I thought I'd share my own little character! I love to create characters and stories (I have too many unfinished google docs stories dating back to middle school like 4-5 years ago lmao) I've already made several demo characters but here's my latest! I probably won't end up playing as this character but I loved creating him! In the final game I'll probably play a character a bit more similar to me. This is Leon Aoki, your local conundrum. He thinks of himself as strange as he gets older but doesn't really mind it. In his teenage years he goes by he/him and they/them pronouns. He's a bit like flowing water, even though he's quite anxious and can get quite in his head. The only thing that stops him from truly being confident is large crowds, which includes being at school. As he gets older he begins to become quite quiet, rarely ever talking unless to Qiu or Tamarack. This bleeds into outside of school too. He's not mute or anything, he just never really has much to say and you can never quite tell what he's thinking or if what he's thinking is even good. He has quite stoic demeanors as he grows up. I really like him. This might not be very good since I came up with him in like five minutes, but still. Also, he still has a penchant for getting injured but as he gets older, it's less purposeful since he's no longer really a daredevil and more him just being clumsy or not paying attention.
Just some more context since I didn't add much personality- He loves to be creative so he bakes and makes a lot of art in his free time. He can bake but he's horrible at cooking. He hates active things, not because he sucks at them but because he sweats, and he has a chart of how many times he's fallen down the stairs. Not for any particular reason, just to see if he makes it to 100 times before breaking a bone or before he graduates high school. Yeah, I don't know why I added that but it just felt like him. He also loves animations and wants to be a famous author or animator one day. He'd even settle for voice actor. He can also be bitingly sassy when you aren't expecting it. On purpose and on accident.
I'm very dyslexic and this is my first time every trying something like this but i saw the comments and thought it would be fun c: so meet this little fella some more things about him just for fun
he acts all ruff and rugged when in reality he's a big scaredy cat he
he thinks he's too old for cartoons but his mum knows he likes them so she puts them on "for herself" and every time he sits there pretending to read a book
he also feels like he needs to be "the adult" when he's with kids his own age
also the book he pretends to read is one of the Beast Quest books cos his mum saw him pretending to read frankenstein and made him take it back to the library
that's it i think i got a little carried away but it was fun making this little guy also grate game
god he'd be that one annoying new yorker who refuses to eat pizza unless its new york style.... or something like that, also he'd rage at video games trust 🙏🙏🙏
"ayyyy what ya towkin about. i aint cringe and my words aint no baby words. you dont gotta cradle nothin" he says in a even thicker much faker brooklyn accent (he is in fact not from new york he just thinks it makes him look cooler)
that's cool I've seen you around and i think so to :D tho Cole is the kind of kid to but heads then have whatever he planed blow up in his face 2 seconds after. i also like your art
for step 1 its failing, he does not want to "fail" because it would ruin his future in his mind. He once started bawling his eyes out because he got a 95 on a writing assignment
for step 2 its not getting his motivation back, hes afraid to grow up now because he feels hes not capable of doing anything.

i do not mean to be rude, but it takes very long to code, write, draw the sprites & assets, ect.. working on a game is a hard task. also, it's a demo, it's meant to be short. there is a lot more on the way, as well. not soon, but still.
Well the developer can't really help that, their not the one killing people in your country. They could just not have any inclusion at all, point is, It Is Not Their Fault. They can't control the government.

As someone who spent money on dlc's, supported them on Patreon and played their games as a way to escape from everything going on around me, this isn't exactly something I was happy about. I'm sad, angry and disappointed, that's it
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but many other languages use the word 'Dedushka'. A word shouldn't affect your thoughts on a game, maybe you should stop associating things with other things that shouldn't be, and even isn't, associated with.
I understand you're going through a horrific things right now, but please, separate words and the real world. It is not bad to use a word that means 'Granddad'.
To be fair..... normal People don't have anything to do with the War ....the ones Leading Either of the countries are to blame....i just pray For Everyone's safety

Not much has change about her appearance since step 1, since she's always getting into some kind of trouble. And she's still just as obsessed with medieval stuff!
the update was great!! it really helped me flesh out Lilian..or should i say..LIAM! Ive been slowly deciding on whether or not Liam would be trans or not since his whole character arc is going from a girl who knows what she wants and what she is to a shell of their former self trying to figure out who they are <3 and if you didnt notice in the art we both have fingerless gloves lol my head canon is that qiu gave them to liam just like my irl friend gave me mine

When she was a kitten she used to be super loving, but when she was... depraved from the ability to become a mother she became sassy (and I'm sure pretty much hates me and my family) I'll call the OC Neelai something, so leave me some suggestions if you'd like to!
hii !! fellow brazilian here, and as far as i am aware, "vovó" and vovô" are the only correct spellings of the words in portuguese, so the in-game versions are likely to be misspellings. hope this helped !! <3
