Yea, I was so fond of visual novels before, but now I have to choose really, REALLY carefully which I would try because I probably won't enjoy them like I used to. Both good and bad at the same time haha
on relation to the previous post I'm doing a being an asshole run and it's surprisingly hard to, I don't know if it's just me but I can't seem to find the right answers
This game is so adorable, specially the interactions with Qiu.. :'( I'm probably gonna go into a bit of a rant but I NEED to express my love for Qiu's character,, so like, ever since I played the game for the first time I've been fond of his character. Like, when I first played the game I didn't have my hopes high for it, I literally installed it because it appeared so much in vns category that I decided to give it a try with the expectations of me not liking the game (it happens to me with everything idk why) and as I started playing it I just loved the game immediately and more when Qiu appeared. I like his development throughout the different steps and I think it's very well written so far, to the point that it's easy to grow fond of the character and even relate to it if you're going through smth similar. SO LIKE that's kinda besides the point, I played the game again yesterday AND I saw smn comment about choosing to fall in the wheels moment so I wanted to see what happened if I chose that (I literally had to take like five breaks from playing because I literally cannot choose to make my MC do something wrong without feeling the extreme embarrasment of it, like it even happens to me with movies and all that LOL) so like I tried it and omg it was so ADORABLE, like how he literally doesn't care about winning or getting his bandana bloody just to take care of the MC. I CANNOT WITH SUCH CUTENESS. OH AND STEP 2 QIU do NOT get me started omg they're literally me I love them so much I'll bake them and eat them on a BBQ
but anyways, I wanna meet more Qiu enjoyers that's why I'm posting this omg hi pls relate
I have to mention that god damn all my life playing a bunch of visual novels, otome games (just so I can romance those female characters), reading all that novels, manga, watching movies, animes,... I only yearn for female characters or non-binary. Even my original intention of playing Our Life was for that reason.
But childhood Qiu quickly becomes the very exception :) 💕
(And yes I played the game without reading half of the introduce... I can't resist the powerful "chose your pronouns" option even one sec.)

so i think i put more bandages on my MC and then when my MC got to school Qiu said like "you have more bandages then you did yesterday right?" or something like that i don't fully remember. i was kinda....shocked. even though its probably not a big deal my brain works weirdly.

I love his step 3 design and facts, such a very dimensionalized (made up word bc I forgot the world I’m thinking of and I don’t feel like looking it up and ik it’s not proper English but who cares-) character! Makes me want to start working on Haruki and Maeve’s step 3 (ik I won’t I’ll procrastinate)
nah man theres like,, lots of alternatives if you wanna have art of your ocs (like picrew, dress up games, etc) and even then, there are tons of artists who will take different types of currency if you don't have money irl.
in game currency can work just as well! (see Royale High where you can just farm diamonds and artists can accept that as payment for comms in their subreddit) theres a lot! and yes it might be time consuming but its better than feeding AI art of the artists or using AI to create art.
(also also!! theres the off chance where artists will draw your characters if they accept requests! kinda hard to find but they do sometimes accept! :D)
I made an account just so I can comment on this game, I was never really into vis novels but this demo has got me in a chokehold, if you ever port this game to switch or something I would pay more than the usual 20 dollars for an indie game like this, actual peak.
Hi! Well, I'm really interested in the game, I believe it's the best game I've ever played in my life! But not everything is perfect. It would be really great if it had support in Brazilian Portuguese, but aside from that, the game is amazing!

Heres Liam's step 3 design! and some facts about him...
He has a perfect poker face from not smiling for years (can only be broken by the most STUPID dad jokes ever)
He has a very silly and teasing personality and has taken a liking to public speaking
He's still very organized like in step one but is more childish
He follows the flow and doesnt care for routine
He uses comedy to deal with his feelings (the more upset he is the more blunt and sarcastic his humor is)
He works part time at a daycare
Has a "inspiration" board (its just filled with a bunch of pictures of clowns)
He got his scar from a fight, that fight made him snap out of his depression and get his life together
He hangs his flannel on his wall and his old bow
He still refuses to wear his glasses
He's friends with a bunch of freshmen (he loves being a mentor figure)
He sees tamarack as his family and qiu as his lover
He often teases tamarack and qiu
He's usually always sunburnt no matter the season
i adore him even more than before omg he's so silly
