enneagram types directly adjacent to your core type. e.g, Type 3w2 vs 3w4, Type 9w8 vs 9w1)

I was so inspired by that emotional moment from the Step 1 Hide and Seek event that I had to draw my own version! 😘

I imagined and drew Step 3 Qiu and my MC, Rosasharon, in that exact moment. I loved drawing my two favorites looking so cozy together! (I used a Chilgok Ani-Force template for the pose reference!)

Fun fact about myself, i freaking love the hyperactive, loveable dog personality x the grumpy/aloof cat personality dynamic archetype. Imagine my surprise when i was reading Baxter wiki page that apparently if he were to be an animal, he would be a cat! After learning that fact, of course i had to draw Izzy and Baxter with cute animal ears and tails<3!

I already imagined them to have the cat x dog personality dynamic, so the fact that Baxter as a cat is canon made me so happy lol.

As a dog, Izzy would be a black and tan pomeranian dog while as a cat, i head canon that Baxter would probably be a black and white tuxedo cat.

I also learned  from the wiki that in an alternate universe, Baxter would be a vampire. Which means that the Halloween art that I made last year of Izzy dressing up as a witch and Baxter as a vampire is sorta canon now. Apparently, all of these info came from the GBPatch Patreon QnA which were then put into the wiki. Keep in mind that I didn't subscribe to the Patreon because my country exchange rate to the usd sucks which means i didn't have access to these information and i was literally shooting in the dark with my head canon before the wiki updated last December and this January. The fact that I was right two for two with my head canon that is now actually canon really blows my mind.

Hello-hello! I first wanted to really thank the developers for making this game. It's the only one I diligently check for updates and the first one I actually drawn my mc for (and also shared it)! So, without further ado here is my little Step 2 OC:

I literally only live for Baxter content bro AUGHHH. I hope we're able to interact with him more or even have a DLC for him. and/or  Ren or the boys club as well. That'd be epic.  (but honestly Our Life games are so good. Hands down best two visual novels out there.)

I love this game so much it inspired me to pick drawing back up after years without doing so. I hope I get comfortable enough soon to draw  Qiu and Tamarack too 😭

I HAVE NEVER TRIED TO DRAW BEFORE THIS GAME. THIS GAME HAS MOTIVATED ME TO TRY AND DRAW MY MC AND THATS MAINLY BECAUSE OF THIS LOVELY COMMUNITY.
