Hey so halfway into shystel's challenge, I realized I can't draw guys. So here are my mcs as their genderbend version, which probably look like girls or really close to girls. And somehow their names are gender neutral, so they have the same names.
Also, they have the opposite hair styles. So while normal Xipil and Metztli have long hair, they don't here. And Quetzalli, in her normal form, doesn't like her hair long. Her genderbent version likes his hair long.

ALSO, Quetzalli in both genders cannot handle being flirted with very well, and will sometimes faint. Metztli is the kind of person to call someone sweetie platonically, and Xipil is the kind of person who doesn't realize unless you do large gestures.

"... I can't believe you'd give up on me." Khione frustratedly wipes the tears away. She looked distraught, but Cerrus knew better. Tears meant Khione was pissed.
Still, Cerrus couldn't help the guilt filling them. Were they weak? They couldn't bare to look at the ice after they left Khione. It wasn't the same, it never be the same. They thought they'd never see her again. And now here she was, storming back into their life like a whirlwind. "Khione... I understand your anger, but-"
"You don't understand my anger!" Khione shouts, grabbing their collar and pushing them back. They flinch in unison, like Khione herself can't believe she did that. They let go of them just as quickly. "If you did, you'd know that I've never wanted anything more than you, and us, and..." She deflated, trailing off. Khione has always been fiery and righteous and headstrong. This is an odd look for her, like her image has been distorted in a fun house mirror. Cerrus doesn't like his at all.
Despite Khione's words, Cerrus really does understand. They got complacent, got scared. Cerrus can't help but be a coward.
They're both silent for a moment before Cerrus steps forward. Their arms wrap around Khione and it's so familiar. It's I'm sorry I'm not enough and it's you deserve so much better and it's why do I keep hurting you?

Hallelujah. It's our gorgeous black-and-white fanatic! And Yujin's there too, I guess. I know Baxter's supposed to be thriving in California (OL1), but trust me guys, on EVERYONE'S SOUL he'll make an appearance in Step 4 (I'm going insane, GBPatch please hear my prayers — his DLC made me cry).
I don't think I've yapped here about my love for Baxter as a character. I just want this silly and dramatic man to be happy and reconnect with his childhood friends, and know that he's loved and appreciated, because he deserves to have more lasting relationships after all that running away he did in Step 3.
I kid you not when I say that these two have the biggest and FATTEST commitment issues in relationships (at least pre-Step 4) and will therefore have the most agonizing slow-burn arc you'll ever see (they're perfect for each other trust).
MORE LOVE AND APPRECIATION FOR BAXTER 🗣️🗣️🗣️ yeah they’re going back and forth with Yujin not-so-subtly dropping hints, and I imagine Baxter finds it interesting while kind of just nodding along and enjoying the quality time he’s spending with an old friend (Francis is looking at these two with a raised brow, and Gabriel is loudly cheering for them in the background).

There is a new mc, but it's mcverse exclusive. There will be mc x mc, hence the new mc since I don't want Xipil to be alone (unless someone wanted to be with her, have at it).

Honestly, for a demo, the amount of choices and the fact I was noticing things related to choices I did like an hour ago? That's amazing. Solid 8/10 game thus far, I'm excited for the full release

Also, Blythe actually has a light tan skin color. If you wanna know the exact shade, just look at her pinky finger, that's where the overlay didn't cover.
Got bored and edited some cards from a game I used to play a lot before it later got shut down. Which is confusing considering it was doing great, but eh. If you know who these edits are of, or technically the base, you're cool. If not, don't worry. Also this is my second time, I used to do this a lot with the first game. Jude would stare at their hair without blinking everytime he sees them, not saying anything, just STARING, rest depends on what Sins reaction would be 🤔 Fio would be really fascinated by their personality to a point where she might attempt trying to mimick them (and failing ofc 😭) i'm not sure if she'd try to befriend them or just admire from distance though but i think they'd be friends!!

If you have a goal you want to work towards, you’re gonna have to make time to work on that goal. That means you might have to sacrifice other things to spend time on it. If you get a job you probably won’t have as much free time as you’d like. And I will tell you, some days you don’t get a break but that’s just life. The best advice I can give is weigh your options, figure out what’s most important to you, and make the best decision you can.
Kanra’s Step 2 !! Its a bit of a board as well but subxsjjsns idk why I did her step 2 first before step 1 😭😭

Step 2 Kanra got CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) but she still has a long way to go before shes used to the treatment and actively applying it.
Instead of her being blunt and mean like in Step 1, shes more controlling of her emotions and instead masks herself with a more quiet and polite persona. Though.. she still sounds robotic and awkward when she does (and a bit rude too LOL) .
Her friendship with Qiu and Tamarack develops as well, they understand her and her behavior and adapt to it, even as they grow apart. Kanra feels a sort of muted loneliness when she sees the two of them drifting away from each other. In her own way, she tries to get them to bond again. Its a sad sight to see, like a toddler trying to fix something that wasnt their fault.
Kanra also tries to participate at school, knowing it would do her good for her future to learn skills and talents that would benefit her career. And, annoyingly, she gets a few bullies herself. It wasnt so bad at first, until she got injured accidentally on her leg from a confronation.
After that incident, her class started to look out for her more (Its Our Life man im not gonna make this super angsty 😭😭) whenever those bullies come around they redirect Kanra somewhere else to deal with them or get them out of her line of sight.
All in all, Kanra grows, she isnt in full bloom, not yet. But she adapts, she reflects, and she learns. And as time goes by, the thought of being abnormal crosses her mind less and less.

She got scarred by a broken rusted metal fence when she was confronted 🙁 but sadly it was counted as an accident because it wasnt done with malice. Kanra purposely stood in front of the fence because she was annoyed with dealing with them and thought, “what if i do something silly..”
Then she let them push her, and she stumbles back just enough to let it graze her leg 😭
The bullies didnt get jail time BUT they were suspended for a few days so that counts right? 🥹 (i say as i slowly back away)

Hey so halfway into shystel's challenge, I realized I can't draw guys. So here are my mcs as their genderbend version, which probably look like girls or really close to girls. And somehow their names are gender neutral, so they have the same names.
Also, they have the opposite hair styles. So while normal Xipil and Metztli have long hair, they don't here. And Quetzalli, in her normal form, doesn't like her hair long. Her genderbent version likes his hair long.

"You don't understand my anger!" Khione shouts, grabbing their collar and pushing them back. They flinch in unison, like Khione herself can't believe she did that. Khione has always been fiery and righteous and headstrong. This is an odd look for her, like her image has been distorted in a fun house mirror. Cerrus doesn't like his at all.
Despite Khione's words, Cerrus really does understand. They got complacent, got scared. Cerrus can't help but be a coward.

I don't think I've yapped here about my love for Baxter as a character. I just want this silly and dramatic man to be happy and reconnect with his childhood friends, and know that he's loved and appreciated, because he deserves to have more lasting relationships after all that running away he did in Step 3.
I kid you not when I say that these two have the biggest and FATTEST commitment issues in relationships (at least pre-Step 4) and will therefore have the most agonizing slow-burn arc you'll ever see (they're perfect for each other trust).

If you have a goal you want to work towards, you’re gonna have to make time to work on that goal. That means you might have to sacrifice other things to spend time on it. If you get a job you probably won’t have as much free time as you’d like. And I will tell you, some days you don’t get a break but that’s just life. The best advice I can give is weigh your options, figure out what’s most important to you, and make the best decision you can.
Kanra’s Step 2 !! Its a bit of a board as well but subxsjjsns idk why I did her step 2 first before step 1 😭😭

Step 2 Kanra got CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) but she still has a long way to go before shes used to the treatment and actively applying it.
Instead of her being blunt and mean like in Step 1, shes more controlling of her emotions and instead masks herself with a more quiet and polite persona. Though.. she still sounds robotic and awkward when she does (and a bit rude too LOL) .
Her friendship with Qiu and Tamarack develops as well, they understand her and her behavior and adapt to it, even as they grow apart. Kanra feels a sort of muted loneliness when she sees the two of them drifting away from each other. In her own way, she tries to get them to bond again. Its a sad sight to see, like a toddler trying to fix something that wasnt their fault.
Kanra also tries to participate at school, knowing it would do her good for her future to learn skills and talents that would benefit her career. And, annoyingly, she gets a few bullies herself. It wasnt so bad at first, until she got injured accidentally on her leg from a confronation.
After that incident, her class started to look out for her more (Its Our Life man im not gonna make this super angsty 😭😭) whenever those bullies come around they redirect Kanra somewhere else to deal with them or get them out of her line of sight.
All in all, Kanra grows, she isnt in full bloom, not yet. But she adapts, she reflects, and she learns. And as time goes by, the thought of being abnormal crosses her mind less and less.
