Is Quetzalli Rosen.
Quetzalli is a very sweet girl. She's quite energetic, loves to explore, and mischievous too. However, she really likes the sea (like Milo), and wishes to be a captain of a ship. The only downside is that she's watched so much shows to the point where if you asked her to do something, she'd say "Aye, captain!" and salute with a goofy grin before running off. She is also very knowledgeable on ships and how to build all kinds, and she does introduce herself first when she feels someone is scared or nervous.
n Step 1, she is excited to move because to her, it means more exploration. So, when the paper airplane hits her, she immediately tries to track it down. She meets Qiu first, and hits it off with him just fine, laughing and teasing him too. She then meets Tamarack, who together, should not be left unsupervised.
Like Tamarack in Step 2, Quetzalli loses her more mischievous side and becomes more calm. However, her teasing side only amps up, and soon she's the one messing with Qiu and Tamarack (not in a bad way). She's still energetic though, and often salutes and calls people captain. But she is a wonderful listener and will offer a ear and advice if her friends or anyone needs it. She is very much a mom friend and will look after people, which is bad. Why? Well, she often prioritizes other people. A bit too much. Which leads to her feeling selfish and guilty if she takes time for herself, telling herself she needs to help others. And sometimes stops her from eating.
In Step 3, she remains the same, often making jokes and still somehow energetic. She's learned to prioritize herself as well, and no longer puts others in front of her as much as before. And yes, she still does the playful salute and captain habit. She hasn't let it go, just like her knowledge on how a ship works.
Anyways I hope you like her, I promise this is the last mc this week. She's also very fidgety and can't hold eye contact for long. She does manage to make slow progress over time, and if it looks like she's not listening, she is. She does this little thing where she'll hold your sleeve, hand, or put her face in her hands like shown above, and nod. If she's not listening, she will stare off into space and look mad. These are some of my habits I gave to her, so she has them.
Id let her ride a ship any day (ignoring the fact she lacks a license 💔)

Thanks! I usually take bits from different characters from shows I used to watch. Her love for ships actually come from me, and You Watanabe from Love Live! Sunshine. But I'm struggling with Milo and Bjørn's lore, so it's mostly going to be just Metztli, Xipil, and Quetzalli.
So I would suggest maybe taking some parts of characters, then using it as a frame for how you want your mc to be like. Obviously don't copy the personality, but taking some struggles or characteristics and adding to them or revising them helps. Like with Metztli. Metztli has the same perfection issue as Amity, but instead of it being ingrained, it's a direct result of how teachers can impact kids. Her teacher was a major jerk and often humiliated her everytime she asked a question or had trouble. So she begun to associate not knowing with being made fun of and hated, which then in turn begun to make her a perfectionist. If she's perfect, no one will make fun of her. No one will hate her if she's perfect. That's her mentality. She's not upholding a family name, she's preventing herself from being hurt.
Sorry for the yapping, I hope it helps break down how I make them, obviously I don't copy paste the characters, I just insert little references from characters that had a huge impact on me. And thank you for liking her!

Answer 1: She doesn’t wear nail polish, she barely even sees the need to take of her hair.
Answer 2: she has heterocromia, her left eye is brown and her right eye is cranberry like her hair. (I mean right and left from her perspective.) Her eyes also almost always have bags under them from a lack of sleep and they have an uninterested glare in most situations.
Answer 3: she’s very tired most mornings, progressively getting more grumpy after each night without sleep. But she’s actually very pleasant after nights when she gets some sleep.

This game is good and all, but i want to say some thinga and wonder if you could fix it if possible. First. I would like to address some problems. Sometimes. While playing or something at customizing stuff. The screen just randomly freezes and i can't do anything. Im a android user and i don't know if it usually happens to android users or not but its kind of annoying because i have to redo everything and didn't save it yet
Next problem. Its the fact that i can't change my name. Or put a nickname. Ive tried. But it didn't allow me. Sometimes. The name just switches to every other thing i press to. For example i want to put in xinyi as my nickname. I can't like press the button where you usual put the keyboard down or out of the screen because it keeps popping back up into the screen again and if i press like first name. The xinyi will go on the first name alongside with frank. Which is weird. And like i can't do anything to change the name. So if i want to play the game. I would have to use the name that has been already put. Which is alright but not really to my liking.
Third. Theres just something that disturbs me for one of the back hair. It looks weird. The thing ontop makes it look weird ya know? So i was hoping if its alright if you could change the design abit but it would be fine if you didn't since i just want the 2 problems i were talking about to be fixed. thats all. For the second issue with the names, are you saying your entries are not appearing in the text box? Or are they changing after you try to type them in?
For the third with the hair, that hair is just under the "Hair Back" section, meaning it isn't meant to be seen as a hair style all by itself. It looks better when combined with a "Hair Front" option higher on that list.

So earlier, someone mentioned Amity on Metztli's lore (I already know who, thank you for planting this idea). So as I normally do, I'm haunted by the thought, and then I stop everything to work on it. So, I've done it again. Except this time, a special guest. Okay, I've made some changes to Sin's hair as the color settings on my monitor got messed up so their hair was the wrong colors. I also added some features to their hair that earned their second nickname "Stardust". Oh and I've given them a little introduction as well. (Character info below)

Sin is a kind and caring friend, they’re always taking care of others earning them the title of the mom friend. Although this means they don't take care of themself as much as they should. Sin is also a very confident and athletic, they’re highly skilled a soccer. This can lead them to be a bit of a tomboy at times. While they are very patient with people, make them mad a you will face the wrath of a thousand suns. Sin hates seeing people, especially friends being bullied or hurt. Their father who they have never met until during their life in Golden Grove, is from a noble family in Scotland and holds the title of Duke. Sin is also very good at chemistry and is fascinated by the idea of magic potions, making strange concoctions from ingredients lying around the house and making their mom try them. Their hair also has a strange natural glitter to it. Oh and how could I forget their obsession with muffins, you will never find them without one on their person or close by.
Oh yeah, she meets him shortly after moving to Golden Grove. I think I'm gonna have it happen during either the walks or wheels event where he just kinda, shows up out of the blue.

I've been wanting to ask this question for a while now but I didn't bc I wanted to make a character sheet for my characters first but honestly It would probably take a while for me to do it since I have a lot of other projects to do. But the curiousity is literally torturing me so i'll be asking the question now!
What would your MC’s(and non-MC too if you want!) dynamic be with my MCs? It could be anything! Indiferent, hate, friends, and even crush!
Sin would get along with them fairly well I think. She’s would probably go to Sylvan for make up tips and such. Tanlin would probably not trust sin because she’s “too nice” and so they’d probably stay neutral for a while.
Bacon would just be Bacon and try to befriend both of them. I’m dead tired so I can’t recall everything about your Sylvan but I think he’d succeed. I think he could also befriend Tanlin probably by saying something actually smart like, “You know the best part about having friends is that no matter how many you lose, you can always make more” and then immediately say something incredibly stupid.
Kathryne would probably be annoyed by Sylvan even though she usually has a weakness for pretty girls, because I feel like Sylvan would be constantly trying to fix KitKat’s wild hair and she’s not a fan of physical touch. But other than that, after a while, she might warm up. Honestly she could also probably befriend Tanlin simply because she’s VERY blunt and just speaks her mind. I feel like Tanlin would be drawn to that kind of honesty, even if it’s a little rude sometimes.

Oh I didnt know Sin would be the type to do that. Sylvan would be more than happy to give out makeup tips and stuff! She actually likes to play dress up with her friends from time to time(with their consent ofc) so Sylvan is overjoyed to know that Sin would seek out advice to her! That is actually pretty accurate for TanTan to not trust Sin. TanTan is always on her guard so Sin being too nice might seem fake to her due to her trust issues.
I don't really put a lot of info about Sylvan when I post about her so that's fine! Bacon would def succeed on befriending Sylvan, she's usually can get along well with just anyone. Honestly, I think TanTan would be drawn towards Bacon, so she would probably find it easier to be friendlier towards him. She would probably find him quite funny when he says dumb things
Sylvan would def try to fix KitKat's hair bc she wouldn't be able to stand how it looks but she would stop once she realized that she was causing KitKat discomfort. TanTan does like honest people actually but she would probably feel a bit insecure when KitKat says something a bit rude bc shes a bit sensitive towards that stuff. Although TanTan would probably realized that she didn't actually had any intention to make her feel bad or anything.
Hiro’s the kind of person who keeps to himself, not because he doesn’t care, but because he’s been hurt so many times that it just feels safer that way. He doesn’t show a lot of emotions on his face(but you can always tell what he's feeling though), and people used to treat him like there was something wrong with him because of it. So in step 2 he started wearing a mask(not to be mysterious or cool, but just to hide, to protect himself)
But deep down, he feels things really strongly. He just doesn’t always know how to say it. Around people he trusts he softens up a lot. He’s still quiet, still not super expressive, but you can tell he cares. He’s loyal, thoughtful, and even though the world’s been rough on him, he hasn’t shut everyone out. He’s got this quiet kind of strength, like he’s been through a lot, but he’s still standing and still trying.
- With Hiro: He’d treat him like he does Damian! They find him pretty similar so Runie would feel comfortable with him right away. He knows Hiro isnt the same as Damian so of course he’ll get to know Hiro as a person as well. I think for the two theyd have a very stable friendship! It could also probably be the yapper and listener because Runie loves talking to people once hes close to them. (Hiro is also now added to the list of people that Runie would make crocheted gifts for and the Runie shield)
- With Sylvan: Oh gosh the very cutest puppy crush on her. He actually mistakes his “romantic” feelings for her for admiration, because he absolutely loves her fashion sense (cough cos he doesnt have any cough) and tries to like, subtly try and replicate Sylvan’s fits with his own style. Once he gathers the actual balls to talk to her he’d find her so cool and he’d be kicking his feet like a teen girl cause he finally befriended his squish! (Also now added to the list of ppl that are protected by the Runie shield)
- With TanTan: I love the meet cute trope, especially if its super dorky. I think Tanlin would, at first, feel slight annoyed and terrified of Runie when they first met. While Runie is just shielding her from a soccer ball that was about to her TwT
Overtime theyd actually start bumping into each other frequently making them more closer and getting to know each other more. With Runie finding out the reason why shes guarded and how her past friends betrayed her (insert Runie looking livid and TanTan giving him a sweet dessert to calm him down)

- With TanTan: This is gonna sound so bad but Kanra would actually try and make her tic because shes never seen someone being betrayed by their friends before and starts to ask like, unintentionally mean questions. I think Tantan will actively start to distance herself from Kanra because of that. Kanra doesnt know why Tantan would be mad when its the truth, but soon realises that her actions DOES have consequences, she hurt someone. (I’d like to thank Bacon and TanTan for making her reflect on herself and try to improve)
I see their relationship dynamic to be similar to Keith and Allura from Voltron!! (Well slightly similar, i just dont have any other duos to compare them too cries)

I honestly never thought of Runie's and Hiro dynamics before but i think you got it pretty spot on! Hiro would find Runie to be pretty refreshing to be around since he wouldn't feel pressured to talk much around them. I never mentioned this before but Hiro actually found a hobby in step 3, it's jewelry making(If you take a look at Hiro's step 3 design you can see that he turned his hair tie beads into earings!) since Hiro is the type that when someone gifts him something he will always give something back in return. So since Runie would make crocheted gifts for him Hiro would make something back for Runie. Im not sure if Runie is the type to wear jewelry but I feel like they would still keep the gift for safe keeping

Blythe is pretty neutral towards Hiro, she thinks he looks like a cookie (and muffin) so she finds him to be cute and one of her favorites lmao. And just like with Fio (another one of Blythe's favorite people), Blythe either ACTUALLY ISNT ACTING LIKE TIME-TICKING BOMB (RARE) or just a straight-up menace to society 😞😞 (But I'm sure that Blythe thinks Hiro isnt the type of person to like that type of stuff so only the 1st one hehe)

THAT. no idea how they'd meet though it has to be a super coincidence or else no way those two are interacting with eachother 😞
Jude with Sylvan: i gotta say Jude has no fashion sense (untill step 3 at least) but he'd ADORE Sylvans style, i dont think he'd make any move to talk or be friends with her but he'd look for her first thing everyday at school to see what that stylish kid wore today, like a small routine that really cheers him up. he would try to be swift with it but im not sure if Sylvan would still notice or not. they also have a good friendship potential though just not for step one?? 🤔
Jude with Tanlin: im sad to say i dont think they'd interact and wouldn't be friends even if they do ☹️ even though they're both a little distant and silent at first Jude reads a lot into peoples actions and he'd mistake Tantans distant and untrusting approach as dislike, so he'd stay away from her since he thinks he annoys her. no idea for other steps though it can change!!

Tanlin with Jude: tbh I agree that they wouldnt interact at all in step 2 BUT there is a possibility that they could be friends during step 1!(but it has to be before the incident) Ive said that TanTan was lively and talkative as a kid so maybe they could become friends from how outgoing she is. Although after the incident she might seem a bit more quiet but shes very loyal to her friends so for the ones who stayed around she will not close herself off to them. If TanTan and Jude have met like this I think they would have a pretty stable friendship!
Tanlin with Fio: Honestly TanTan would probably consider to be friends with Fio bc she thinks that Fio is really cool, but she would make no move to ever talk to Fio at all. I think they would be acquaintances until one of them actually make a move to turn it into friendship (which is not going to be TanTan 😓) also TanTan would probably give a look to Fio if she drove off someone who TanTan kinda likes, like she'll be like 😟 but honestly she probably wont think too much abt it since she doesn’t want a lot of friends anyway bc she personally think that she doesn’t have enough social battery to keep up with it all

Step 1:- Ceres Forrest - 10 y.o., She/Her
Ceres would like to believe that she's a good person. She's always polite, if a little different. She tries to be helpful, she tries to be nice to people, and she's played mediator for most all her life. But right now, she felt like she had earned it to be selfishly resentful.
She was finally settled, back in her old place, finally doing something. And now all of that was ruined; nothing would be the same. She can't even look at her skates without a sick feeling twisting in her stomach. She could hear her voice scolding them for their cowardice (because that's what it was, wasn't it? Ceres was scared). But it didn't matter, she was gone now.
So Ceres steels herself and throws herself headfirst into new things. She meets the (admittedly charming) neighbour kids, she works harder than she ever has in school, she's the model little princess. All while avoiding looking at the framed ballerina on the mantle, a reminder of the life she'd loved and lost.
But none of it hits the same, and Ceres doesn't understand why. She's been smiling more than ever; why does it feel fake? Every laugh feels like a lie, every touch like a crushing weight, even her own name sounds sour to her ears when it's called.
Ceres is hollow, wrong, not at all like the warmth that radiates throughout the other children of Golden Grove. But...She does like her neighbours.
Khione is here, and for weeks after, Ceres is the happiest they've ever been.
The girl of their memories, practically a woman now, with the way she acts. She was a hurricane, impossible not to get swept up in. It happened before, and it's happening all over again. Ceres skates for the first time in months, and she is elated. They hoped for the Olympics, once upon a time; it seemed like Khione's aspirations hadn't changed.
So Ceres dons their glittery leotard (ignoring the way it feels slimy on their skin) and plays the role of ice, of moon, of winter. They don't talk to Qiu or Tamarack or Ren so much, but sacrifices must be made. Khione has been hard at work all this time, Ceres has been hiding from the ice; they need to catch up. She performs jumps and spins and lifts, and it's like a catharsis.

Khione is hard to please, endlessly so. Ceres doesn't mind, has never minded. She'd bend over backwards to keep her friend. But have Khione's walls always been so high? Her heart seems to be fortified by ice these days. Though that's perhaps ironic coming from Ceres. The memory of the fiery girl she once knew is melting between Ceres' clenched fists like snow.
There are always fragments of truth woven into the most believable of masks. This new Khione, strange and cruel and cold, is terrifyingly convincing.
Khione dyes her hair white, Ceres cuts theirs short. Khione starts to care too much, Ceres cares too little. Khione is the perfect girl, Ceres doesn't think they even are a girl anymore.
Ceres doesn't sleep, they don't eat, they sacrifice *everything* for their and Khione's dream. They call it prioritising, Qiu and Tamarack call it repression.
Step 2:- Cerrus Forrest:- 14 y.o., They/Ve
Cerrus is a high schooler by now. It doesn't change anything. Their little trio of neighbours draws even further away from each other, though they still wear their friendship bracelets.
Cerrus gets medicated, and they're doing better.
Cerrus is a filthy liar, they're doing worse than ever before. They're also flexible, as someone like them must be. They've learned not to break when they bend. But ve can only take so much of Khione. Ve yells, and Khione does her fair share too, harsh truths spat between them like daggers, intending to kill. Despite their unassuming nature, Cerrus is just as stubborn as Khione.
But time marches on, indifferent to the squabbles of hurting and broken children. Khione, just as familiar with duplicity as Cerrus, signs them up for a competitive figure skating competition for children their age.
They play the perfect duo, despite everything, hiding behind their respective fickle facades. Vir hair is meticulously styled, and so nobody can see the jagged haircut ve had given virself. Their clothes are sleek and elegant, and so nobody looks close enough to see how they hang off vir frame. They flash a smile, and it lets people pretend they aren't baring their teeth.
They win, and yet Cerrus still feels hollow. Why? Why do they still feel empty? Wining was supposed to fix anything, but nothing has changed. Has Cerrus been lying to themselves the whole time? They've always been a liar, whycan'ttheystopLYING?!-

Okay, it's yap session time. Feel free to skip the yaps, it's a long one since I already had an idea of how she'd be. Hope you enjoy!
May I present my new mc... Metztli Caballero! And she does have the symbol of the Aztec goddess as her tattoo in Step Three since her name is the same as the Aztec goddess of the moon, Metztli. Still experimenting with the art.
Step 1:
Metztli is a very polite and well mannered girl. A bit too much to the point where she forgets to speak normally. She's very confident and can speak her mind, and she will often do so. She enjoys making her own things, such as jewelry and her in progress sewing lessons. However, she's a perfectionist. Anyways, she didn't mind the move to Golden Grove. She was focused on doing good in school, so she didn't care to make friends. However, she does meet Qiu first. And immediately, she does not like him. Why? She's used to being nearly perfect and well mannered. Opal has no idea why, considering Metztli has just decided she'd be like that. So, upon meeting someone the opposite of her, it stirs up complex feelings. She's even more confused when he deny losing his paper and gets genuinely mad at him. So she's already off to a bad start here, and she swears she would never like him. Too bad she falls for him (literally) to help him win a race (she jumped off the bike).
Step 2:
As She's grown older, her want to be the best begins to overtake her. Her friendship with Tamarack and Qiu remains the same on good terms. However, she's also become more mean when it's come to people she doesn't like. Particularly, bullies and jerks. Her sense of justice is very questionable considering she has dumped water on bullies and insulted them harshly after they talk ill of her friends. To be honest, that's as far as she goes before she ultimately chooses to ignore them. But she doesn't do it often, so normally she's very polite, and friendly, and will not be mean to innocent people. And she does really care about her friends, often reassuring them that they're doing just fine and that's she proud of them. She is insecure though, as she believes she isn't special, so her dresses and jewelry make her feel special. If they are ever destroyed, she will cry. However, to one very special neighbor, she is special to them. She just hasn't realized that there is one person who doesn't care if she's perfect or not.
Step 3:
She's now more confident in her skills. After years, she's realized that even is shes not perfect, she's still loved, and she doesn't need to prove herself for it. And now, she wears her dresses even when it's cold outside. The cold doesn't bother her considering she always has a warm coat on hand, and she mostly only wears it outdoors. She is still mean, however, expect she only really says things to tourists who are mean or rude for no reason. And yes, she is very embarrassed that she said she would never fall for Qiu, and she still ended up falling for them in the end (She does like him. It's very easy to tell). If brought up, she will yell shut up and start dramatically walking away with a bright red blush on her face.
She's not mean to Qiu. Just to clarify, she doesn't deny liking them, nor does she ever show "love" by being straight up rude. She's only embarrassed because she had a superiority complex where she thought she was better because she was perfect, and thought he wasn't at the time, and as such believed she would never love him as more than a friend. She does genuinely appreciate them, and she's happy she likes him. She's not a tsundere. She's meant to have a problem where she believed all love she receives has to be earned through perfection and hard work. At ten, she never talked to someone so carefree as Qiu, so it threw her off. Hence why she dislikes him at first. He was everything she wasn't (until the Step 1 wheels moment where she jumps off his bike to help him win), and she didn't know how to process it.
I looked closer to her step 3 design and.. SHE HAS CRESCENT MOON EARRINGS ⁉️⁉️ THE DETAIL OMG. and i said it once and ill say it again... I'M METZTLI'S HAIR'S NUMBER 1 FAN ‼️‼️‼️

I'm glad you like her design! I tried to input more aztec pieces in, but I haven't finished her full body drawing yet. I'm sorry if it hit too close to home, but I'm really glad you're not in the mindset anymore. I wrote her as like a slight example about how adults can influence kids, and her fourth grade teacher made fun of her for not understanding things, so eventually she believed she needed to be perfect to avoid it from happening again.

At first, Tanlin didn't notice the change. A slightly longer pause before a greeting. A look that lingered too long, unreadable. Then came the silence.. the kind that fills rooms even when they’re full of people. She wasn’t sure what hurt more; the rumor itself or how quickly those who she call "friends" believed it.
Someone popular had said she was fake, manipulative even. That she only hung around other people to feel superior. That she lied. It wasn’t true, not any of it. But the person who said it smiled in all the right ways and had enough followers to make anything sound believable. Why did they do it? Tanlin doesn't even know. Maybe it was out of jealousy? Maybe they just did it for fun? Either way, the truth didn’t change, even when people believed the lie
What stung wasn’t the rumor itself. It was how her "friends" didn’t even ask. No questions. No “Hey, did you hear what’s going around?” or “You okay?” Just distance. Like she had become contagious or something.
She would sit at lunch and feel their eyes flicker to her, then away, like looking too long might make them guilty by association. Conversations she used to be part of now happened without her, even when she was right there. Messages went unanswered. Plans were made without her name even coming up.
And she kept wondering; "Was I really that easy to leave behind?"
She thought friendships meant loyalty. She thought they knew her better than that. But all it took was a few words from someone shinier, someone with more influence... Well at least she wasn't completely alone. She's lucky enough to have some friends who didn't believe baseless rumors. But still, it hurts.

OKAY TIME FOR SOME EXTRA INFO THAT DIDN'T FIT INTO THE PIC! Its not really noticeably in the drawing but she has fang-like teeth! Tanlin's eyes sparkles and she blushes when shes happy and the face she makes when someone shes unfamiliar with is talking to her could be mistaken as discomfort but in reality shes just awkwardly trying to think of something to say in her head (you can tell if she feels uncomfy or not by her blushing, if she is then that means she's happy youre talking to her!). Due to the incident in her backstory, she has trust issues like, if someone were to befriend her she would probably be very distant at first as she doesn't want to get attached to the wrong people. Also Ik I put 'touching' in her dislikes but she doesn't actually hate physical contact itself, she would just hate how embarrassed she gets whenever someone initiate it. Tanlin also really love arts and crafts so she makes gifts like keychains or a drawing for her friends whenever she feels like it. I FORGOT TO MENTION she has like stubby small eyebrows? Like the ones you usually sees on chibis. I thought giving her unnatural eyebrows like Cove from OL1 would be pretty nice :) oh and the red dots on her face are acne. AND ONE LAST THING! Her body is a bit more on the chubbier side! The fluffiness of her hair kinda made her body look skinnier 🥲

Kanra Fujimori has low-moderate Psychopathic tendencies. Her only first and genuine connection is with Opal, and even that took some time for Kanra to get used to.
In Step 1 she is not able to feel empathy or feel a connection to other people. Even for Qiu and Tamarack. She finds them to be quite interesting though and thats enough for her to make her stay.
Kanra also has tendencies to be quite manipulative, gauging peoples reactions to entertain her or to conduct a study. Thats why her classmates (except for Qiu and Tamarack) are scared of her.
She knows she isnt what the other kids are, and she knows that she isnt quite like them. Kanra shrugs it off and embraces the hollowness like an old friend anyways.
(She will get character development for the other steps. But I dont think I can give her a love interest because I dont think any of them will be her type TwT)
KitKat would be very frustrated by her but also have a huge crush. She likes pretty girls but she also likes people who are broken the most.
Bacon would get along with her pretty well. At least in step 1, he doesn’t have the brains to really know when someone insults him unless they are VERY direct about it. I feel like his stupid, goofy personality could make her smile.
Sin would not get along with her. She doesn’t like it when people are mean to her or her friends, even if it’s not intentional. Also when she gets angry, she basically turns into Chi Chi from DBZ, so I feel like Kanra would learn not to mess with her very fast.

For Bacon, I think Kanra would subconsciously develop a sort of attachment to him. She wont actually realise it in Step 1, but maybe in Step 2-3 when theyd probably grow apart and Kanra would have to seriously self reflect because why did she feel disappointed when Bacon stopped being around her anymore? (CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT BABYYYY🔥🔥)
Funnily enough, I think that would make Kanra be annoying to her even more. She loves making people pissed off. I think she’d tease her to the point she’d have to run away as shes being chased. She loves the thrill unfortunately (its also her way of being friendly LOL)
Nah I think Bacon would just have to have a serious talk with her and everything would be fine. He tends to give people the benefit of the doubt so he'd probably realize that's just her way of showing she cares
Also yeah. KitKat finds normal people to be kinda offputting. She's grown up around weird and broken people her whole life, Bacon being case and point, so someone who doesn't have something wrong with them freaks her out.
If Kitkat was subtle with her crush I think Kanra would just mistake her for finding her weird 😭 like she doesnt get the emotional weight of love or the nuance of it so shed just think:
“Shes staring at me.. Maybe she thinks im weird. She’s making it so obvious.”

He mainly develops this side of him between step 1 and 2 and onwards but there are hints of it in his childhood. idk if u remember but when made that butcher kojo concept drawing for an au in my head i kind of wanted to explore kojo’s more morally ‘wrong’ side 💔💔💔

for yuming i would say she might develop a little crush on her while also finding her an interesting character. she wouldn’t necessarily think she’s weird, but rather wants to know what makes her tick. Maybe yuming would look a little shocked when kanra might say something crazy but overall i think she’d be fine with her.

For their first impressions I believe Kanra would find him boring at first, she doesnt have the will to get to know him. UNTIL!! Kanra wants to do something (maybe conduct a study on something Kojo coincidentally likes?) and she wants to make a beneficially useful relationship with him. And then they become that very off-putting duo at school who are surprisingly chill with eachother.
For Yuming! Kanra would also not get out of her way to get to know her (she only makes relationships that help her with something or if its built on mutual respect) but she likes saying off-putting things around Yuming to see her reactions every once in a while. She finds it endearing and thinks its funny 😭
I honestly think Angeli would get along with Kanra pretty easily, especially since they share some similar traits. They’d have no trouble sitting in comfortable silence together. On a different note, I have another MC that I haven’t shared or talked about yet, but I’m really excited to reveal her once I finish drawing her. She’s also a psychopath, similar to Kanra. (°▽°)

You’re right, psychopathy isn’t a formal diagnosis, just a trait spectrum. I think my MC leans more toward psychopathic traits, depending on how you interpret her behavior. She’s described as, cold and manipulative but emotionally detached.
I have 2 MCS who (1) looks VERY SIMILAR to kanra and (2) has a similar personality to kanra's. so blythe would totally mistake kanra for those two mcs and when she realises that it's not them, blythe is ABSOLUTELY gonna freak out. I feel like Blythe would be totally scared of Kanra but likes her (A LITTLE BIT) because she looks like my other mc lol.

He’s scene enough k-drama’s and watched enough YouTube shorts to see the signs, he gives her glares, he doenst go near her beneath the disguise of ‘she’s not good enough’ but secretly he tries to keep people away from her. He carefully watched her not of interest but of disgust, he doesn’t want her to taint his record
Maeve step one would be TERRIFIED she’d flinch if Kanra even looked at her, she’d stay far, FAR away from her, she understands being blunt but the dull look in her eyes creeps her out. She’d believe Kanra is possessed or smth and makes up stories in her head about it
Remedy step one would have a massive crush on her, I think Kanra would find Remedy interesting, based on her upbringing, talents, bluntness, reactions to certain things and the peculiar things that make her tic, etc. Remedy is unused to this attention since her class is afraid of her mostly because of her height, upbringing and fame, labeled the Prodigy child, and she feels as if they bond quickly. Because of her isolated upbringing she has no knowledge of interactions properly and doesn’t spot the signs of manipulation, and because of that, and the fact that she’s a people pleaser, she follows Kanra around waiting for approval or just a notion that she exists and lets her get away with anything she does to her. Idk tho how does Kanra find ppl interesting?? Also Remedy has a habit of befriending everyone once you look past her exterior so yeah ｡^‿^｡

for Jude I THINK SHE'D FRUSTRATE HIM ON A DAILY BASIS though he's really closed of in step one he gets real funny when he's mad, like he'd stay silent untill he gets red like a tomato, open his mouth, fail to say anything, shout something like "IHOPEYOUSTEPONALEGOBUTNOTBEHURTTOOMUCH" and run off. (his relationship with Fio is kind of based on this too though i havent draw that yet) SO my scenario is that they'd come across in the science class or just the lab since Jude is a biology geek himself and enjoys chem too, Kanra tries to annoy him because she hasn't saw his frustrated reaction yet, Jude gets annoyed, Kanra has fun and decides to keep it going. sad part is he'd definitely think Kanra is just trying to befriend him and get real happy, he'd even think of her as one of his best friends unaware its one sided 😭😭😭

OMGGG KANRA’S AND FIO’S DYNAMIC IS ADORABLEEEE shed give Fio the stankiest side eye in their first ever meeting but then just lets her hang out with her because she likes her the color of her hair and because Fio doesnt force her to change so shes like:
“You’re good at being not annoying. I think I’d like to keep you around.”
And she’d develop a sort of camaraderie with her when she starts to get help for her subclinical psychopathy. Of course, its not warm or soft. But Kanra’s actions (like protecting Fio or doing little things for her and remembering the things she likes) is proof she cares.
AND JUDEE MY GODD THATS KINDA BITTERSWEET 😭😭 Kanra WOULD think that about him at first, but as she grows up and gets CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) she’d actually feel like, well not heavy guilt per say, but she’d definitely try to make it up to him in her own way. Even if its blunt and sorta mean, she likes the guy even if she cant say it:

Hiro would be put off by Kanra. Sylvan would avoid Kanra at all cost. Sylvan is mostly in her own world sometimes but if she learned about Kanra from somewhere then she would try her absolute best to not have an interaction with her. Even tho Sylvan mostly tries to be friendly with everyone I don't think she can handle Kanra very well

[Kanra finds Elias sitting alone in the back corner of the library, a hoodie pulled over his head like a veil.
He hadn’t shown up to the last two study sessions. She wasn’t tracking him, not really. She just noticed. Like a blank space where noise used to be. And it itched her somewhat, so after class she resigned herself to finding him, hoping to get rid of the nagging feeling in her mind.
“You’re sulking,” she said flatly.
Elias didn’t look up. “I’m tired.”
Kanra sat beside him anyway, uninvited, and dropped a small bag of candy onto the table. Her face was passively blank as she did.
“You like these,” she said. Not a question.
He blinked at it. “How’d you know?”
“You chew them when you’re hurt. It’s like watching a teething puppy on painkillers.”
A small smile tugged at the corner of Elias’s mouth. He didn’t touch the candy. Not yet.
“I’m having a bad week,” he admitted.
Kanra nodded once. Then leaned back in the chair and added, “If you want, I can say something wildly out of line to distract you.”
That got a laugh. A real one.
Kanra didn’t smile, but her head tilted slightly. “There. Less sulking. Keep the candy. I don’t want it.”
She stood, walking off like nothing happened. But Elias’s eyes lingered on the space she’d left behind.]

In step 1 Yujin's emotionally detached from the neighborhood and nearly everyone in it, with the few exceptions being Francis, Gabriel, and to some extent Baxter.
So at that point in the story, he's still in his “igaf don't talk to me” phase. He'd remain indifferent to Kanra and treat her the same way he does Qiu and Tamarack. Because of the age gap and his pride, Kanra’s usual provocations wouldn't land. To him, she’s just another kid—three years younger and still in elementary school. If she tried to bait him, he’d just raise an eyebrow and give a half-hearted answer before moving on, mentally filing her behavior away with the rest of the annoying things he’s already seen at family events.
Yujin’s been around enough adults and social games to recognize manipulation for what it is. Nothing Kanra says would truly get under his skin—he’s had years of practice shrugging off passive aggression and veiled insults from relatives. Compared to that, Kanra’s needling would almost seem quaint.
For Francis, I imagine he’d be indifferent to Kanra. He’s unapologetically blunt, so if they met he’d answer any of her questions in the most straightforward way possible (as it is the most convenient method of communication for him). He’d directly confront Kanra about her behavior is she ever figured out lying was the easiest way to annoy him and try avoiding her in the future if she doesn’t change her habit of intentionally lying.
Gabriel would 100% try to befriend her. He’d be very curious about the newest resident and he likes getting to know people in general (no matter how difficult it may be). Depending on how she reacts to his social advances, he’d adjust and try a different approach to see what Kanra seems to prefer more.
Francis and Kanra’s dynamic could honestly have the potential to make Kanra frustrated. Cause she cant get through to him! And as much as she likes trying to figure out what makes him tick, shes the one who gets annoyed in the process 😭😭
Oh Gabriel,, youre gonna have one annoying little sister buzzing around If you succeed on befriending her 💔 i hope hes ready for her antics LOL
The irony is that the easiest way for Kanra to learn anything about him would be to just ask directly 😭

I can def see their whole dynamic being hilariously one-sided on Kanra’s end, she’d be trying to play chess with someone who’s playing go fish— and it’d somehow still a loss for her every time.
Okok I just read up on some of Kanra’s interactions w other MCs/OCs
Since one of the ways to capture Kanra’s attention is by being useful to her, rather than directly seeking her out, Gabriel would start to subtly display the depth of his social connections. Mostly through carefully timed conversations and casual mentions, he would demonstrate his ability to open doors for her, offering access to people and opportunities that could be of value.
Gabriel is not trying to win her over as a friend—instead, he’s pursuing a more calculated, mutually beneficial relationship. He’d come to the conclusion (after some careful observation of his own) that Kanra seems to value utility above all else, so he plays to that instinct, showing her that his influence can be leveraged. If he does succeed in winning her over, it’d be made more clear as their dynamic grows that his interest lies in Kanra as an individual, someone who might prove useful in ways he hasn’t fully figured out yet, rather than in any kind of emotional connection.
Overall I think their relationship could turn out super interesting by the time step 2 rolls around!! 😼

For Gabriel, Kanra would slowly learn to respect him because wow, he really did put in the effort to get her on his side. Shes impressed! She plays into his whims but is also studying him as well, her curiosity is piqued.
She believes she can also benefit from him from learning to copy his mannerisms and attitude, because goodness shes not well versed with some subtle nuances at all. So she’d try and imitate what Gabriel does, albeit a bit stiff, because she doesnt know the emotional depth of it so it comes out robotic 😭

Also why does Yujin’s relationship with her just remind me of an exasperated older brother and annoying and pestering little sister 😭😭 God I love when shes being so annoying to someone who takes no shit from her. Id like to think she gets attached to him because of that and doesnt realise what that feeling is until Opal or another close friend of hers points it out.
“You talk about that boy.. Yujin.. a lot these days.” Opal mentions off-handedly.
“So?”
“You act like he’s your brother.”
Kanra stared at her mother. “What?”
Opal tries to think of a way to explain it to her simply, “Well, you keep on egging him on even though he doesn’t give you a direct response.” Then she pinched Kanra’s cheek, “Which is rude, by the way.”
Kanra let out a soft whine, huffing at her mother, “That boy doesn’t react to it, Mother. Im sure he doesnt take offense.”
Her Mother only sighed, patting her daughters head, “Good thing you don’t have a sibling then, or else this house will be wrecked.” Opal joked, then pulled away to continue cooking dinner.
Kanra stares at her Mother, silently pondering as she set up the table.

Summer of 2011
The smell of charcoal and overcooked burgers hung in the air. Yujin leaned against the porch railing with a paper plate in hand—half a hot dog, untouched, and a sad pile of lettuce someone had the nerve to call a salad. His phone sat face-down on the rail next to him. Too many nosy parents. Too many little kids. Too much noise.
He was just about to check the time again when a shadow fell over him.
"Still haven’t run away, I see," came the voice—high, cool, and unmistakably Kanra.
Yujin didn’t look up. He just stabbed his hot dog with a plastic fork and said, "You’re here again. Should I be flattered or concerned?"
Kanra laughed—a short, pleased sound. "There’s no crime in keeping someone company. I was beginning to think you were glued to that spot. Like an old gargoyle watching the chaos below."
"I’ll have you arrested one way or another," he muttered, tearing a chunk of the hot dog off and chewing before adding, "You’d make a decent gargoyle yourself. You already lurk like one."
"Mm. But I move," she said, circling him to perch on the porch railing beside him like a bird preparing for mischief. "You just… watch. It’s almost admirable. You’re so composed, Yujin. Always unreadable."
He side-eyed her. "Is this your way of telling me I’m boring again?"
Kanra tilted her head. "No. Just hard to figure out."
Yujin gave a noncommittal shrug, eyes flicking back to the yard where Gabriel was stuck talking to someone’s mom and slowly dying inside.
"Everyone else gives me something," Kanra went on, as if they were in the middle of a long conversation. "Tamarack twitches. Qiu argues. Even Mother sighs at me. But you…" She leaned forward slightly, studying him like a bug under glass. "You’re sealed. I should study you. See what happens when something actually startles the unshakable Yujin."
"If that's your research project, you picked a boring subject," Yujin said, absently toying with his fork. "Should’ve gone with Darren. He flinches when the AC kicks in."
"Mm, but you’re the harder challenge," she smiled, legs swinging as she dangled from her seat on the railing. "And I enjoy solving puzzles."
"You’re not actually trying to solve anything, though," Yujin finally glanced over at her with an unimpressed look. "You just like shaking the box to see what rattles."
That gave her a half-second’s pause. Not because he was wrong—but because he said it like he knew it. For once, her words didn’t come right away.
Yujin waited a beat longer, then shrugged again and reached for his plate. "Guess you’re not done studying me after all."
He walked off, slow and casual, like her words hadn’t grazed something deeper. "Let me know when you figure out what you’re hoping to find inside."
Her silence lingered behind him like smoke—thin, clinging—until the breeze scattered it, and he reached Gabriel’s side just in time to pull him from his social dilemma.

Her reflecting on herself because of what Yujin said, feeling something akin to frustration and agitation because he managed to pick apart her actions that she thought she knew. Her having an ego death but also feeling it in a muted way but its there. Its there. But she cant feel it. Yet she knows something has changed.
It gives her a thrill of curiosity.
I think after this scene Kanra would still hang out around Yujin when she can. She’s still blunt, still mean and cold. But something changes with how she interacts with him. Its not soft, nor is it warm, but she respects him a whole lot now.

Up to you if you want to buy it but I use PaintTool SAI Ver1, although they have now come out with ver2 but I haven't tried it. it's a PC/MAC only program though.
I’ll definitely check it out in the future, but for now I’ll just keep it in mind since I’m not really used to drawing on a Mac. I really appreciate the suggestion. Thanks so much!
I’ve loved using Ibis Paint for mobile art for so long, it’s honestly been amazing. I recently got an iPad hoping it would help me level up my art, but to be honest, I still find it way easier to use on my phone. That said, I’ve always found the UI a little tricky and kind of frustrating at times. I still appreciate the suggestion though! <3 (PS your art is amazing but I just don’t think I’m a Ibis paint type of girl unfortunately 💔)
I just use the sketch app that came with my phone (//▽//). I've used Photoshop, Ibis and Illustrator before but I prefer fewer and simple tools so this works for me.
That’s honestly wild, considering how beautiful your art is. I’m always experimenting and trying to figure out my art style, so I need all the features a program can offer. But I think I’ll definitely have to check out Illustrator in the future. I also saw your recent art — great work as always, Ghostie! (o^▽^o)
Haha thank you. Experimenting is good, trying iconic styles definitely helped back when I was figuring out how to color. Its been a long time but Illustrator was more useful when drawing objects instead of people.

I use procreate and ibis. I know you have to pay for procreate, but k like the mechanics of it better than ibis personally, but ibis is also good too so I suggest using that, with a bunch of custom brushes and things like premade patterns and background, so I suggest using ibis paint!
I’m definitely planning to check out Procreate. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and almost all of my art buddies use it too! Quick question though: is it hard to get accustomed to? I’ve heard there are a lot of hidden features that you kind of have to discover on your own. (〒﹏〒)
no it’s not very hard! It’s quite easy once you get the hang of it, and I’ve been able to find easy tutorials online on certain features like symmetry, alpha lock, overlay, etc. since u have friends who us procreate in sure they can help u with hacks and tricks! I’m not sure ab all the hidden features but the ones I have now make the art look good! Just be careful when drawing small instead of drawing large than shrinking it down because it makes your art look pixely, at least in my experience ⊂((・▽・))⊃
im using ibispaint right now but i was using hipaint previously for a long time, you can try that out if you're in a situation where you cant buy procreate cause its basically a fake free one 😭 but its really laggy and closes itself off sometimes depending on the device, i don't recommend it too much honestly but its a good alternative for procreate so yeah
I use ibispaint! although I did use sketchbook(thats literally the name of the app) for a bit, imo it's kinda confusing at first but the brushes they have are literally god tier 🙏

Alright I PROMISE THIS IS IT FOR THIS WEEK. I actually have a secret. I have a very old mc that came before Xipil, but she was never fully made until now. I kept her hidden, but she is the character sheet I put off. Shortish yap session by the way.
This—
Is Quetzalli Rosen.
Quetzalli is a very sweet girl. She's quite energetic, loves to explore, and mischievous too. However, she really likes the sea (like Milo), and wishes to be a captain of a ship. The only downside is that she's watched so much shows to the point where if you asked her to do something, she'd say "Aye, captain!" and salute with a goofy grin before running off. She is also very knowledgeable on ships and how to build all kinds, and she does introduce herself first when she feels someone is scared or nervous.
n Step 1, she is excited to move because to her, it means more exploration. So, when the paper airplane hits her, she immediately tries to track it down. She meets Qiu first, and hits it off with him just fine, laughing and teasing him too. She then meets Tamarack, who together, should not be left unsupervised.
Like Tamarack in Step 2, Quetzalli loses her more mischievous side and becomes more calm. However, her teasing side only amps up, and soon she's the one messing with Qiu and Tamarack (not in a bad way). She's still energetic though, and often salutes and calls people captain. But she is a wonderful listener and will offer a ear and advice if her friends or anyone needs it. She is very much a mom friend and will look after people, which is bad. Why? Well, she often prioritizes other people. A bit too much. Which leads to her feeling selfish and guilty if she takes time for herself, telling herself she needs to help others. And sometimes stops her from eating.
In Step 3, she remains the same, often making jokes and still somehow energetic. She's learned to prioritize herself as well, and no longer puts others in front of her as much as before. And yes, she still does the playful salute and captain habit. She hasn't let it go, just like her knowledge on how a ship works.
Anyways I hope you like her, I promise this is the last mc this week. She's also very fidgety and can't hold eye contact for long. She does manage to make slow progress over time, and if it looks like she's not listening, she is. She does this little thing where she'll hold your sleeve, hand, or put her face in her hands like shown above, and nod. If she's not listening, she will stare off into space and look mad. These are some of my habits I gave to her, so she has them.
Man I love your characters! She sound so silly I love it. Just one question for Quetzalli….

Thanks! I usually take bits from different characters from shows I used to watch. Her love for ships actually come from me, and You Watanabe from Love Live! Sunshine. But I'm struggling with Milo and Bjørn's lore, so it's mostly going to be just Metztli, Xipil, and Quetzalli.
So I would suggest maybe taking some parts of characters, then using it as a frame for how you want your mc to be like. Obviously don't copy the personality, but taking some struggles or characteristics and adding to them or revising them helps. Like with Metztli. Metztli has the same perfection issue as Amity, but instead of it being ingrained, it's a direct result of how teachers can impact kids. Her teacher was a major jerk and often humiliated her everytime she asked a question or had trouble. So she begun to associate not knowing with being made fun of and hated, which then in turn begun to make her a perfectionist. If she's perfect, no one will make fun of her. No one will hate her if she's perfect. That's her mentality. She's not upholding a family name, she's preventing herself from being hurt.
Sorry for the yapping, I hope it helps break down how I make them, obviously I don't copy paste the characters, I just insert little references from characters that had a huge impact on me. And thank you for liking her!

Answer 1: She doesn’t wear nail polish, she barely even sees the need to take of her hair.
Answer 2: she has heterocromia, her left eye is brown and her right eye is cranberry like her hair. (I mean right and left from her perspective.) Her eyes also almost always have bags under them from a lack of sleep and they have an uninterested glare in most situations.
Answer 3: she’s very tired most mornings, progressively getting more grumpy after each night without sleep. But she’s actually very pleasant after nights when she gets some sleep.

This game is good and all, but i want to say some thinga and wonder if you could fix it if possible. First. I would like to address some problems. Sometimes. While playing or something at customizing stuff. The screen just randomly freezes and i can't do anything. Im a android user and i don't know if it usually happens to android users or not but its kind of annoying because i have to redo everything and didn't save it yet
Next problem. Its the fact that i can't change my name. Or put a nickname. Ive tried. But it didn't allow me. Sometimes. The name just switches to every other thing i press to. For example i want to put in xinyi as my nickname. I can't like press the button where you usual put the keyboard down or out of the screen because it keeps popping back up into the screen again and if i press like first name. The xinyi will go on the first name alongside with frank. Which is weird. And like i can't do anything to change the name. So if i want to play the game. I would have to use the name that has been already put. Which is alright but not really to my liking.
Third. Theres just something that disturbs me for one of the back hair. It looks weird. The thing ontop makes it look weird ya know? So i was hoping if its alright if you could change the design abit but it would be fine if you didn't since i just want the 2 problems i were talking about to be fixed.

Hello! Thank you so much for playing, and sorry you've been having difficulties! For the first with the screen freezing, does it freeze at certain times, or does it seem random? You can try turning off animations in the preferences menu and seeing if that helps.
For the second issue with the names, are you saying your entries are not appearing in the text box? Or are they changing after you try to type them in?
For the third with the hair, that hair is just under the "Hair Back" section, meaning it isn't meant to be seen as a hair style all by itself. It looks better when combined with a "Hair Front" option higher on that list.

So earlier, someone mentioned Amity on Metztli's lore (I already know who, thank you for planting this idea). So as I normally do, I'm haunted by the thought, and then I stop everything to work on it. So, I've done it again. Except this time, a special guest. Okay, I've made some changes to Sin's hair as the color settings on my monitor got messed up so their hair was the wrong colors. I also added some features to their hair that earned their second nickname "Stardust". Oh and I've given them a little introduction as well.

Originally from Scotland, Senienna Ironhearth is a bright and joyful child. But they hate their name Senienna and insists their friends call them "Sin". Sin is a kind and caring friend, they’re always taking care of others earning them the title of the mom friend. Although this means they don't take care of themself as much as they should. Sin is also a very confident and athletic, they’re highly skilled a soccer. This can lead them to be a bit of a tomboy at times. While they are very patient with people, make them mad a you will face the wrath of a thousand suns. Sin hates seeing people, especially friends being bullied or hurt. Their father who they have never met until during their life in Golden Grove, is from a noble family in Scotland and holds the title of Duke. Sin is also very good at chemistry and is fascinated by the idea of magic potions, making strange concoctions from ingredients lying around the house and making their mom try them. Their hair also has a strange natural glitter to it. Oh and how could I forget their obsession with muffins, you will never find them without one on their person or close by.

Hello OLNF community! I've been wanting to ask this question for a while now but I didn't bc I wanted to make a character sheet for my characters first but honestly It would probably take a while for me to do it since I have a lot of other projects to do. But the curiousity is literally torturing me so i'll be asking the question now!
What would your MC’s(and non-MC too if you want!) dynamic be with my MCs? It could be anything! Indiferent, hate, friends, and even crush!
Sin would get along with them fairly well I think. She’s would probably go to Sylvan for make up tips and such. Tanlin would probably not trust sin because she’s “too nice” and so they’d probably stay neutral for a while.
Bacon would just be Bacon and try to befriend both of them. I’m dead tired so I can’t recall everything about your Sylvan but I think he’d succeed. I think he could also befriend Tanlin probably by saying something actually smart like, “You know the best part about having friends is that no matter how many you lose, you can always make more” and then immediately say something incredibly stupid.
Kathryne would probably be annoyed by Sylvan even though she usually has a weakness for pretty girls, because I feel like Sylvan would be constantly trying to fix KitKat’s wild hair and she’s not a fan of physical touch. But other than that, after a while, she might warm up. Honestly she could also probably befriend Tanlin simply because she’s VERY blunt and just speaks her mind. I feel like Tanlin would be drawn to that kind of honesty, even if it’s a little rude sometimes.

Oh I didnt know Sin would be the type to do that. Sylvan would be more than happy to give out makeup tips and stuff! She actually likes to play dress up with her friends from time to time(with their consent ofc) so Sylvan is overjoyed to know that Sin would seek out advice to her! That is actually pretty accurate for TanTan to not trust Sin. TanTan is always on her guard so Sin being too nice might seem fake to her due to her trust issues.
I don't really put a lot of info about Sylvan when I post about her so that's fine! Bacon would def succeed on befriending Sylvan, she's usually can get along well with just anyone. Honestly, I think TanTan would be drawn towards Bacon, so she would probably find it easier to be friendlier towards him. She would probably find him quite funny when he says dumb things
Sylvan would def try to fix KitKat's hair bc she wouldn't be able to stand how it looks but she would stop once she realized that she was causing KitKat discomfort. TanTan does like honest people actually but she would probably feel a bit insecure when KitKat says something a bit rude bc shes a bit sensitive towards that stuff. Although TanTan would probably realized that she didn't actually had any intention to make her feel bad or anything.

Hiro’s the kind of person who keeps to himself, not because he doesn’t care, but because he’s been hurt so many times that it just feels safer that way. He doesn’t show a lot of emotions on his face(but you can always tell what he's feeling though), and people used to treat him like there was something wrong with him because of it. So in step 2 he started wearing a mask(not to be mysterious or cool, but just to hide, to protect himself)
But deep down, he feels things really strongly. He just doesn’t always know how to say it. Around people he trusts he softens up a lot. He’s still quiet, still not super expressive, but you can tell he cares. He’s loyal, thoughtful, and even though the world’s been rough on him, he hasn’t shut everyone out. He’s got this quiet kind of strength, like he’s been through a lot, but he’s still standing and still trying.
Bacon would probably be too much for Hiro, his level of energy can get overwhelming for even a normal person at times.
KitKat and Hiro would probably go hide together in a corner to get away from crowds.
Sin would probably go into protect mode around Hiro and go stand up for him.

- With Hiro: He’d treat him like he does Damian! They find him pretty similar so Runie would feel comfortable with him right away. He knows Hiro isnt the same as Damian so of course he’ll get to know Hiro as a person as well. I think for the two theyd have a very stable friendship! It could also probably be the yapper and listener because Runie loves talking to people once hes close to them. (Hiro is also now added to the list of people that Runie would make crocheted gifts for and the Runie shield)
- With Sylvan: Oh gosh the very cutest puppy crush on her. He actually mistakes his “romantic” feelings for her for admiration, because he absolutely loves her fashion sense (cough cos he doesnt have any cough) and tries to like, subtly try and replicate Sylvan’s fits with his own style. Once he gathers the actual balls to talk to her he’d find her so cool and he’d be kicking his feet like a teen girl cause he finally befriended his squish! (Also now added to the list of ppl that are protected by the Runie shield)
- With TanTan: I love the meet cute trope, especially if its super dorky. I think Tanlin would, at first, feel slight annoyed and terrified of Runie when they first met. While Runie is just shielding her from a soccer ball that was about to her TwT
Overtime theyd actually start bumping into each other frequently making them more closer and getting to know each other more. With Runie finding out the reason why shes guarded and how her past friends betrayed her (insert Runie looking livid and TanTan giving him a sweet dessert to calm him down)

- With TanTan: This is gonna sound so bad but Kanra would actually try and make her tic because shes never seen someone being betrayed by their friends before and starts to ask like, unintentionally mean questions. I think Tantan will actively start to distance herself from Kanra because of that. Kanra doesnt know why Tantan would be mad when its the truth, but soon realises that her actions DOES have consequences, she hurt someone. (I’d like to thank Bacon and TanTan for making her reflect on herself and try to improve)
I see their relationship dynamic to be similar to Keith and Allura from Voltron!! (Well slightly similar, i just dont have any other duos to compare them too cries)

I honestly never thought of Runie's and Hiro dynamics before but i think you got it pretty spot on! Hiro would find Runie to be pretty refreshing to be around since he wouldn't feel pressured to talk much around them. I never mentioned this before but Hiro actually found a hobby in step 3, it's jewelry making(If you take a look at Hiro's step 3 design you can see that he turned his hair tie beads into earings!) since Hiro is the type that when someone gifts him something he will always give something back in return. So since Runie would make crocheted gifts for him Hiro would make something back for Runie. Im not sure if Runie is the type to wear jewelry but I feel like they would still keep the gift for safe keeping
GAH RUNIE HAVING A PUPPY CRUSH ON SYLVAN IS SO ADO4ABLE AHJE. Tbh Sylvan would not even realize it since she's really dense sometimes 🥲 omg him trying to replicate Sylvan's fits AAA RAMU ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!? THIS IS TOO CUTE 😭😭 Although I don't think Sylvan would see them in a romantic way, I feel like she would feel very fond of him. Tbh I don't really have much to say for Kanra bc TanTan will really just distant herself from people like that. All I can say is TanTan would probably feel uneasy around Kanra and would try to ignore her questions.
Blythe would probably think Sylvan is cool, because of her fashion sense and all! You see, Blythe really LOVES IT when she sees a fashionable person lol. And I feel like Blythe would ALWAYS ask her where her clothes are from, she'd make jokes like "Where did u get your clothes! I wanna STEAL IT 😈😈"
Blythe is pretty neutral towards Hiro, she thinks he looks like a cookie (and muffin) so she finds him to be cute and one of her favorites lmao. And just like with Fio (another one of Blythe's favorite people), Blythe either ACTUALLY ISNT ACTING LIKE TIME-TICKING BOMB (RARE) or just a straight-up menace to society 😞😞 (But I'm sure that Blythe thinks Hiro isnt the type of person to like that type of stuff so only the 1st one hehe)

Jude with Hiro: im gonna start with these two because theyre besties in my mind CAUSE THEYRE ALMOST THE SAME PERSON 😭 not all similar people get along but i feel like they have all the friend chemistry possible, i think their friendship would base on mostly comfortable silences, like yk the silent hangouts where you are usually silent and doing your own stuff but with another person there because you want to do it with them and feel really comfortable??? THAT. no idea how they'd meet though it has to be a super coincidence or else no way those two are interacting with eachother 😞
Jude with Sylvan: i gotta say Jude has no fashion sense (untill step 3 at least) but he'd ADORE Sylvans style, i dont think he'd make any move to talk or be friends with her but he'd look for her first thing everyday at school to see what that stylish kid wore today, like a small routine that really cheers him up. he would try to be swift with it but im not sure if Sylvan would still notice or not. they also have a good friendship potential though just not for step one?? 🤔
Jude with Tanlin: im sad to say i dont think they'd interact and wouldn't be friends even if they do ☹️ even though they're both a little distant and silent at first Jude reads a lot into peoples actions and he'd mistake Tantans distant and untrusting approach as dislike, so he'd stay away from her since he thinks he annoys her. no idea for other steps though it can change!!
Fio with Hiro: mostly the yapper x listener and calm x grumpy duo stuff, i think they'd be good friends and balance eachother really well!!! Fio would open up quickly with him even though he's mostly quiet cause she wouldnt think he'd judge her and protect him at any cost if any bully comes his way
Fio with Sylvan: ANOTHER BESTIES POTENTIAL‼️ no logic behind this it just has that feeling their personalities go well together, and the fast opening up goes for Sylvan too since she also gives unjudging, safe person vibes to me. i think she'd enjoy messing with Fio's hair (which Fio would be really happy about) ! ALSO i forgot to mention Fio is a huge insect nerd and i remember Sylvan being afraid of bugs so she'd help a lot with that and they would both benefit from it !!! like Sylvan could call for Fio whenever she sees a bug to take it somewhere else while Fio happily gets to examine it (without any harm ofc)
Fio with Tantan: not sure if they'd be friends but Fio would interact with her a lot because she'd notice her discomfort at times and swat all possible bullies and try to protect her from anything that disturbs her like her life depends on it 😭 not even trying to be friends just getting her straight to the list of her protected people AND IM NOT SURE IF ITS GOOD EITHER because while she'd get all the kids with bad intentions away SHE MIGHT GET THE GOOD ONES TOO SINCE TANTAN LOOKS AWKWARD WHILE TALKING WITH THEM SO SHE'D THINK SHE'S DISTURBED AND GO "oh they're annoying that pretty blonde girl again?? Tanlin with Jude: tbh I agree that they wouldnt interact at all in step 2 BUT there is a possibility that they could be friends during step 1!(but it has to be before the incident) Ive said that TanTan was lively and talkative as a kid so maybe they could become friends from how outgoing she is. Although after the incident she might seem a bit more quiet but shes very loyal to her friends so for the ones who stayed around she will not close herself off to them. If TanTan and Jude have met like this I think they would have a pretty stable friendship!
Tanlin with Fio: Honestly TanTan would probably consider to be friends with Fio bc she thinks that Fio is really cool, but she would make no move to ever talk to Fio at all. I think they would be acquaintances until one of them actually make a move to turn it into friendship (which is not going to be TanTan 😓) also TanTan would probably give a look to Fio if she drove off someone who TanTan kinda likes, like she'll be like 😟 but honestly she probably wont think too much abt it since she doesn’t want a lot of friends anyway bc she personally think that she doesn’t have enough social battery to keep up with it all

Tanlin’s a VERY awkward, shy, soft-hearted girl with a lot of love to give, but she's super cautious about who she lets in. She used to be bubbly and outgoing, but after getting hurt by people she trusted, she kind of closed off and became more quiet and awkward. She’s the kind who overthinks her responses, blushes when she’s happy, and makes thoughtful little handmade gifts(like a keychain or smth) for her friends. Deep down, she’s still that warm, expressive kid, just hidden under layers of caution and fluff
Sylvan is a confident, goofy fashion lover with a big heart and not a lot of braincells sometimes (in the best way). She’s super expressive with her friends, a little dense when it comes to feelings. She lives for fashion, she makes some of her own clothes and will totally lend them out if she thinks it'll make someone happy. She’s got a soft spot for short people, loves playing with hair (hers or others'), and often gifts her friends little handmade stuff like clothes or accessories. Ceres Forrest - 10 y.o., She/Her
Ceres would like to believe that she's a good person. She's always polite, if a little different. She tries to be helpful, she tries to be nice to people, and she's played mediator for most all her life. But right now, she felt like she had earned it to be selfishly resentful.
She was finally settled, back in her old place, finally doing something. And now all of that was ruined; nothing would be the same. She can't even look at her skates without a sick feeling twisting in her stomach. She could hear her voice scolding them for their cowardice (because that's what it was, wasn't it? Ceres was scared). But it didn't matter, she was gone now.
So Ceres steels herself and throws herself headfirst into new things. She meets the (admittedly charming) neighbour kids, she works harder than she ever has in school, she's the model little princess. All while avoiding looking at the framed ballerina on the mantle, a reminder of the life she'd loved and lost.
But none of it hits the same, and Ceres doesn't understand why. She's been smiling more than ever; why does it feel fake? Every laugh feels like a lie, every touch like a crushing weight, even her own name sounds sour to her ears when it's called.
Ceres is hollow, wrong, not at all like the warmth that radiates throughout the other children of Golden Grove. But...She does like her neighbours.
Step 1.5 (Moments Sharp and Metamorphosis):-
Ceres "Cerrus" Forrest:- 10-12 y.o., They/She-They/Them
Khione is here, and for weeks after, Ceres is the happiest they've ever been.
The girl of their memories, practically a woman now, with the way she acts. She was a hurricane, impossible not to get swept up in. It happened before, and it's happening all over again. Ceres skates for the first time in months, and she is elated. They hoped for the Olympics, once upon a time; it seemed like Khione's aspirations hadn't changed.
So Ceres dons their glittery leotard (ignoring the way it feels slimy on their skin) and plays the role of ice, of moon, of winter. They don't talk to Qiu or Tamarack or Ren so much, but sacrifices must be made. Khione has been hard at work all this time, Ceres has been hiding from the ice; they need to catch up. She performs jumps and spins and lifts, and it's like a catharsis.
Their friends might be concerned, but they brush them off, no matter how much they want to reveal everything. I'm a liar, I'm sorry, this is the only way I'mabletofeelwholePLEASELEAVEMEALONE-
Khione is here, and for months after, Ceres is the angriest she's ever been.
Khione is hard to please, endlessly so. Ceres doesn't mind, has never minded. She'd bend over backwards to keep her friend. But have Khione's walls always been so high? Her heart seems to be fortified by ice these days. Though that's perhaps ironic coming from Ceres. The memory of the fiery girl she once knew is melting between Ceres' clenched fists like snow.
There are always fragments of truth woven into the most believable of masks. This new Khione, strange and cruel and cold, is terrifyingly convincing.
Khione dyes her hair white, Ceres cuts theirs short. Khione starts to care too much, Ceres cares too little. Khione is the perfect girl, Ceres doesn't think they even are a girl anymore.
Ceres doesn't sleep, they don't eat, they sacrifice *everything* for their and Khione's dream. They call it prioritising, Qiu and Tamarack call it repression.
Step 2:-
Cerrus Forrest:- 14 y.o., They/Ve
Cerrus is a high schooler by now. It doesn't change anything. Their little trio of neighbours draws even further away from each other, though they still wear their friendship bracelets.
Cerrus gets medicated, and they're doing better.
Cerrus is a filthy liar, they're doing worse than ever before. They're also flexible, as someone like them must be. They've learned not to break when they bend. But ve can only take so much of Khione. Ve yells, and Khione does her fair share too, harsh truths spat between them like daggers, intending to kill. Despite their unassuming nature, Cerrus is just as stubborn as Khione.
But time marches on, indifferent to the squabbles of hurting and broken children. Khione, just as familiar with duplicity as Cerrus, signs them up for a competitive figure skating competition for children their age.
They play the perfect duo, despite everything, hiding behind their respective fickle facades. Vir hair is meticulously styled, and so nobody can see the jagged haircut ve had given virself. Their clothes are sleek and elegant, and so nobody looks close enough to see how they hang off vir frame. They flash a smile, and it lets people pretend they aren't baring their teeth.
They win, and yet Cerrus still feels hollow. Why? Why do they still feel empty? Wining was supposed to fix anything, but nothing has changed. Has Cerrus been lying to themselves the whole time? They've always been a liar, whycan'ttheystopLYING?!-

Okay, it's yap session time. Feel free to skip the yaps, it's a long one since I already had an idea of how she'd be. Hope you enjoy!
May I present my new mc... Metztli Caballero! And she does have the symbol of the Aztec goddess as her tattoo in Step Three since her name is the same as the Aztec goddess of the moon, Metztli. Still experimenting with the art.
Step 1:
Metztli is a very polite and well mannered girl. A bit too much to the point where she forgets to speak normally. She's very confident and can speak her mind, and she will often do so. She enjoys making her own things, such as jewelry and her in progress sewing lessons. However, she's a perfectionist. Anyways, she didn't mind the move to Golden Grove. She was focused on doing good in school, so she didn't care to make friends. However, she does meet Qiu first. And immediately, she does not like him. Why? She's used to being nearly perfect and well mannered. Opal has no idea why, considering Metztli has just decided she'd be like that. So, upon meeting someone the opposite of her, it stirs up complex feelings. She's even more confused when he deny losing his paper and gets genuinely mad at him. So she's already off to a bad start here, and she swears she would never like him. Too bad she falls for him (literally) to help him win a race (she jumped off the bike).
Step 2:
As She's grown older, her want to be the best begins to overtake her. Her friendship with Tamarack and Qiu remains the same on good terms. However, she's also become more mean when it's come to people she doesn't like. Particularly, bullies and jerks. Her sense of justice is very questionable considering she has dumped water on bullies and insulted them harshly after they talk ill of her friends. To be honest, that's as far as she goes before she ultimately chooses to ignore them. But she doesn't do it often, so normally she's very polite, and friendly, and will not be mean to innocent people. And she does really care about her friends, often reassuring them that they're doing just fine and that's she proud of them. She is insecure though, as she believes she isn't special, so her dresses and jewelry make her feel special. If they are ever destroyed, she will cry. However, to one very special neighbor, she is special to them. She just hasn't realized that there is one person who doesn't care if she's perfect or not.
Step 3:
She's now more confident in her skills. After years, she's realized that even is shes not perfect, she's still loved, and she doesn't need to prove herself for it. And now, she wears her dresses even when it's cold outside. The cold doesn't bother her considering she always has a warm coat on hand, and she mostly only wears it outdoors. She is still mean, however, expect she only really says things to tourists who are mean or rude for no reason. And yes, she is very embarrassed that she said she would never fall for Qiu, and she still ended up falling for them in the end (She does like him. It's very easy to tell). If brought up, she will yell shut up and start dramatically walking away with a bright red blush on her face.
She's not mean to Qiu. Just to clarify, she doesn't deny liking them, nor does she ever show "love" by being straight up rude. She's only embarrassed because she had a superiority complex where she thought she was better because she was perfect, and thought he wasn't at the time, and as such believed she would never love him as more than a friend. She does genuinely appreciate them, and she's happy she likes him. She's not a tsundere. She's meant to have a problem where she believed all love she receives has to be earned through perfection and hard work. At ten, she never talked to someone so carefree as Qiu, so it threw her off. Hence why she dislikes him at first. He was everything she wasn't (until the Step 1 wheels moment where she jumps off his bike to help him win), and she didn't know how to process it.
I looked closer to her step 3 design and.. SHE HAS CRESCENT MOON EARRINGS ⁉️⁉️ THE DETAIL OMG. and i said it once and ill say it again... I'M METZTLI'S HAIR'S NUMBER 1 FAN ‼️‼️‼️

I'm glad you like her design! I tried to input more aztec pieces in, but I haven't finished her full body drawing yet. I'm sorry if it hit too close to home, but I'm really glad you're not in the mindset anymore. I wrote her as like a slight example about how adults can influence kids, and her fourth grade teacher made fun of her for not understanding things, so eventually she believed she needed to be perfect to avoid it from happening again.
no you’re fine, water under the bridge. Besides, it was a self induced thing when I was like 8 or 9 which I later found out was likely caused by my OCD. I always felt had to do stuff exactly the right way or have the end result be perfect or it was a failure. I eventually learned to say, “ Eh… good enough.” and move on.

It's actually a fear influenced by a really mean teacher she had as a kid (basically made fun of her when she didn't understand something), and she hasn't told anyone. But I PROMISE she gets better and eventually gets out of the mindset! She also really loves hot chocolate.

Tanlin is a platonic route MC so she won't end up with anyone (mostly bc shes aroace like me). In step 1 Tanlin was kinda the opposite of the awkward cutie she is now, i would say she was a pretty energetic and talkative kid but not like too much? If that makes sense

'Whispers louder than words' (Step 1.5 backstory, she's probably around 11-12)
At first, Tanlin didn't notice the change. A slightly longer pause before a greeting. A look that lingered too long, unreadable. Then came the silence.. the kind that fills rooms even when they’re full of people. She wasn’t sure what hurt more; the rumor itself or how quickly those who she call "friends" believed it.
Someone popular had said she was fake, manipulative even. That she only hung around other people to feel superior. That she lied. It wasn’t true, not any of it. But the person who said it smiled in all the right ways and had enough followers to make anything sound believable. Why did they do it? Tanlin doesn't even know. Maybe it was out of jealousy? Maybe they just did it for fun? Either way, the truth didn’t change, even when people believed the lie
What stung wasn’t the rumor itself. It was how her "friends" didn’t even ask. No questions. No “Hey, did you hear what’s going around?” or “You okay?” Just distance. Like she had become contagious or something.
She would sit at lunch and feel their eyes flicker to her, then away, like looking too long might make them guilty by association. Conversations she used to be part of now happened without her, even when she was right there. Messages went unanswered. Plans were made without her name even coming up.
And she kept wondering; "Was I really that easy to leave behind?"
She thought friendships meant loyalty. She thought they knew her better than that. But all it took was a few words from someone shinier, someone with more influence... Well at least she wasn't completely alone. She's lucky enough to have some friends who didn't believe baseless rumors. But still, it hurts.

OKAY TIME FOR SOME EXTRA INFO THAT DIDN'T FIT INTO THE PIC! Its not really noticeably in the drawing but she has fang-like teeth! Tanlin's eyes sparkles and she blushes when shes happy and the face she makes when someone shes unfamiliar with is talking to her could be mistaken as discomfort but in reality shes just awkwardly trying to think of something to say in her head (you can tell if she feels uncomfy or not by her blushing, if she is then that means she's happy youre talking to her!). Due to the incident in her backstory, she has trust issues like, if someone were to befriend her she would probably be very distant at first as she doesn't want to get attached to the wrong people. Also Ik I put 'touching' in her dislikes but she doesn't actually hate physical contact itself, she would just hate how embarrassed she gets whenever someone initiate it. Tanlin also really love arts and crafts so she makes gifts like keychains or a drawing for her friends whenever she feels like it. I FORGOT TO MENTION she has like stubby small eyebrows? Like the ones you usually sees on chibis. I thought giving her unnatural eyebrows like Cove from OL1 would be pretty nice :) oh and the red dots on her face are acne. AND ONE LAST THING! Her body is a bit more on the chubbier side! The fluffiness of her hair kinda made her body look skinnier 🥲

When I first saw the red flowers in her hair, I wasn't sure about what kind of flower it was. But I thought of drawing her with Red Spider Lilies because I thought it would suit her! Kanra Fujimori has low-moderate Psychopathic tendencies. Her only first and genuine connection is with Opal, and even that took some time for Kanra to get used to.
In Step 1 she is not able to feel empathy or feel a connection to other people. Even for Qiu and Tamarack. She finds them to be quite interesting though and thats enough for her to make her stay.
Kanra also has tendencies to be quite manipulative, gauging peoples reactions to entertain her or to conduct a study. Thats why her classmates (except for Qiu and Tamarack) are scared of her.
She knows she isnt what the other kids are, and she knows that she isnt quite like them. Kanra shrugs it off and embraces the hollowness like an old friend anyways.
(She will get character development for the other steps. But I dont think I can give her a love interest because I dont think any of them will be her type TwT)
KitKat would be very frustrated by her but also have a huge crush. She likes pretty girls but she also likes people who are broken the most.
Bacon would get along with her pretty well. At least in step 1, he doesn’t have the brains to really know when someone insults him unless they are VERY direct about it. I feel like his stupid, goofy personality could make her smile.
Sin would not get along with her. She doesn’t like it when people are mean to her or her friends, even if it’s not intentional. Also when she gets angry, she basically turns into Chi Chi from DBZ, so I feel like Kanra would learn not to mess with her very fast.

For Bacon, I think Kanra would subconsciously develop a sort of attachment to him. She wont actually realise it in Step 1, but maybe in Step 2-3 when theyd probably grow apart and Kanra would have to seriously self reflect because why did she feel disappointed when Bacon stopped being around her anymore? (CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT BABYYYY🔥🔥)
Funnily enough, I think that would make Kanra be annoying to her even more. She loves making people pissed off. I think she’d tease her to the point she’d have to run away as shes being chased. She loves the thrill unfortunately (its also her way of being friendly LOL)
Nah I think Bacon would just have to have a serious talk with her and everything would be fine. He tends to give people the benefit of the doubt so he'd probably realize that's just her way of showing she cares
Also yeah. KitKat finds normal people to be kinda offputting. She's grown up around weird and broken people her whole life, Bacon being case and point, so someone who doesn't have something wrong with them freaks her out.
If Kitkat was subtle with her crush I think Kanra would just mistake her for finding her weird 😭 like she doesnt get the emotional weight of love or the nuance of it so shed just think:
“Shes staring at me.. Maybe she thinks im weird. She’s making it so obvious.”
THATS SO SWEET 🥹🥹🥹 Bacon would def be Kanra’s soft spot though icl. She doesnt feel things as deeply but her actions would always prove to Bacon that yeah, she cares abt him in her own way.
i actually think kojo and kanra would be great friends icl 🤔🤔 i’ve lowkey never stated this bcs im still developing it, but kojo’s actually quite apathetic and borderline cruel/psychopathic most of the time. He mainly develops this side of him between step 1 and 2 and onwards but there are hints of it in his childhood. idk if u remember but when made that butcher kojo concept drawing for an au in my head i kind of wanted to explore kojo’s more morally ‘wrong’ side 💔💔💔
but yeah basically i think kojo wouldn’t mind kanra! i think they’d both find each other interesting 🤞🤞 maybe indulge a bit in one another’s morally questionable actions idk 🤷🏽♂️ she’s still a fairly new character of yours so i don’t really wanna guess things 🥀🥀
for yuming i would say she might develop a little crush on her while also finding her an interesting character. she wouldn’t necessarily think she’s weird, but rather wants to know what makes her tick. Maybe yuming would look a little shocked when kanra might say something crazy but overall i think she’d be fine with her.
my ocs/mcs either judge you like crazy or just shrug and look the other way im gonna be honest 😭😭

For their first impressions I believe Kanra would find him boring at first, she doesnt have the will to get to know him. UNTIL!! Kanra wants to do something (maybe conduct a study on something Kojo coincidentally likes?) and she wants to make a beneficially useful relationship with him. And then they become that very off-putting duo at school who are surprisingly chill with eachother.
For Yuming! Kanra would also not get out of her way to get to know her (she only makes relationships that help her with something or if its built on mutual respect) but she likes saying off-putting things around Yuming to see her reactions every once in a while. She finds it endearing and thinks its funny 😭
I honestly think Angeli would get along with Kanra pretty easily, especially since they share some similar traits. They’d have no trouble sitting in comfortable silence together. On a different note, I have another MC that I haven’t shared or talked about yet, but I’m really excited to reveal her once I finish drawing her. She’s also a psychopath, similar to Kanra. (°▽°)

I have 2 MCS who (1) looks VERY SIMILAR to kanra and (2) has a similar personality to kanra's. so blythe would totally mistake kanra for those two mcs and when she realises that it's not them, blythe is ABSOLUTELY gonna freak out. I feel like Blythe would be totally scared of Kanra but likes her (A LITTLE BIT) because she looks like my other mc lol.

haruki step one would HATE her. He’s scene enough k-drama’s and watched enough YouTube shorts to see the signs, he gives her glares, he doenst go near her beneath the disguise of ‘she’s not good enough’ but secretly he tries to keep people away from her. He carefully watched her not of interest but of disgust, he doesn’t want her to taint his record
Maeve step one would be TERRIFIED she’d flinch if Kanra even looked at her, she’d stay far, FAR away from her, she understands being blunt but the dull look in her eyes creeps her out. She’d believe Kanra is possessed or smth and makes up stories in her head about it
Remedy step one would have a massive crush on her, I think Kanra would find Remedy interesting, based on her upbringing, talents, bluntness, reactions to certain things and the peculiar things that make her tic, etc. Remedy is unused to this attention since her class is afraid of her mostly because of her height, upbringing and fame, labeled the Prodigy child, and she feels as if they bond quickly. Because of her isolated upbringing she has no knowledge of interactions properly and doesn’t spot the signs of manipulation, and because of that, and the fact that she’s a people pleaser, she follows Kanra around waiting for approval or just a notion that she exists and lets her get away with anything she does to her. Idk tho how does Kanra find ppl interesting?? Also Remedy has a habit of befriending everyone once you look past her exterior so yeah ｡^‿^｡

This is the third person to have a crush on Kanra! for Jude I THINK SHE'D FRUSTRATE HIM ON A DAILY BASIS though he's really closed of in step one he gets real funny when he's mad, like he'd stay silent untill he gets red like a tomato, open his mouth, fail to say anything, shout something like "IHOPEYOUSTEPONALEGOBUTNOTBEHURTTOOMUCH" and run off. (his relationship with Fio is kind of based on this too though i havent draw that yet) SO my scenario is that they'd come across in the science class or just the lab since Jude is a biology geek himself and enjoys chem too, Kanra tries to annoy him because she hasn't saw his frustrated reaction yet, Jude gets annoyed, Kanra has fun and decides to keep it going. sad part is he'd definitely think Kanra is just trying to befriend him and get real happy, he'd even think of her as one of his best friends unaware its one sided 😭😭😭

OMGGG KANRA’S AND FIO’S DYNAMIC IS ADORABLEEEE shed give Fio the stankiest side eye in their first ever meeting but then just lets her hang out with her because she likes her the color of her hair and because Fio doesnt force her to change so shes like:
“You’re good at being not annoying. I think I’d like to keep you around.”
And she’d develop a sort of camaraderie with her when she starts to get help for her subclinical psychopathy. Of course, its not warm or soft. But Kanra’s actions (like protecting Fio or doing little things for her and remembering the things she likes) is proof she cares.
AND JUDEE MY GODD THATS KINDA BITTERSWEET 😭😭 Kanra WOULD think that about him at first, but as she grows up and gets CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) she’d actually feel like, well not heavy guilt per say, but she’d definitely try to make it up to him in her own way. Even if its blunt and sorta mean, she likes the guy even if she cant say it:
“Don’t get it over your head. I like what you are to me, and thats something Im not used to. I dont want it gone.”
Hiro would be put off by Kanra. He def would hate it if she teases him but the annoyance would not show on his face since he lack the ability to express emotions(he's working on it). but bc of his lack of reactions I feel like Kanra would make it her absolute goal to bring out even a slight reaction out of him
Sylvan would avoid Kanra at all cost. Sylvan is mostly in her own world sometimes but if she learned about Kanra from somewhere then she would try her absolute best to not have an interaction with her. Even tho Sylvan mostly tries to be friendly with everyone I don't think she can handle Kanra very well

For Kel! Damn you got it right 😭😭 Kanra would like toying with him because of how friendly he is. Kanra wants to copy how his attitude is so she’d stick around just to study him because of his charm.

[Kanra finds Elias sitting alone in the back corner of the library, a hoodie pulled over his head like a veil.
He hadn’t shown up to the last two study sessions. She wasn’t tracking him, not really. She just noticed. Like a blank space where noise used to be. And it itched her somewhat, so after class she resigned herself to finding him, hoping to get rid of the nagging feeling in her mind.
“You’re sulking,” she said flatly.
Elias didn’t look up. “I’m tired.”
Kanra sat beside him anyway, uninvited, and dropped a small bag of candy onto the table. Her face was passively blank as she did.
“You like these,” she said. Not a question.
He blinked at it. “How’d you know?”
“You chew them when you’re hurt. It’s like watching a teething puppy on painkillers.”
A small smile tugged at the corner of Elias’s mouth. He didn’t touch the candy. Not yet.
“I’m having a bad week,” he admitted.
Kanra nodded once. Then leaned back in the chair and added, “If you want, I can say something wildly out of line to distract you.”
That got a laugh. A real one.
Kanra didn’t smile, but her head tilted slightly. “There. Less sulking. Keep the candy. I don’t want it.”
She stood, walking off like nothing happened. But Elias’s eyes lingered on the space she’d left behind.]

In step 1 Yujin's emotionally detached from the neighborhood and nearly everyone in it, with the few exceptions being Francis, Gabriel, and to some extent Baxter.
So at that point in the story, he's still in his “igaf don't talk to me” phase. He'd remain indifferent to Kanra and treat her the same way he does Qiu and Tamarack. Because of the age gap and his pride, Kanra’s usual provocations wouldn't land. To him, she’s just another kid—three years younger and still in elementary school. If she tried to bait him, he’d just raise an eyebrow and give a half-hearted answer before moving on, mentally filing her behavior away with the rest of the annoying things he’s already seen at family events.
Yujin’s been around enough adults and social games to recognize manipulation for what it is. Nothing Kanra says would truly get under his skin—he’s had years of practice shrugging off passive aggression and veiled insults from relatives. Compared to that, Kanra’s needling would almost seem quaint.
For Francis, I imagine he’d be indifferent to Kanra. He’s unapologetically blunt, so if they met he’d answer any of her questions in the most straightforward way possible (as it is the most convenient method of communication for him). He’d directly confront Kanra about her behavior is she ever figured out lying was the easiest way to annoy him and try avoiding her in the future if she doesn’t change her habit of intentionally lying.
Gabriel would 100% try to befriend her. He’d be very curious about the newest resident and he likes getting to know people in general (no matter how difficult it may be). Depending on how she reacts to his social advances, he’d adjust and try a different approach to see what Kanra seems to prefer more.
Francis and Kanra’s dynamic could honestly have the potential to make Kanra frustrated. Cause she cant get through to him! And as much as she likes trying to figure out what makes him tick, shes the one who gets annoyed in the process 😭😭
Oh Gabriel,, youre gonna have one annoying little sister buzzing around If you succeed on befriending her 💔 i hope hes ready for her antics LOL
The irony is that the easiest way for Kanra to learn anything about him would be to just ask directly 😭

I can def see their whole dynamic being hilariously one-sided on Kanra’s end, she’d be trying to play chess with someone who’s playing go fish— and it’d somehow still a loss for her every time.
Okok I just read up on some of Kanra’s interactions w other MCs/OCs
Since one of the ways to capture Kanra’s attention is by being useful to her, rather than directly seeking her out, Gabriel would start to subtly display the depth of his social connections. Mostly through carefully timed conversations and casual mentions, he would demonstrate his ability to open doors for her, offering access to people and opportunities that could be of value.
Gabriel is not trying to win her over as a friend—instead, he’s pursuing a more calculated, mutually beneficial relationship. He’d come to the conclusion (after some careful observation of his own) that Kanra seems to value utility above all else, so he plays to that instinct, showing her that his influence can be leveraged. If he does succeed in winning her over, it’d be made more clear as their dynamic grows that his interest lies in Kanra as an individual, someone who might prove useful in ways he hasn’t fully figured out yet, rather than in any kind of emotional connection.
Overall I think their relationship could turn out super interesting by the time step 2 rolls around!! 😼

For Gabriel, Kanra would slowly learn to respect him because wow, he really did put in the effort to get her on his side. Shes impressed! She plays into his whims but is also studying him as well, her curiosity is piqued.
She believes she can also benefit from him from learning to copy his mannerisms and attitude, because goodness shes not well versed with some subtle nuances at all. So she’d try and imitate what Gabriel does, albeit a bit stiff, because she doesnt know the emotional depth of it so it comes out robotic 😭

Id like to think she gets attached to him because of that and doesnt realise what that feeling is until Opal or another close friend of hers points it out.
“You talk about that boy.. Yujin.. a lot these days.” Opal mentions off-handedly.
“So?”
“You act like he’s your brother.”
Kanra stared at her mother. “What?”
Opal tries to think of a way to explain it to her simply, “Well, you keep on egging him on even though he doesn’t give you a direct response.” Then she pinched Kanra’s cheek, “Which is rude, by the way.”
Kanra let out a soft whine, huffing at her mother, “That boy doesn’t react to it, Mother. Im sure he doesnt take offense.”
Her Mother only sighed, patting her daughters head, “Good thing you don’t have a sibling then, or else this house will be wrecked.” Opal joked, then pulled away to continue cooking dinner.
Kanra stares at her Mother, silently pondering as she set up the table.

Summer of 2011
The smell of charcoal and overcooked burgers hung in the air. Yujin leaned against the porch railing with a paper plate in hand—half a hot dog, untouched, and a sad pile of lettuce someone had the nerve to call a salad. His phone sat face-down on the rail next to him. Too many nosy parents. Too many little kids. Too much noise.
He was just about to check the time again when a shadow fell over him.
"Still haven’t run away, I see," came the voice—high, cool, and unmistakably Kanra.
Yujin didn’t look up. He just stabbed his hot dog with a plastic fork and said, "You’re here again. Should I be flattered or concerned?"
Kanra laughed—a short, pleased sound. "There’s no crime in keeping someone company. I was beginning to think you were glued to that spot. Like an old gargoyle watching the chaos below."
"I’ll have you arrested one way or another," he muttered, tearing a chunk of the hot dog off and chewing before adding, "You’d make a decent gargoyle yourself. You already lurk like one."
"Mm. But I move," she said, circling him to perch on the porch railing beside him like a bird preparing for mischief. "You just… watch. It’s almost admirable. You’re so composed, Yujin. Always unreadable."
He side-eyed her. "Is this your way of telling me I’m boring again?"
Kanra tilted her head. "No. Just hard to figure out."
Yujin gave a noncommittal shrug, eyes flicking back to the yard where Gabriel was stuck talking to someone’s mom and slowly dying inside.
"Everyone else gives me something," Kanra went on, as if they were in the middle of a long conversation. "Tamarack twitches. Qiu argues. Even Mother sighs at me. But you…" She leaned forward slightly, studying him like a bug under glass. "You’re sealed. I should study you. See what happens when something actually startles the unshakable Yujin."
"If that's your research project, you picked a boring subject," Yujin said, absently toying with his fork. "Should’ve gone with Darren. He flinches when the AC kicks in."
"Mm, but you’re the harder challenge," she smiled, legs swinging as she dangled from her seat on the railing. "And I enjoy solving puzzles."
"You’re not actually trying to solve anything, though," Yujin finally glanced over at her with an unimpressed look. "You just like shaking the box to see what rattles."
That gave her a half-second’s pause. Not because he was wrong—but because he said it like he knew it. For once, her words didn’t come right away.
Yujin waited a beat longer, then shrugged again and reached for his plate. "Guess you’re not done studying me after all."
He walked off, slow and casual, like her words hadn’t grazed something deeper. "Let me know when you figure out what you’re hoping to find inside."
Her silence lingered behind him like smoke—thin, clinging—until the breeze scattered it, and he reached Gabriel’s side just in time to pull him from his social dilemma.

Her reflecting on herself because of what Yujin said, feeling something akin to frustration and agitation because he managed to pick apart her actions that she thought she knew. Her having an ego death but also feeling it in a muted way but its there. Its there. But she cant feel it. Yet she knows something has changed.
It gives her a thrill of curiosity.
I think after this scene Kanra would still hang out around Yujin when she can. She’s still blunt, still mean and cold. But something changes with how she interacts with him. Its not soft, nor is it warm, but she respects him a whole lot now.

Hi everyone! i’m finally back for a while and I’m planning to start drawing again so i was wondering—what drawing apps do you guys recommend/use? I’d really appreciate any suggestions!
Up to you if you want to buy it but I use PaintTool SAI Ver1, although they have now come out with ver2 but I haven't tried it. it's a PC/MAC only program though.
I’ll definitely check it out in the future, but for now I’ll just keep it in mind since I’m not really used to drawing on a Mac. I really appreciate the suggestion. Thanks so much!
i use ibispaint!! :DD ive used medibang briefly but the controls are a bit harder to use than ibispaint imo
I’ve loved using Ibis Paint for mobile art for so long, it’s honestly been amazing. I recently got an iPad hoping it would help me level up my art, but to be honest, I still find it way easier to use on my phone. That said, I’ve always found the UI a little tricky and kind of frustrating at times. I still appreciate the suggestion though! <3 (PS your art is amazing but I just don’t think I’m a Ibis paint type of girl unfortunately 💔)

I just use the sketch app that came with my phone (//▽//). I've used Photoshop, Ibis and Illustrator before but I prefer fewer and simple tools so this works for me.
That’s honestly wild, considering how beautiful your art is. I’m always experimenting and trying to figure out my art style, so I need all the features a program can offer. But I think I’ll definitely have to check out Illustrator in the future. I also saw your recent art — great work as always, Ghostie! (o^▽^o)
Haha thank you. Experimenting is good, trying iconic styles definitely helped back when I was figuring out how to color. Its been a long time but Illustrator was more useful when drawing objects instead of people.

I use procreate and ibis. I know you have to pay for procreate, but k like the mechanics of it better than ibis personally, but ibis is also good too so I suggest using that, with a bunch of custom brushes and things like premade patterns and background, so I suggest using ibis paint!
I’m definitely planning to check out Procreate. I’ve heard so many good things about it, and almost all of my art buddies use it too! Quick question though: is it hard to get accustomed to? I’ve heard there are a lot of hidden features that you kind of have to discover on your own. (〒﹏〒)
no it’s not very hard! It’s quite easy once you get the hang of it, and I’ve been able to find easy tutorials online on certain features like symmetry, alpha lock, overlay, etc. since u have friends who us procreate in sure they can help u with hacks and tricks! I’m not sure ab all the hidden features but the ones I have now make the art look good! Just be careful when drawing small instead of drawing large than shrinking it down because it makes your art look pixely, at least in my experience ⊂((・▽・))⊃
im using ibispaint right now but i was using hipaint previously for a long time, you can try that out if you're in a situation where you cant buy procreate cause its basically a fake free one 😭 but its really laggy and closes itself off sometimes depending on the device, i don't recommend it too much honestly but its a good alternative for procreate so yeah
I use ibispaint! although I did use sketchbook(thats literally the name of the app) for a bit, imo it's kinda confusing at first but the brushes they have are literally god tier 🙏
