Btw, my character is called Jay, they go by he, they, she pronouns. She identifies as genderfluid and doesn't care about what pronouns you use for them, but they do have a ranking of the three pronouns he uses (1st- they, 2nd-he, 3rd-she), they are also trans. He has dyed blond hair. She is kind and outgoing, but has difficulty with crowds and dealing with noises. He loves music, writing, acting and singing. They are bad at math and more sciencesy subjects. Jay is my self-insert OC, they are what I'm hoping to become.
(Also please forgive my lack of shading, I'm not really an artist and I did this on my phone with me finger lol)
I need to run this game as Administrator on windows, otherwise it crashes immediately.
Also, it's amazing. The only 'problem' (which is very minor) is that sometimes there are dialogue that seems more directed at me, the player, than the character. For example, when selecting a drink at the diner- if I choose a milkshake, Mom says it'd be hypocritical to say no because of what they ordered. I don't think a ten year old would care or understand that, and telling me, the player, doesn't add anything and only takes me out of the moment.
Similarly, describing what characters are wearing when I can see them should just not be there.
Otherwise, amazing writing. I love the art style and I can't believe how much writing has been done that a lot of players will never see. This project just seeps of love, passion and a clear vision. I can't wait to play the rest!

So, I just wanted to express my feelings on here. I am really waiting for the release of the game. I played the Our Life game, and I am going to be honest with you, I didn't like Cove at all, and talked to him only if I had to, meanwhile pursuing romantical relationships with Derek. Because of that I missed a lot of content, and I think I didn't get the best experience out of the game. However, when I started the demo of Our Life Now and Forever, I fell in love with it, since the atmosphere and the characters are resonating more with me than in the previous game from the same developers. Also, I would like to point out, how giving players the choice between two characters, Qiu and Tamarak, improves the experience from the game. I would like to persuade romantical relationships with Qiu, but I would also like to be friends with Tamarak, and I enjoy that I can do so in the game. And for last words, I would like to say thank you to GB Patch for making those games, and creating your own universe, starting from XOXO droplets, and continuing with another well-made game, Our Life Now and Forever.

my lil adrogynous trans dude kel!!! i like to headcannon him as the 'charming but internally sweet gentle guy' lmaooo.. hes quite popular in school, more so then qiu ever since they closed off hehe
also him in step 1!!! he was a charmin gal who hated authority figures (but abided by the rules any ways to hide that) and despised her mother, and the constant moves made her quite pessimistic but she hid that all behind a slick exterior... except for ren, she hated ren with a burning passion
(sorry for the rant, i love this lil guy soooo much its not even that funny anymore... i love him more than my sona....)
Idk, I just wanted to participate in the cheapcoconutjam template collab since no one has done it yet. (Using my MC from step 2 because I like the way he looks in this step)
I remember someone saying that he was going to put his MC in the bottom, This one between my MC and the other one (if that's the one you're talking about)
I believe no need to, I'm pretty sure step 1 had only minor changes/updates , it's mainly step 2 that changed, which should (but not certain) be updated again this month
