Runie basically finds a game cartridge (that was not left by his mom) and plays it. After a while the game begins to show parts of his life and his family and he gets creeped out. There is an antagonist in this story, obviously, but I didnt really know how to incorporate it into the story(?) but Runie gets kidnapped and very bad stuff happens to him (Its called the Rebirthing process in the series)

I haven’t read the series but what I do know is that the children share the traits of their godly parents so I’m gonna give this a shot.
Bacon would probably be the son of Ares given his physical attributes. He doesn’t seek out fights but will protect those he loves at all cost. Although, as a side note, I know it doesn’t fit him at all, but would be hilarious if his parent was Aphrodite.
Kathryne’s parent would likely be Athena since she’s incredibly smart and very logical. Although, I’m not sure if he’s in PJO but Hypnos might also be a good fit since he’s associated with sleep and KitKat struggles with insomnia.
I DIDNT SEE THE APHRODITE OPTION COMING FOR BACON LMAO also Athena for Kathryne makes so much sense!! and Hypnos is in PJO too his children were mentioned to sleep all the time and travel around in dreams i think, it would be kind of bittersweet if Kathryne was his child due to her condition ☹️
Yeah, Bacon as a son of Aphrodite definitely doesn’t work, but it’s funny to think about as a joke. Although after your explanation, I think I would choose Hypnos for KitKat, mainly because she’s really unlucky so not being able to sleep in a family of dreamers fits perfectly.

Good morning, or perhaps good evening to you all. I got a random question for you. What language or languages does your MC speak? You can choose any or all steps for this.
In step 1, Kathryne only speaks German and Kalaallisut (primary language in Greenland) and only knows a few words in English. By step 2 she speaks broken English and is fluent by step 3. Bacon only knows English and a couple German words he learned from KitKat.
yay for kitkat for becoming fluent in step 3! My MC Blythe can speak English and (an asian language that im not gonna tell because i might accidentally dox myself) pretty well. But she also wants to learn Turkish and Filipino too because some of her friends are from there lol
In step 1, Kojo speaks English, Korean, and a bit of Mexican Spanish. By step 2, he has added Greek, Mandarin/Chinese, and German! In step 3 he learns Tagalog, French and Italian. He still knows how to speak and read Mexican Spanish, but sometimes he forgets words or his brain just shortcuts when writing 💔💔💔 in step 4 he doesn't learn any new languages 😞
Yu-ming speaks Chinese and English in step 1, but even after already living in the states for 3 years and learning English before moving, she still sometimes forgets simple words like 'microwave' or 'waterbottle' (happens to me but w/ dutch 😞 sigh being bilingual is a blessing and a curse) In step 2 she speaks English better, and has started to learn German for Tammy. In step 3 and 4 it stays like that. Unlike Kojo, Yuming has no desire to learn every language in the world.
(Perhaps they both know Dutch too cuz yeah, but probs not.)
Jude speaks English, Japanese, Spanish, German and Chinese a little!! he's good at learning languages and likes it very much so he spends his free time with it often, he is most fluent in Japanese since he used to live there and worst at Chinese but he wants to learn it for Qiu so he tries still
Fio just speaks English fluently but she speaks Italian at A2 level and knows a few German words too (for Tamarack ofc). She doesn't have a separate want to learn new languages and she learns Italian just because she's Italian so she feels like she has to know it (even though she never lived or went there) but gives up a little quickly 😔
In step 1 Leonard only spoke English and a few words in Russian (he was still studying)
By stage 2 Leonard is already fluent in Russian and generally speaks more in that language than in English, as well as knowing a little German and Chinese through Tamarack and Qiu
In future steps he doesn't change much in languages other than learning German and Chinese better.
Leonard decided to learn Russian because he found out that his father was Russian, so he wanted to learn his father's language... Maybe one day he'll meet him.
Mari would know English and French fluently, but force herself to learn Hindi because she feels guilty abt not knowing her home language despite being shit at it 😞
Kel would be both fluent in Chinese and English, though Chinese would be his home language
Elias would know English, but be able to write German before being fully fluent in step 3
In step 1, Gin mainly speaks english but he's trying to learn japanese, german and mandarin. Since he's a quick learner and likes learning new things, he gets the hang of them pretty easily, already speaking japanese fluently by step 2, german and mandarin not so much, since he got bored of them. In step 3 he already knows english, japanese, german and mandarin, starting to learn some others like, spanish, french and russian.
Oh! That's such a Fun question!! MianMian is fluent in Mandarin(her home language); English and some words in Turkish!! by Step 1 since her old school.
In Step 2; she starts to learn some German(for my girl Tamarack🩷) and Russian; here, she's already fluent in Turkish too.
In Step 3 she becomes fluent in German and Russian, then she begins to learn Korean and starts to get interested in Tagalog Filipino too.
In Step 4, she likes to mix words in diferent languages to play with her friends (usually Korean+Filipino Tagalog+Mandarin); she likes to study diferent kinds of languages, but doesn't learn more in this step.
Okay so Runie ORIGINALLY came from the Philippines but moved to the US when he was almost a year old.
He’s obviously fluent in both Tagalog and English, but also in other dialects of the Philippines as well like Cebuano, Ilocano, and Waray (considering his family came from the three different islands there. Yes they are a BIG family.)
He learns German from Tammy, and speaks only a bit of Spanish, Chinese, and Swahili because hes been friends with Sonia, Qinru, and Damian for a long time :3
Though the language that hes put the most passion in learning is sign language. Its mostly because he wanted to talk to Damian whenever hes non-verbal and also because he thinks its a challenge to learn which he loves!
LOL it is kind of similar. Mostly Tagalog and Cebuano. But when youre in a big family where all 4 of them are spoken I think youd be a bit fluent in it (Thats basically me with Cebuano)

Rafaic in Step 1 mostly speaks English and Swedish, but in Step 2 she knows conversational Arabic (Interest in Moroccan heritage) and is steadily learning German (we all know why). By Step 3 I imagine due to pure interest she learns many languages like Spanish and Irish Gaelic (which are my two familial tongues!) as well as Telugu, Faroese and Mandarin. I imagine by the end of Step 3 and into a potential Step 4, she tries to pick up Portuguese and Romanian.
Throughout her entire lifespan, however, she exclusively swears in Latin :>
Sylvan is swedish american but she doesn't know a lick of swedish (mainly because she was born and raised in a place where everyone speaks mainly english) and she's too busy focusing on becoming a fashion designer to actually learn other languages, plus it's already hard for her to understand school subjects so you would think learning a new language is 100x harder for her
Just like Sylvan, Hiro is also born and raised in a place where everyone mainly speaks english so he only knew english in step 1, also I would've liked to think that he's not really interested in learning a language unless he's really interested in it. Though in step 2 he learned german for Tammy (another reasson is that he's really curious on what Tammy says in german sometimes)

Just like for towards Maeve, Blythe sees anyone she likes as "cute", and MianMian is NO exception 😌. Blythe sees MianMian as like a baby sister and wants to protect her with all her might! Buttt.. MianMian's hair reminds Blythe of her old ex-friends who she does NOT like (They used to wear twintails) so she sometimes feels uneasy with her 😓😓 But she does like MianMian a lot!!
THAT'S SO CUTE- But!- i feel like i could do some angst with It...😇 LIKE, MianMian is not that expressive but she's very perceptive, so, when Blythe sometimes feel uneasy around MianMian, she'll probably think It's because she was misinterpreted (cuz of her inexpressive face most of the time) and start to feel guilty, also, flashbacks of when the kids of her old school used to call her mean things(she's insecure of that) about it and excluding her.😰😰

I think Sylvan and MianMian would really get along! Sylvan stuggles with academics so I think MianMian would try and help her study and understand things she's confused/unsure about. Also I can imagine Sylvan sneaking her sweets as a way to show gratittude, knowing about her sweet tooth! Also I think they could help each other grow like MianMian learning to open up more, and Sylvan finding better ways to manage her studies without losing sight of her dream. Also like Sylvan, MianMian seems to be really fashionable (love the fit girl) so Sylvan could make some clothes or accesories for her!!
For Hiro.. I think it could take a while for either of them to talk to each other but once they do warm up to each other it'll just be.. WAIT I THINJ THEIR FRIENDSHIP COULD BE SO CUTE! like Hiro wordlessly offering MianMian her favorite sweets when she seems down, or MianMian quietly standing by his side when he doesn’t want to face the world. Runie - Step 1 - Puppy crush, thinks shes absolutely adorable and basically wanted to be the knight to her princess even of hes like.. passed out most of the time. Very childish crushes!
Step 2- Close friends, he grew out of his crush phase and started seeing her as like, a really good friend. Sometimes people think they still have a crush on her but Runie is just very affectionate, especially to her and their other close friends. He’s still very loving towards her and sees her as someone he wants in his life.
Step 3- Platonic Adoration, they reallyy realllyyyy love her. You know that thing people say that “Friends dont look at friends like that.” Runie thinks that statement is crazy, because, he loves his friends! Runie loves Mianmian like its easy, he likes spending time with her, being with her. Shes made a space inside his heart for her basically.
Step 4- same thing as step 3 but he accepts the fact that Mianmian is just really someone special. His heart already saved her a spot inside it, and he Runie thinks that people who say that what he feels isnt platonic, is crazy! How couldnt he not love Mianmian when shes made herself a special piece in his life? Thats his buddy! >:/
They grow a bit distant after step 2 but id like to think that they grew closer at school whenever they have classes together :3
MianMian would totally be very close to him on Step 1, as they're this close and Runie seems to understand and like her company, she'll even think of him as her best friend, the one she'll always have a soft spot for, being more gentle with him and actively trying to show him she cares.
For Step 2, MianMian understands him well, she knows how affectionate Runie is, and she reciprocates it easier than in step 1, she'll hug, hold hands, let Runie sleep on her shoulder or lap, she touches very few people, Runie is one of the people she doesn't have this limit, she apreciates him very much and knows she wants him to be in her life forever!
In Step 3, MianMian will always have a spot for him in her heart, like, Runie is one of the most important people on her life, she doesn't let much people see how vulnerable she is, she hates this intimacy, but she doesn't mind If It's him, because she knows she trusts him the most.
Step 4 is like Step 3, but now, MianMian is more open with her feelings, now, she initiates contact too, doesn't wait for him to do so as when she was younger, MianMian now feels completely secure to do so, because, she knows deeply in her heart, she loves Runie just the way he says he loves her too, how could she not love her friends? They're very lovable, especially Runie.
I’ll try not to make this too long because I have a hard time condensing my thought. She and Bacon may or may not get along, at least in step 1. Bacon is a really happy and friendly person, but can be rather loud and hyperactive and has a hard time reading social cues. So interacting with Bacon in step 1 can be very exhausting at times, he does calm down a bit in step 2 though. So, I’m not sure how MianMian would react to Bacon. They could probably bond over their mutual sweet tooth though.
Although I think Kathryne would have a major crush on MianMian as she loves cute girls, I don’t think the two would get along in the beginning to be honest. KitKat doesn’t speak English in step 1. She’s also afraid of new people, constantly cold and tired, and brutally honest. All this made her appear to be very unfriendly and rude. The two could only be friends if MianMian actively tried to get closer the her in step 1 as she’s extremely closed off by step 2. I imagine MianMian would like KitKat’s clothing, approach her to compliment and ask about them, then be met with nothing but a silent stare as KitKat only understood about 6 of the words spoken to her.

Rafaic, no matter who she's with, even older kids, tends to mother people a little. It's easy for her to get along with most others so I think she'd be very laid-back and friendly but also a little overprotective over MianMian! Would probably have a pocket of her favorite candy at all times and give it to her throughout the week, methinks. They'd probably regularly meet up to chat about something lighthearted over drinks like lemonade or sweet tea (Though Rafi might accidentally yap on and on about the cool haunted place she found that's really close by for a bit too long).

Genshin is a fantasy video game where you get magic powers by visions! Visions are jeweled amulets which allow their users to directly channel the power of one of the seven elements in genshin. Vision Holders (thats what they call ppl with visions) get their visions by having strong, powerful ambitions that are recognised by the Gods. The type of vision element that they'll get differs from their type of ambition.
Hydro (Water): These vision holders care and protect for the people around them. Like their family, friends, country, etc. They hold a high sense of justice and responsibility.
Pyro (Fire): These vision holders are extremely passionate about something. They are very energetic and have a fiery aura! (get it? fiery? like fire?)
Anemo (Wind): These vision holders want to be free from a certain something. Whether it be their past, their responsibilities, or something else! (You could say they.. want to be "free like the wind", hehe)
Dendro (Earth): These vision holders either have a connection with other people or want to have knowledge on a certain subject. (you could say that theyre.. "down-to-earth", hehe)
Electro (Lightning): These vision holders or their goals are seen as "weird" or "different" from other people's. They often strive resolution over dreams.
Geo (Stone): These vision holders are loyal and stick to their ideals until the very end. (You could say that they are "rock solid", hehe)
Cryo (Ice): These vision holders had to face a life-changing situation in their past. They are often cold and closed-off, often alienated by other people. (you could say that they're.. "ice cold", hehe.)

Im having a hard time choosing between Geo and Pyro for Runie. Because they could really be either one! But if I realllyyy had to think about it, Runie would be Geo. Soley, because (if he were in the genshin verse) the reason why they would earn the Geo Vision is when they finally feel pride about their strength after years of being ashamed and disgusted by it, he finally feels so much confidence and it shows with the Geo vision attached to his wrist like a bracelet, a sign of absolute pride.

MianMian was always seen as strange and out of place in most places in her old home, she couldn't feel like she belong, and people wouldn't make it easier for her, so she tends to isolate herself a lot until she moves to Golden Grove and all, but in Genshin verse, she probably still would feel like she doesn't belong, i imagine that in that universe, she's a wanderer!! Never staying so long in a place. (I totally imagine that she would be a Liyue character)

Hiro would for sure have an anemo vision. He’s the type of person who hides a lot (literally, since in step 2 he wears a mask to avoid judgment) but he still deeply values the people who accept him. Anemo suits him because it represents freedom, and for him, that means breaking away from others’ expectations and just living life on his own terms
For Sylvan, she will receive a geo vision because she's actually really determined and strong-willed. She is extremely focused on becoming a fashion designer, to the point where she struggles in other areas like academics. Despite setbacks, she doesn’t waver from her goal, which reflects the stability and perseverance associated with geo. The vision would symbolize her ability to stay grounded and push forward no matter the challenges.

SOOO, If Kojo and Yuming were fantasy characters…. Kojo would definitely be the scholar mage + rogue combo! His magic would be surrounded around ancient magic, dark arts, blood magic, something with shadows, control of the death. Something like Megumi from JJK, my goat Nico Di Angelo from PJO, etc. His preferred weapon would be a bow or daggers if it was the common ‘open-world, forest and villages’ fantasy setting, and he would use his hands to control his magic. He’d have a basic grasp of ’basic magic’ such as fire, ice, water, nature, and transformative and psychic magic, but was more interested in the darker, more powerful and complicated magic. I think Kojo would either be Elven or some Half-Human, Half-Animal hybrid/halfling. Perhaps a vampire?? He’d be good with animals (surprisingly) and his favourite animals would be dragons, snakes, griffons, tigers, and owls. Ravens and crows too, but they kind of hang around him wherever he goes so thats a given. 😼😼
Yuming would be a mage as well, but she’s definitely not some morally questionable, cold and stoic person like Kojo. Her specialties would lie in nature and ice magic, while also excelling at lightning magic. Yuming’s interest are being kind while also being strong, so when she meets Kojo (in this au they meet and are friends) she also focuses on the ancient magic, but rather than the dark arts, she focuses on her specialties. She, too, has a basic grasp of ‘basic magic’ but not on dark magic. I’d like to think she’s a deer hybrid/deer type satyr. But the thoughts of elven (i love elves mb gngy 💔💔) or half sea creature Yuming are plaguing my mind as well. She’s strong but beautiful, and in contrast to Kojo, white and bleeding heart doves follow her around! ❤️☹️

As a black man I really do not fw that yk? They also have other issues that I wont start abt bcs I'd probably never stop (there's a fuckton wrong with that company). But Hoyo's inability to propperly represent West African, North African, and just make characters with melanin, yet somehow manage to atleast decently portray West-European and Asian (I understand they are an Asian company so obv that's probably gonna be represendted well) characters is ... Questionable.
But yeah, gacha games to me are... meh. Really depends on if I have to spend five hours for one gamble or if it's pretty easy.
I get the culture thing too. I’m white personally but I believe that media should accurately represent the culture and people it’s based on. I wish Hoyoverse would do more than just give characters different eyes shapes bc that’s usually as far as they go.
I stopped playin Genshin recently. I loved it but it hurt my hands and took up too much of my time. I didn’t have a single main because the strategy I used to keep my hands from cramping involved quick swapping between all four character.
I feel like Bacon would just be another Geo tank like Noelle. Bacon’s extreme weight and height, combined with his protective instincts for KitKat make him perfect for the role. I mean, I have given him the boss enemy title of “The Unyielding Bastion.”
KitKat would probably have a Cryo vision due to her long history with the cold. She always wears a winter coat because she’s constantly cold. Plus, she grew up in Greenland, a country covered in so much ice, people only live along the coasts.

Second Prepare for some yapping as I just got home from a workout and I am too tired to shorten my thoughts.
I feel like Kathryne and Maeve would be good friends as their both socially inept and selectively mute, IF they were force to interact. Although I feel like Maeve would have to introduce themselves first as in step one, KitKat can only speak German and Greenlandic (an Inuit language) as she's a German girl who grew up in Greenland. She does know like 20 English words but that's it, so she doesn't like talking to strangers since she doesn't know what they're saying. I could also see KitKat having a girl crush on her since Maeve would be someone who understands her struggles.
Bacon might be a bit too much for Maeve to handle at first, but he's used to looking out for KitKat who has a similar personality, so he'd likely recognize that she's uncomfortable and dial it back a bit. He'd honestly see her like another sister he has to protect.
Kathryne and Haruki would be an interesting pair due to KitKat's hair. I feel like they could eventually become friends with Haruki constantly chasing her down to brush her hair. Haruki would probably have a panic attack when he saw how wild and unkempt her hair was for the first time, and would immediately try and brush it, something Kathryne hates. Then he'd be left confused when he realizes that KitKat's hair isn't tied or clipped into loops, but instead grows that way naturally. Then he would be more confused when she tries to explain it to him in two different languages, neither of which he understands.
I feel like He and Bacon would get along quite well. I like to think that Bacon would have to hold KitKat down while Haruki brushes her hair.

Lennox likes to keep his hair really long cause it makes him confident in keeping it soft and flowy, he especially likes switching up different hairstyles and try to keep it cute since he really likes cute things.
He's also a very bad studyholic, if he's not with friends or doing some physical activity, he can get lost studying for hours and hours. Sometimes it's bad enough he would forget to eat, being too invested and focused. He wears reading glasses since his mom forced him after he complained about having trouble.

What are your MC's favorite food and drinks? (And favorite candy too, if they like candy!)
Hiro definitely have a sweet tooth, he likes eating anything that's sweet but he especially loves churros! I could picture that Opal would scold him if he eat too much when he's a kid lol. And for favorite drink he loves LOVES hot chocolate!! Hot chocolate with marshmallows and all those yummy deliciousness specifically. And of course he also like candy! He likes any kind except for the sour ones, he can't handle sourness
And for Sylvan.. She just really likes bread, doesn't matter what kind of bread it is she will eat them all with a satisfied look on her face. And for favorite drink.. she doesn't exactly have a favorite drink, she would usually just go for good 'ol tea whenever she eats at a restaurant. And Sylvan like candy but she doesn't like it when it's too sweet so she usually eats fruit-based candy or one of those coffee ones
Bacon will eat anything, and I mean that literally. But his favorite food is pancakes, his favorite drink is root beer, his favorite candy is butterscotch.
Kathryne also isn’t a picky eater but she has very clear dislikes. Her favorite food is spaghetti bolognese, her favorite drink is a warm cup of tea, and her favorite candy is dark chocolate.
Rafaic really loves sour foods especially, though is also known to consume horrifically spicy foods too. I think her favorite foods overall have to be a three-way tie between Zaalouk, Raggmunk for Breakfast, and Roasted Garlic Focaccia. She WILL however marry you on the spot if you make her Chicken Bastilla.
Her favorite drinks are Cinnamon-Spiced Apple Cider, Ginger Ale or Tea and Pomegranate-Hibiscus Lemonade
She's not too huge on most actual candies, but she does like Fig Cookies, Sweet Potato Sesame Balls and Blueberry White Chocolate Truffles. Other than that, she likes basically almost every baked good under the sun, especially pies and doughnuts.
Runie has an iron stomach so hes basically okay with eating whatever. Fried cockroaches? Yeah sure why not. Maggots? Well, they look disgusting but you only live once right? Cow heart? Interesting, i wanna eat it!

(she doesn't have any tolerance to spicy) For drinks, she likes Peach Tea, It's her favorite drink, light and sweet, thought she loves vanilla and lavender Tea too. 🧋🍵🍎

So unlike Sylvan Hiro isn't really fashionable at all, he just wear something easy like jackets and hoodies. And yes, he's a tall king at 14 🙏 Unfortunately though he stopped growing in step 3 (I'm thinking he's at least 6 feet in step 3), Hiro doesn't like that he wants to grow taller because he really likes being tall 🤭

Hiro had been verbally bullied long before moving to Golden Grove. The reason? His lack of facial expressions. Tired of the constant name-calling, he started wearing a mask, completely hiding his "robotic" expression. If they couldn't see his face, maybe they’d stop judging it. He shielded himself from a world that refused to accept his expressionless face.
Edit: I forgot to mention this but I was originally wasn't going to make him pose at all because I don't think Hiro knows how to pose but It just looked too awkward if I just drew him standing like 🧍
Honestly, he and Kathryn’s have the same opinion on fashion, practicality over style. KitKat just wears a sweater and baggy pants.. she always wears her cloak because she’s always cold, even in the summer heat. There’s not really a reason, it’s just makes my world funnier.
Honestly, I respect the dedication to coziness. KitKat out here proving that warmth is a state of mind, not a season. Or maybe she’s just on a whole other level of fashion, cloak-core could be the next big thing! >:D

As a matter Of fact , i might relate to Hiro because i was a bit of a smiley person before, and not that it is a necessarily bad thing but you'll always find a smile at my face in the most awkward of times , things happened with people like teachers getting physically violent and me getting hurt lots of times and until this very day i do not smile as Much when i am outside

I always hate double posting but I feel the need to share this. Here's the TLDR: I came to dislike Kathryne's current design and so I redrew her based off of an old sketch. The long version is down below. (Edit Realized I uploaded the wrong version the first time :P)
Recently, I've taken a long look at Kathryne's design and decided I didn't really like it. I've been mulling it over for a while and then I kid you not, I had a dream about an outfit sketch in one of my old sketchbooks that I loved but had lost nearly 8 YEARS AGO! I decided to recreate it and put Kathryne in that outfit and I gotta say, I honestly prefer her this way. Plus the nostalgia of this outfit is an added bonus. [^_^]
She also now has some of her hairs connecting into loops and some remaining normal in step 1. Rather than them all going from normal to looped in step 2.
if I recall correctly, when I originally designed it, I tried to base it off of a mix of Scandinavian winter gear and some general tribal cloth patterns. KitKat is orginally from Germany, then moved to Greenland when she was 2 for her mom’s work. She then stayed there until the move to Golden Grove and during that time they adopted Bacon. So she still grew up speaking German, learning it from Opal , but her clothing is more Scandinavian. And yes I know that Greenland isn’t part of Scandinavia, but it’s close

There is an antagonist in this story, obviously, but I didnt really know how to incorporate it into the story(?) but Runie gets kidnapped and very bad stuff happens to him (Its called the Rebirthing process in the series)

I haven’t read the series but what I do know is that the children share the traits of their godly parents so I’m gonna give this a shot.
Bacon would probably be the son of Ares given his physical attributes. He doesn’t seek out fights but will protect those he loves at all cost. Although, as a side note, I know it doesn’t fit him at all, but would be hilarious if his parent was Aphrodite.
Kathryne’s parent would likely be Athena since she’s incredibly smart and very logical. Although, I’m not sure if he’s in PJO but Hypnos might also be a good fit since he’s associated with sleep and KitKat struggles with insomnia.

In step 1, Kathryne only speaks German and Kalaallisut (primary language in Greenland) and only knows a few words in English. By step 2 she speaks broken English and is fluent by step 3. Bacon only knows English and a couple German words he learned from KitKat.
yay for kitkat for becoming fluent in step 3! My MC Blythe can speak English and (an asian language that im not gonna tell because i might accidentally dox myself) pretty well. But she also wants to learn Turkish and Filipino too because some of her friends are from there lol

In step 1, Kojo speaks English, Korean, and a bit of Mexican Spanish. By step 2, he has added Greek, Mandarin/Chinese, and German! In step 3 he learns Tagalog, French and Italian. He still knows how to speak and read Mexican Spanish, but sometimes he forgets words or his brain just shortcuts when writing 💔💔💔 in step 4 he doesn't learn any new languages 😞
Yu-ming speaks Chinese and English in step 1, but even after already living in the states for 3 years and learning English before moving, she still sometimes forgets simple words like 'microwave' or 'waterbottle' (happens to me but w/ dutch 😞 sigh being bilingual is a blessing and a curse) In step 2 she speaks English better, and has started to learn German for Tammy. In step 3 and 4 it stays like that. Unlike Kojo, Yuming has no desire to learn every language in the world.
(Perhaps they both know Dutch too cuz yeah, but probs not.)

Jude speaks English, Japanese, Spanish, German and Chinese a little!! he's good at learning languages and likes it very much so he spends his free time with it often, he is most fluent in Japanese since he used to live there and worst at Chinese but he wants to learn it for Qiu so he tries still
Fio just speaks English fluently but she speaks Italian at A2 level and knows a few German words too (for Tamarack ofc). She doesn't have a separate want to learn new languages and she learns Italian just because she's Italian so she feels like she has to know it (even though she never lived or went there) but gives up a little quickly 😔

By stage 2 Leonard is already fluent in Russian and generally speaks more in that language than in English, as well as knowing a little German and Chinese through Tamarack and Qiu
In future steps he doesn't change much in languages other than learning German and Chinese better.
Russian is a fun choice, don’t speak it myself but it’s very fun to listen to someone yelling angrily in Russian. :)
Leonard decided to learn Russian because he found out that his father was Russian, so he wanted to learn his father's language... Maybe one day he'll meet him.
Mari would know English and French fluently, but force herself to learn Hindi because she feels guilty abt not knowing her home language despite being shit at it 😞
Kel would be both fluent in Chinese and English, though Chinese would be his home language
Elias would know English, but be able to write German before being fully fluent in step 3

In step 1, Gin mainly speaks english but he's trying to learn japanese, german and mandarin. Since he's a quick learner and likes learning new things, he gets the hang of them pretty easily, already speaking japanese fluently by step 2, german and mandarin not so much, since he got bored of them. In step 3 he already knows english, japanese, german and mandarin, starting to learn some others like, spanish, french and russian.

In Step 2; she starts to learn some German(for my girl Tamarack🩷) and Russian; here, she's already fluent in Turkish too.
In Step 3 she becomes fluent in German and Russian, then she begins to learn Korean and starts to get interested in Tagalog Filipino too.
In Step 4, she likes to mix words in diferent languages to play with her friends (usually Korean+Filipino Tagalog+Mandarin); she likes to study diferent kinds of languages, but doesn't learn more in this step.
That’s a lot of languages that all have completely different rules and structure. She’s quite talented

Okay so Runie ORIGINALLY came from the Philippines but moved to the US when he was almost a year old.
He’s obviously fluent in both Tagalog and English, but also in other dialects of the Philippines as well like Cebuano, Ilocano, and Waray (considering his family came from the three different islands there. Yes they are a BIG family.)
He learns German from Tammy, and speaks only a bit of Spanish, Chinese, and Swahili because hes been friends with Sonia, Qinru, and Damian for a long time :3
Though the language that hes put the most passion in learning is sign language. Its mostly because he wanted to talk to Damian whenever hes non-verbal and also because he thinks its a challenge to learn which he loves!
That seemed like a lot of languages to know that well and then I realized that those are just regional dialects and are very similar languages.
LOL it is kind of similar. Mostly Tagalog and Cebuano. But when youre in a big family where all 4 of them are spoken I think youd be a bit fluent in it (Thats basically me with Cebuano)

Just like Sylvan, Hiro is also born and raised in a place where everyone mainly speaks english so he only knew english in step 1, also I would've liked to think that he's not really interested in learning a language unless he's really interested in it. Though in step 2 he learned german for Tammy (another reasson is that he's really curious on what Tammy says in german sometimes)

MianMian's hair reminds Blythe of her old ex-friends who she does NOT like (They used to wear twintails) so she sometimes feels uneasy with her 😓😓 But she does like MianMian a lot!!

Also I think they could help each other grow like MianMian learning to open up more, and Sylvan finding better ways to manage her studies without losing sight of her dream. Also like Sylvan, MianMian seems to be really fashionable (love the fit girl) so Sylvan could make some clothes or accesories for her!!
For Hiro.. I think it could take a while for either of them to talk to each other but once they do warm up to each other it'll just be.. Runie - Step 1 - Puppy crush, thinks shes absolutely adorable and basically wanted to be the knight to her princess even of hes like.. passed out most of the time. Very childish crushes!
Step 2- Close friends, he grew out of his crush phase and started seeing her as like, a really good friend. Sometimes people think they still have a crush on her but Runie is just very affectionate, especially to her and their other close friends. He’s still very loving towards her and sees her as someone he wants in his life.
Step 3- Platonic Adoration, they reallyy realllyyyy love her. You know that thing people say that “Friends dont look at friends like that.” Runie thinks that statement is crazy, because, he loves his friends! Runie loves Mianmian like its easy, he likes spending time with her, being with her. Shes made a space inside his heart for her basically.
Step 4- same thing as step 3 but he accepts the fact that Mianmian is just really someone special. His heart already saved her a spot inside it, and he Runie thinks that people who say that what he feels isnt platonic, is crazy! How couldnt he not love Mianmian when shes made herself a special piece in his life? Thats his buddy! >:/
They grow a bit distant after step 2 but id like to think that they grew closer at school whenever they have classes together :3

MianMian would totally be very close to him on Step 1, as they're this close and Runie seems to understand and like her company, she'll even think of him as her best friend, the one she'll always have a soft spot for, being more gentle with him and actively trying to show him she cares.
For Step 2, MianMian understands him well, she knows how affectionate Runie is, and she reciprocates it easier than in step 1, she'll hug, hold hands, let Runie sleep on her shoulder or lap, she touches very few people, Runie is one of the people she doesn't have this limit, she apreciates him very much and knows she wants him to be in her life forever!
In Step 3, MianMian will always have a spot for him in her heart, like, Runie is one of the most important people on her life, she doesn't let much people see how vulnerable she is, she hates this intimacy, but she doesn't mind If It's him, because she knows she trusts him the most.
Step 4 is like Step 3, but now, MianMian is more open with her feelings, now, she initiates contact too, doesn't wait for him to do so as when she was younger, MianMian now feels completely secure to do so, because, she knows deeply in her heart, she loves Runie just the way he says he loves her too, how could she not love her friends? They're very lovable, especially Runie.
I’ll try not to make this too long because I have a hard time condensing my thought.
She and Bacon may or may not get along, at least in step 1. Bacon is a really happy and friendly person, but can be rather loud and hyperactive and has a hard time reading social cues. So interacting with Bacon in step 1 can be very exhausting at times, he does calm down a bit in step 2 though. So, I’m not sure how MianMian would react to Bacon. They could probably bond over their mutual sweet tooth though.
Although I think Kathryne would have a major crush on MianMian as she loves cute girls, I don’t think the two would get along in the beginning to be honest. KitKat doesn’t speak English in step 1. She’s also afraid of new people, constantly cold and tired, and brutally honest. All this made her appear to be very unfriendly and rude. The two could only be friends if MianMian actively tried to get closer the her in step 1 as she’s extremely closed off by step 2. I imagine MianMian would like KitKat’s clothing, approach her to compliment and ask about them, then be met with nothing but a silent stare as KitKat only understood about 6 of the words spoken to her.

Rafaic, no matter who she's with, even older kids, tends to mother people a little. It's easy for her to get along with most others so I think she'd be very laid-back and friendly but also a little overprotective over MianMian! Would probably have a pocket of her favorite candy at all times and give it to her throughout the week, methinks. They'd probably regularly meet up to chat about something lighthearted over drinks like lemonade or sweet tea (Though Rafi might accidentally yap on and on about the cool haunted place she found that's really close by for a bit too long).

If your MC was in Genshin Impact, what type of vision would they recieve? ....or if they were a fantasy character, what type of magic would they have? (Explanation for visions AND how they look like down below!)

Genshin is a fantasy video game where you get magic powers by visions! Visions are jeweled amulets which allow their users to directly channel the power of one of the seven elements in genshin. Vision Holders (thats what they call ppl with visions) get their visions by having strong, powerful ambitions that are recognised by the Gods. The type of vision element that they'll get differs from their type of ambition.
Hydro (Water): These vision holders care and protect for the people around them. Like their family, friends, country, etc. They hold a high sense of justice and responsibility.
Pyro (Fire): These vision holders are extremely passionate about something. They are very energetic and have a fiery aura! (get it? fiery? like fire?)
Anemo (Wind): These vision holders want to be free from a certain something. Whether it be their past, their responsibilities, or something else! (You could say they.. want to be "free like the wind", hehe)
Dendro (Earth): These vision holders either have a connection with other people or want to have knowledge on a certain subject. (you could say that theyre.. "down-to-earth", hehe)
Electro (Lightning): These vision holders or their goals are seen as "weird" or "different" from other people's. They often strive resolution over dreams.
Geo (Stone): These vision holders are loyal and stick to their ideals until the very end. (You could say that they are "rock solid", hehe)
Cryo (Ice): These vision holders had to face a life-changing situation in their past. They are often cold and closed-off, often alienated by other people. (you could say that they're.. "ice cold", hehe.)

Im having a hard time choosing between Geo and Pyro for Runie. Because they could really be either one! But if I realllyyy had to think about it, Runie would be Geo. Soley, because (if he were in the genshin verse) the reason why they would earn the Geo Vision is when they finally feel pride about their strength after years of being ashamed and disgusted by it, he finally feels so much confidence and it shows with the Geo vision attached to his wrist like a bracelet, a sign of absolute pride.

MianMian was always seen as strange and out of place in most places in her old home, she couldn't feel like she belong, and people wouldn't make it easier for her, so she tends to isolate herself a lot until she moves to Golden Grove and all, but in Genshin verse, she probably still would feel like she doesn't belong, i imagine that in that universe, she's a wanderer!! Never staying so long in a place. (I totally imagine that she would be a Liyue character)

Hiro would for sure have an anemo vision. He’s the type of person who hides a lot (literally, since in step 2 he wears a mask to avoid judgment) but he still deeply values the people who accept him. Anemo suits him because it represents freedom, and for him, that means breaking away from others’ expectations and just living life on his own terms
For Sylvan, she will receive a geo vision because she's actually really determined and strong-willed. She is extremely focused on becoming a fashion designer, to the point where she struggles in other areas like academics. Despite setbacks, she doesn’t waver from her goal, which reflects the stability and perseverance associated with geo. The vision would symbolize her ability to stay grounded and push forward no matter the challenges.

i’m gonna answer the fantasy character question cause mihoeyo/hoeyoverse and any of their shitty games pmo. If they dont have any haters im still hating from the death‼️ anyway probs gonna yap and totally add more stuff than just magic but wtv
SOOO, If Kojo and Yuming were fantasy characters…. Kojo would definitely be the scholar mage + rogue combo! His magic would be surrounded around ancient magic, dark arts, blood magic, something with shadows, control of the death. Something like Megumi from JJK, my goat Nico Di Angelo from PJO, etc. His preferred weapon would be a bow or daggers if it was the common ‘open-world, forest and villages’ fantasy setting, and he would use his hands to control his magic. He’d have a basic grasp of ’basic magic’ such as fire, ice, water, nature, and transformative and psychic magic, but was more interested in the darker, more powerful and complicated magic. I think Kojo would either be Elven or some Half-Human, Half-Animal hybrid/halfling. Perhaps a vampire?? He’d be good with animals (surprisingly) and his favourite animals would be dragons, snakes, griffons, tigers, and owls. Ravens and crows too, but they kind of hang around him wherever he goes so thats a given. 😼😼
Yuming would be a mage as well, but she’s definitely not some morally questionable, cold and stoic person like Kojo. Her specialties would lie in nature and ice magic, while also excelling at lightning magic. Yuming’s interest are being kind while also being strong, so when she meets Kojo (in this au they meet and are friends) she also focuses on the ancient magic, but rather than the dark arts, she focuses on her specialties. She, too, has a basic grasp of ‘basic magic’ but not on dark magic. I’d like to think she’s a deer hybrid/deer type satyr. But the thoughts of elven (i love elves mb gngy 💔💔) or half sea creature Yuming are plaguing my mind as well. She’s strong but beautiful, and in contrast to Kojo, white and bleeding heart doves follow her around! ❤️☹️

As a black man I really do not fw that yk? They also have other issues that I wont start abt bcs I'd probably never stop (there's a fuckton wrong with that company). But Hoyo's inability to propperly represent West African, North African, and just make characters with melanin, yet somehow manage to atleast decently portray West-European and Asian (I understand they are an Asian company so obv that's probably gonna be represendted well) characters is ... Questionable.
But yeah, gacha games to me are... meh. Really depends on if I have to spend five hours for one gamble or if it's pretty easy.
I get the culture thing too. I’m white personally but I believe that media should accurately represent the culture and people it’s based on. I wish Hoyoverse would do more than just give characters different eyes shapes bc that’s usually as far as they go.
I stopped playin Genshin recently. I loved it but it hurt my hands and took up too much of my time. I didn’t have a single main because the strategy I used to keep my hands from cramping involved quick swapping between all four character.
I feel like Bacon would just be another Geo tank like Noelle. Bacon’s extreme weight and height, combined with his protective instincts for KitKat make him perfect for the role. I mean, I have given him the boss enemy title of “The Unyielding Bastion.”
KitKat would probably have a Cryo vision due to her long history with the cold. She always wears a winter coat because she’s constantly cold. Plus, she grew up in Greenland, a country covered in so much ice, people only live along the coasts.

Second Prepare for some yapping as I just got home from a workout and I am too tired to shorten my thoughts.
I feel like Kathryne and Maeve would be good friends as their both socially inept and selectively mute, IF they were force to interact. Although I feel like Maeve would have to introduce themselves first as in step one, KitKat can only speak German and Greenlandic (an Inuit language) as she's a German girl who grew up in Greenland. She does know like 20 English words but that's it, so she doesn't like talking to strangers since she doesn't know what they're saying. I could also see KitKat having a girl crush on her since Maeve would be someone who understands her struggles.
Bacon might be a bit too much for Maeve to handle at first, but he's used to looking out for KitKat who has a similar personality, so he'd likely recognize that she's uncomfortable and dial it back a bit. He'd honestly see her like another sister he has to protect.
Kathryne and Haruki would be an interesting pair due to KitKat's hair. I feel like they could eventually become friends with Haruki constantly chasing her down to brush her hair. Haruki would probably have a panic attack when he saw how wild and unkempt her hair was for the first time, and would immediately try and brush it, something Kathryne hates. Then he'd be left confused when he realizes that KitKat's hair isn't tied or clipped into loops, but instead grows that way naturally. Then he would be more confused when she tries to explain it to him in two different languages, neither of which he understands.
I feel like He and Bacon would get along quite well. I like to think that Bacon would have to hold KitKat down while Haruki brushes her hair.

As for Maeve i think they have lifelong comrades potential since i feel like they share another set of braincells but realistically neither would approach each other 😞 in another universe ig

Lennox likes to keep his hair really long cause it makes him confident in keeping it soft and flowy, he especially likes switching up different hairstyles and try to keep it cute since he really likes cute things.
He's also a very bad studyholic, if he's not with friends or doing some physical activity, he can get lost studying for hours and hours. Sometimes it's bad enough he would forget to eat, being too invested and focused. He wears reading glasses since his mom forced him after he complained about having trouble.

Also, her little green floral scarf-ish thing is actually a type of traditional clothing piece from my country! The way she wears it though, isn't the actual way you're supposed to wear it. But I always wear it like that and it's not technically wrong, just not a lot of people wear it like that lol.

What are your MC's favorite food and drinks? (And favorite candy too, if they like candy!)
Hiro definitely have a sweet tooth, he likes eating anything that's sweet but he especially loves churros! I could picture that Opal would scold him if he eat too much when he's a kid lol. And for favorite drink he loves LOVES hot chocolate!! Hot chocolate with marshmallows and all those yummy deliciousness specifically. And of course he also like candy! He likes any kind except for the sour ones, he can't handle sourness
And for Sylvan.. She just really likes bread, doesn't matter what kind of bread it is she will eat them all with a satisfied look on her face. And for favorite drink.. she doesn't exactly have a favorite drink, she would usually just go for good 'ol tea whenever she eats at a restaurant. And Sylvan like candy but she doesn't like it when it's too sweet so she usually eats fruit-based candy or one of those coffee ones

Bacon will eat anything, and I mean that literally. But his favorite food is pancakes, his favorite drink is root beer, his favorite candy is butterscotch.
Kathryne also isn’t a picky eater but she has very clear dislikes. Her favorite food is spaghetti bolognese, her favorite drink is a warm cup of tea, and her favorite candy is dark chocolate.
Rafaic really loves sour foods especially, though is also known to consume horrifically spicy foods too. I think her favorite foods overall have to be a three-way tie between Zaalouk, Raggmunk for Breakfast, and Roasted Garlic Focaccia. She WILL however marry you on the spot if you make her Chicken Bastilla.
Her favorite drinks are Cinnamon-Spiced Apple Cider, Ginger Ale or Tea and Pomegranate-Hibiscus Lemonade
She's not too huge on most actual candies, but she does like Fig Cookies, Sweet Potato Sesame Balls and Blueberry White Chocolate Truffles. Other than that, she likes basically almost every baked good under the sun, especially pies and doughnuts.
Runie has an iron stomach so hes basically okay with eating whatever. Fried cockroaches? Yeah sure why not. Maggots? Well, they look disgusting but you only live once right? Cow heart? Interesting, i wanna eat it!
but theyre really really really a sweet tooth. He loves cheesecake, cassava cake, taho, and puto maya. You can honestly just give him a sweet treat he likes and he’ll be satiated and let you do whatever LOL

MianMian is a Flexitarian, she usually eats more vegetables and bland food, thought she has a Sweet Tooth..she LOVES them, her favorites are, butterscotch Pie, candy apples and caramelized apples! Usually, she prefers fruit-based candy, and doesn't like anything spicy. (she doesn't have any tolerance to spicy) For drinks, she likes Peach Tea, It's her favorite drink, light and sweet, thought she loves vanilla and lavender Tea too. 🧋🍵🍎

So unlike Sylvan Hiro isn't really fashionable at all, he just wear something easy like jackets and hoodies. And if it isn't autumn then he would definitely just wear a short sleeve shirt with sweat pants. And yes, he's a tall king at 14 🙏 Unfortunately though he stopped growing in step 3 (I'm thinking he's at least 6 feet in step 3), Hiro doesn't like that he wants to grow taller because he really likes being tall 🤭

Hiro had been verbally bullied long before moving to Golden Grove. The reason? His lack of facial expressions. (Kids can be such a menace) So, when Hiro first met Tammy, it felt like a gift from the universe—a literal ray of sunshine in his life. He fell for her instantly, even if he didn’t yet understand the feeling. (At least not until step 3)
He also deeply valued Qiu (though not romantically) because Qiu was the first person to ever declare, without hesitation, that they were friends. But even with Tammy and Qiu by his side, the bullying didn’t stop. It wore him down. By the time he turned 14 (Step 2), Hiro had had enough. Tired of the constant name-calling, he started wearing a mask, completely hiding his "robotic" expression. If they couldn't see his face, maybe they’d stop judging it. He shielded himself from a world that refused to accept his expressionless face.
Edit: I forgot to mention this but I was originally wasn't going to make him pose at all because I don't think Hiro knows how to pose but It just looked too awkward if I just drew him standing like 🧍
Honestly, he and Kathryn’s have the same opinion on fashion, practicality over style. KitKat just wears a sweater and baggy pants.. she always wears her cloak because she’s always cold, even in the summer heat. There’s not really a reason, it’s just makes my world funnier.
Honestly, I respect the dedication to coziness. KitKat out here proving that warmth is a state of mind, not a season. Or maybe she’s just on a whole other level of fashion, cloak-core could be the next big thing! >:D

As a matter Of fact , i might relate to Hiro because i was a bit of a smiley person before, and not that it is a necessarily bad thing but you'll always find a smile at my face in the most awkward of times , things happened with people like teachers getting physically violent and me getting hurt lots of times and until this very day i do not smile as Much when i am outside

I always hate double posting but I feel the need to share this. Here's the TLDR: I came to dislike Kathryne's current design and so I redrew her based off of an old sketch. The long version is down below. (Edit Realized I uploaded the wrong version the first time :P)
Recently, I've taken a long look at Kathryne's design and decided I didn't really like it. I've been mulling it over for a while and then I kid you not, I had a dream about an outfit sketch in one of my old sketchbooks that I loved but had lost nearly 8 YEARS AGO! I decided to recreate it and put Kathryne in that outfit and I gotta say, I honestly prefer her this way. Plus the nostalgia of this outfit is an added bonus. [^_^]
She also now has some of her hairs connecting into loops and some remaining normal in step 1. Rather than them all going from normal to looped in step 2.

if I recall correctly, when I originally designed it, I tried to base it off of a mix of Scandinavian winter gear and some general tribal cloth patterns. KitKat is orginally from Germany, then moved to Greenland when she was 2 for her mom’s work. She then stayed there until the move to Golden Grove and during that time they adopted Bacon. So she still grew up speaking German, learning it from Opal , but her clothing is more Scandinavian. And yes I know that Greenland isn’t part of Scandinavia, but it’s close
