Hey everyone! I'm Chanelboom, and I created this second account to have more open and casual conversations, while my original account is focused solely on feedback. After being inspired by Ramu's idea of drawing others' MCs, I thought it would be a great way to practice and expand my techniques. Until now, I've mostly focused on drawing my own characters, so I'm excited to step out of my comfort zone and work on yours!
I’d love to kindly ask you all if I could draw your MCs, as it would bring me great joy. So please claim your spot! For this drawing, I’ll only be doing your Step 2 characters. You can also choose your desired expression if you’d like!
Step 2 Maeve design (i changed her old one cuz i didn't like it), still totally fleshing out her charachter tho! If u choose to draw her can she be number 7? she's shy so her facial expression is probably blushing with a nervous pout ;3

EDIT: After careful consideration, I've decided that she’s best suited for spot number 6! I took the expression into account and feel that it aligns perfectly with this position.

I started by sketching out the scene, It's a cafeteria table like The Diner Table. I think I can fit 6-7 (maximum) characters on the table.
Update #2
I finished the table setting in the diner, It's simpler but does the job well. I'll start making the positions of the character bases (you can still just use the scenery and draw your character in the position you want)

i think the major reasoning is that we all have a very prominent love for the same thing so we always have things in common to talk about, everyone being somewhat around the same age group also helps with that
I don't like drawing backgrounds. I'm bad at drawing bodies. I didn't have the will to draw another person. But he's a ginger/redhead so it's okay. (I'm jking)
I'm not gonna lie, everyone here seems so connected and close and I feel kinda out of the loop ( ･ั﹏･ั). I guess I'm just crazy bad at interacting with ppl irl and online. Everyone here is also so talented. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

i fell in love with the ambience and tone and diversity of major characters, it feels really natural and not forced. what i love about N&F is the HUGE variety of dialogue options. i usually get frustrated by visual novels with barely any variety or flavour in dialogue options but the devs really ate with the dialogue. whoever is reading this, have a nice day!
Which flower reminds you of them at each step? For example, sunflowers remind me of step 1 Tama, daisies remind me of step 2 Qiu, and lavender reminds me of step 3 Qiu :D
okay so, step 1 tammy reminds me of a Coreopsis and a crocus vernus because of their meanings; always cheerful (both crocus vernus and coreopsis) /love at first sight (coreopsis). step 1 qiu reminds me of a crown’s imperial because of their colour scheme and their meaning; power and majesty/pride of birth. but also bird of paradise flowers because, y’know the drill, meanings. it represents liberty, magnificence, good perspective, joyfulness; faithfulness
step 2 tammy reminds me of dahlias because one, it’s a pretty flower, and once again the meaning !! it represents elegance and dignity but also abundance and instability. she also reminds me of a red daisy (beauty unknown to the possessor) ‘cause she seems kind of self conscious about her looks and just overall self 🙁🙁 step 2 qiu might remind me of a bog-rosemary which the meaning is ‘bound by fate; “will you help me?”’ considering they’re figuring themself out and all, but also a jacob’s ladder/greek valerian, because it is my favourite flower, and its meaning is ‘rupture’ which i think can allude to the action of qiu cutting off most of the people around them; a rupture in their relationships/circle.
for step 3 tams i think pink lilies would fit because pink lilies are pretty like her but they also stand for love, as well as femininity and adoration. Which fits tammy well, methinks. for step 3 qiu i think dandelions seem fit, one of the meanings is ‘overcoming hardships’ which personally is a perfect way to reference the difference in knowing their identity as of now and back in step 2.
UGHHHH SORRY FOR THIS LONG ASS YAP SESSION 💔💔 they are my babies and i love them so very much 🙁🙁💗💗 i could go on and on abt this bcs of the many flowers and their meanings but i’ll just stop here for the better😞😞

Lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness, which I think would suit Autumn well, also purple goes well with their vibe in step 3, heh.

Crown imperial... Oh damn, I know what you're trying to say haha, our Qiu really is everyone's prince back then 🤭 But bird of paradise is just perfect for step 1 Qiu, don't you think?

Seeing the comments gave me an idea to tell some things about my OL2 MC (Leonard).
(Step 1 Leonard)
(Step 2 Leonard - Hair down)
(Step 2 Leonard - Hair up)
A few things about Leonard:
I haven't thought of a good last name for him yet...
His appearance and name were inspired by another original character of mine.
He has russian heritage on his father's side (His father is russian).
He feels sad about not knowing his own father.
He has a huge crush on Tamarack.
He has several moles on his body.
His favorite drink is Root Beer.
Despite not really liking school, he is among the top 10 in the class.
In my Lore he was present for most, or all, of the OL1 Step 1 events before moving to Washington (still deciding).
He returns to Sunset Bird in Step 3 of OL1, just to visit the city.
Elizabeth was his closest friend in OL1 Step 1.
He is a good artist, preferring to paint in oil on canvas.
Baxter is his second closest friend in OL2 (Qiu is the first).
He cut his hair short and dyed it black at age 16.
He began studying russian at the age of 12 out of curiosity about his russian heritage.
He prefers skateboarding because he thinks it's cool.
At first he used bandages because he thought they were cool, later he used them for some injuries he got.
During the Wheels moment he fell during the race and injured his left hand, earning a scar.
Despite being hyperactive most of the time, he sometimes gets a little nervous around Tamarack.
He wears different earrings in step 2 because he ended up losing his left earring and so decided to put another one in its place.
In Step 2 of OL2 he tries to make Qiu and Tamarack become friends again because he doesn't want things to change in their trio.
He doesn't like change, he wants things to be the way they've always been. Adventuring in the woods with Tamarack, going out on the town with the boys' club. But at some point he will have to face it and learn that things change.
For my mc... yeah i dunno she hates bitterness but white chocolate is too sweet for her and for the other side well she like crunchiness + she doesnt appreciate mintyness from food + strawberry tastes weird in chocolate for her lol
clover got his nickname when he was around 7 when he found out that clovers (the plant) are also called trefoil, he was so proud of himself for learning that, he decided that will be his nickname. also fun fact when i was making Clover at first i wanted his nickname to be trifoilium (the scientific name for clovers) but i decided trefoil sounds better
I cannot wait for more, these games are so amazing, but must be hell to code. I loved Cove, I love Qui so far, and my best boy was here for a bit too(Baxter)
Sometimes Leonard asks Tamarack to pose for him to draw her because he finds her photogenic (It's not like he had a crush on her and wanted to draw her because he thought she was pretty-)
Summer, fall, winter, spring, seasons pass me by. Spring brings me a tale about the gentleness of life, Summer's mind wanders to the endless tragedy of love, and Winter embraces me with its tender cold wind.
...but what about Fall?
For a long, long time, Fall was just a season to me, nothing more, nothing less. There was no tale of Fall sinking down my heart, there was no hopeless love during Fall engraved in my mind, and there was never a desperate longing for the Fall I couldn't experience.
But then, what about that Fall, the Fall after your playful grin danced along with my heart?
Oh, dear Autumn, shall Fall never be Fall again. I long for Fall, just like how I long for the last snowflake. My heart sinks at the thought of it as if there was that Summer love story. That one day, I found out the world was just as gentle as Spring.
I know I'm supposed to be retired but I NEED TO KNOW was I fooled all this time?!
Was the middle house mr. Holden's all along?!either that or the houses are the same on the other side, but that also causes trouble because of the texture on the mc's door space thingy, I'm too flummoxed to remember the word

Thinking it further the Holden condo doesn't have a second floor but you can still see the two same houses on the second picture meaning were seeing it on the opposite side while being on mc's condo so I'm just confused

They're wearing an oversized (light brown) turtle neck sweater and ripped (dark blue) jeans with laced (black) ankle boots
However if you want me to draw Ellender it could take a few days but I'll do it.

i fell in love with the ambience and tone and diversity of major characters, it feels really natural and not forced. what i love about N&F is the HUGE variety of dialogue options. i usually get frustrated by visual novels with barely any variety or flavour in dialogue options but the devs really ate with the dialogue. whoever is reading this, have a nice day!

Which flower reminds you of them at each step? For example, sunflowers remind me of step 1 Tama, daisies remind me of step 2 Qiu, and lavender reminds me of step 3 Qiu :D

okay so, step 1 tammy reminds me of a Coreopsis and a crocus vernus because of their meanings; always cheerful (both crocus vernus and coreopsis) /love at first sight (coreopsis). step 1 qiu reminds me of a crown’s imperial because of their colour scheme and their meaning; power and majesty/pride of birth. but also bird of paradise flowers because, y’know the drill, meanings. it represents liberty, magnificence, good perspective, joyfulness; faithfulness
step 2 tammy reminds me of dahlias because one, it’s a pretty flower, and once again the meaning !! it represents elegance and dignity but also abundance and instability. she also reminds me of a red daisy (beauty unknown to the possessor) ‘cause she seems kind of self conscious about her looks and just overall self 🙁🙁 step 2 qiu might remind me of a bog-rosemary which the meaning is ‘bound by fate; “will you help me?”’ considering they’re figuring themself out and all, but also a jacob’s ladder/greek valerian, because it is my favourite flower, and its meaning is ‘rupture’ which i think can allude to the action of qiu cutting off most of the people around them; a rupture in their relationships/circle.
for step 3 tams i think pink lilies would fit because pink lilies are pretty like her but they also stand for love, as well as femininity and adoration. Which fits tammy well, methinks. for step 3 qiu i think dandelions seem fit, one of the meanings is ‘overcoming hardships’ which personally is a perfect way to reference the difference in knowing their identity as of now and back in step 2.

Seeing the comments gave me an idea to tell some things about my OL2 MC (Leonard).
(Step 1 Leonard)

A few things about Leonard:
I haven't thought of a good last name for him yet...
His appearance and name were inspired by another original character of mine.
He has russian heritage on his father's side (His father is russian).
He feels sad about not knowing his own father.
He has a huge crush on Tamarack.
He has several moles on his body.
His favorite drink is Root Beer.
Despite not really liking school, he is among the top 10 in the class.
In my Lore he was present for most, or all, of the OL1 Step 1 events before moving to Washington (still deciding).
He returns to Sunset Bird in Step 3 of OL1, just to visit the city.
Elizabeth was his closest friend in OL1 Step 1.
He is a good artist, preferring to paint in oil on canvas.
Baxter is his second closest friend in OL2 (Qiu is the first).
He cut his hair short and dyed it black at age 16.
He began studying russian at the age of 12 out of curiosity about his russian heritage.
He prefers skateboarding because he thinks it's cool.
At first he used bandages because he thought they were cool, later he used them for some injuries he got.
During the Wheels moment he fell during the race and injured his left hand, earning a scar.
Despite being hyperactive most of the time, he sometimes gets a little nervous around Tamarack.
He wears different earrings in step 2 because he ended up losing his left earring and so decided to put another one in its place.
In Step 2 of OL2 he tries to make Qiu and Tamarack become friends again because he doesn't want things to change in their trio.
He doesn't like change, he wants things to be the way they've always been. Adventuring in the woods with Tamarack, going out on the town with the boys' club. But at some point he will have to face it and learn that things change.

-he's realy sad that he's fatherless
-he loves to draw and do math
- he used to live in Nevada before moving to oregon, and sometimes he goes back there for summer vacation with his mom

in step 2 Clover is non ninary and uses they/him pronounce
they dyed the back side of their hair cranberry so strangers won't think their adopted
they got their right ear pierced
they were diagnosed with insomnia in 2013 (a year before step 2)
they went through the rebelious "i hate my parent" phase during step 2
aww their adorable 🥰 (ps is there any reason why trefoil is their nickname? Did they chose it or did the name just happen?)
clover got his nickname when he was around 7 when he found out that clovers (the plant) are also called trefoil, he was so proud of himself for learning that, he decided that will be his nickname. also fun fact when i was making Clover at first i wanted his nickname to be trifoilium (the scientific name for clovers) but i decided trefoil sounds better
