I want the full game out already 😭 I love Qui and Tarmarack's personalities and how the character creation and relationship editing work. It just feels a lot smoother, and I'm not uncertain when I will pick it or if I'll miss it because it's just there. I also love how many more speech options there are, and I like the little Baxter egg you hid in there, however much he pissed me off in Beginning and Always. Overall, love this game with all my heart and am making it my life mission to be the first person to download the full version, no matter it's the last thing I do(except I kinda want to play it all too so there's that-)

I really can't wait for the full game, ever since I played our life: beginnings and always, I've been in love with the writing style, the art, and most of all the emotions I can feel within the story. I can make many different choices in the game and decide who I wanna be while also showing my own personality. Its so impressive. the game is still being worked on and there is no confirmed release date please be patient with the developers as making a good game takes alot of time, coding writing art etc. :')
Like the comment below, are you using the Itch app? For some reason that's usually broken and you need to download directly from the webpage. And on the website you should just be able to click download and then extra the file.
I've replayed Our Life: Beginnings and Always MULTIPLE times already and every playthrough of it was always so great to go through purely because of how I love all of the characters and our interactions with them. Well, maybe not Baxter too much (I tend not to like flirty characters that much 💀) but it's fun when he shows up!
The game was great enough as it was already, but now there's a demo for a new installment that is already showing more improvements? Sign me the FUCK up. I swear, this series raises the bar really high for visual novels.

The Age Difference tho 💀 GB Patch have already said that Baxter can only be dated in OL1, and since Darren is older than you, you are unable to date him at all. I think for now the only two dateable characters are Qiu and Tamarack
The demo updated about two and a half months ago! We regularly have expansions and news coming out. But it is a game that's gonna take a long time to be entirely complete.
I have a question, what kind of car does the MC's mom drive?, Is it an SUV or a sedan?, I can't let my imagination work properly if i don't know man, my brain tells me an old Chrysler minivan or a Mercedes sedan but knowing something official would be better
It's possible you need to open more memory for it to run correctly or that a virus scanner has falsely labeled it as dangerous and is closing it out. Checking for potential updates needed on the device sometimes helps. Or you could try making it easier to run by turning off the animations. Unfortunately, randomly shutting down is a device specific problem and I can only guess what might be happening.

I just love this game sooo much. The first game (Our life: beginnings and always) was one of the first visual novels I’ve ever played and it’s what basically got me into playing visual novels. I remember when I first found it and I stayed up all night playing it and kept on replaying it.
But to see that you’ve made a second one warms my heart. I never knew I wanted this but now I know that I need it xD. This games art is so freaking lovely, seriously. And the cozy vibe I get from it just makes me feel so warm and happy inside lol. I also love the fact that there are a lot of options to choose from. I love to replay this game and pick different choices to see how each differs. This has now become one of my most replayed games by far and I’m so proud to stick around on this journey. I've been gone for three mouths and OH MY GOD!! Soooo much has happened. And to think I STILL haven't finished our life new beginnings (I hate having adhd, LOL). I can never focus on one story for too long and end up not playing the game at all for a good few mouths (some times a whole year).
OK so yes, I think theres too many additional options, but I like the progress of the game so far in the demo. I hope that options are cut down to be 2-5 versus being closer to ten because its overwhelming as a play for so many options on screen. I think it would be best if this game took more inspiration from the previous our life game, ( such as colored choices to indicate the tone) and maybe remove some added options from the game (like when you say goodbye to qiu and tama.)
Oh you're so right- Colour indicators that help group the choices is a good idea. You can choose closer to your personality (ex: blue being more shy) while also having that choice variety (From looking away to a stuttered reply- both being shy choices, but different nonetheless).
I think they put so many options in as a way to not only give the player their own unique experience and personality but also to maximize replayability too. With the added options, there are dozens more opportunities and variations in the story than if there were only around 3 like in the previous game. I get that it can seem pretty overwhelming, but I believe the amount of options just truly enhances the experience, making it worth it in the long run.

It's a neat concept! The wide scope of options makes the story itself wishy-washy, all the demo really covers is meeting two kids and going to class. The selling point is the wide array of ways you can make your insert character feel more like you. It's a nice bit of escapism and the art is gorgeous

I'm not sure if you have the most recent one or not. The current demo ends after class has happened, but before you leave the school. The prior demo ended while you were in the classroom, but before class had started. So, in either case it's kind of technically still the first day of school.
But if you do have an older version, you can delete that build entirely (that won't erase save files) and then download the demo again.
Hey! Im having crashing issues on my phone with games I download from Itch and depressingly this is one of them and I wanna play it so bad!!!! The app will suddenly close with no error warning or anything! Its heartbreaking! Does anyone know why this is happening, and any possible fixes? I would literally love you forever if you helped!
You can trying opening up more memory on your phone, turning off the animations in the game's settings, and/or making sure your virus scanner/basic settings aren't strictly monitoring what you run. Sometimes the phone will close out applications that didn't come from the Google Playstore because that's not considered trustworthy.
Wahhhh I'm loving everything so far about this game! ! ! Definitely excited for its release and DLCs XD The art, music, setting, vibe and all are perfectttt! And the surprise I had when that one character showed uppp gahh my first thought was "they look familiar." While playing as well I just get this warm, fluffy feeling as I did in OL:B&A. where are the game files? I see people commenting like they're actually able to download the newest update, but there straight up aren't any files for me to select TO download... I've updated itch, I've tried the app AND browser site, many times since the update dropped, and the files just don't exist for me. There isn't anything in the dropdown menu, and clicking install anyway just leads to a "Cannot read property 'build' of undefined" error... it worked just fine prior to the latest update, but has not Existed since the last one came out. is this a glitch with the platform? or what is preventing me from being able to download? I have never run into this issue on any other game, so the fact it's happening on the sequel for my favorite visual novel is genuinely upsetting.
I'm sorry, sometimes it doesn't work well with the Itch app but if you can't access files that are there even on the normal website, we probably aren't able to change it on our end. Maybe try uninstalling/deleting the build entirely before downloading it to see if a fresh start will make the device register the build. Or you could try downloading the demo from Steam instead.
this is the sweetest game i've played in forever. the art is gorgeous and the characters are all so unique and so, so lovable -- i don't think i can wait any longer for the release! take all my money gbpatch!!
