I haven't even finished the demo (just finished the first day of school) and I'm already in love. I'm blown away by the amount of choices, customization, and all the work put into this! I was shocked when Qui commented on my character wearing a bandage on their face for two days in a row and it led to dialogue options. It's such a small detail, but really helps with the immersion and makes it feel like your choices matter! Super excited to see how the game will progress!

I absolutely love this game SO MUCH! I don’t like novel story games because I don’t like reading and usually it’s just boring but this one is so COOL and so CUTE!! The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable and the characters feel like they have a consistent personality even if it’s just the demo! I can’t wait for it to be done everything about it is so perfect. I can’t recommend this game enough!

Having played the demo, I cannot wait for this game to be finished. Something I've always had a problem with visual novels is it's hard to put yourself into the story with the limited choices you have. However, being given up to 8 different dialogue options that the game will remember in the future will make it so everyone's playthroughs will truly be different, with each of their characters having potentially diverse personalities to match the other characters. I will be watching your career with great interest from today onwards.
i was initially avoiding playing the demo because i knew that i was going to love it and that i would be losing my mind over how bad i want the whole thing until its released but i caved and as expected, i am losing my mind but im still so glad i checked it out!! the art and music are both beautiful and i adore qiu and tamarack already!! i was also absolutely thrilled at all the different things you can customize when making your mc! there are so few games out there that allow you to select gender, pronouns, honorifics, etc all separately (especially if you use multiple pronouns or anything like that) and im still giddy about that being an option in this.. i also really like the way you can set a more specific dynamic between the mc and tamarack/qiu! olba already had really great customization for your mc and their relationships and you've managed to improve upon those mechanics a lot already its really neat ^_^ thank you for making such wonderful games
You will go to school in some scenes! There are some cases where characters can notice if you do the opposite of something you've done in the past, but usually the game will assume your MC is someone who does things based on the current situation, not a strict set of rules. It makes sense to not always act in one way.
I’m bummed, not because this is a terrible demo or anything, it’s fantastic! I genuinely can’t wait for the full release. Interactions in this are sweet and funny at times, and I honestly didn’t expect comments based on what your character wore! Additionally it’s just overall calming.
I loved OLBA so i just had to download the demo. Unfortunately it says there is a bug and it keeps crashing. Is there a way i can fix it? Im on Android btw.
Glad you liked it! Could you tell me exactly what the error report says? Android will blame any inability to play the game on a bug, even when it's actually because you need more memory or you need to install it from a different method. If it is the generic response, then the solution will be different than if it there some new bug that has appeared. But you can try clearing up space on the device and downloading through the Itch app, if you used the website, or using the website directly if you used the Itch app before.

Sometimes! But it'll be easy to miss that kind of thing because it'll have to be very specifically doing the opposite of something you've done in the past. Just any old change in mood/action won't be noted. It'll be considered as the MC having more than one side to their personality and that's normal.
Finished the demo, that's too bad Darren isn't a LI I like his character he's interesting. Don't get me wrong Qui and Tamarack are precious they are sweet i love their dynamic but sadly i don't feel any attachment to them like I do with Cove tbh it's so much different than the first game. But that's okay even though I will skip this one I wish u all the best for the development of this game. Wow ! I came from OL1 and I fell in love with the story and characters. But this game got me to. I really enjoyed the characters dynamics and personalities. They're well rounded and relatable. Tamarack and Qiu are both sweet in their own way. Thus, befriending them seems really natural and cool. I also liked seeing Baxter here as I liked him too.
Besides, being able to customize our MC this much was so great. I was okay with stories where I can't see my character because in the other way it was awkward. As I like creating my own MC this was fun ! I also like the way you depict various kind of characters in term of sexuality, personality or even the kind of family they grew up in. It's beautifully done and it matters.
Thank you for this astounding game. I don't know how many efforts you put in this but it was definitely worth it.
Right now we're not planning on having side character story DLCs like the first game. Maybe that will change much further into development, but it's not a for sure thing.

Honestly, I don't usually like visual novels and avoid them at all costs (I used to play some a few years ago but got kinda tired, wanted games that are more "gamey" and less "comic-y"), but this one got me for some reason. I'm really anxious to see the complete version of the game. Hope it will be out soon.
The demo was great! It's so much different than the first game while managing to keep the same feeling. It's also already improved over the first game in many ways. I can't wait to be able to play through the whole release! Also great to see Baxter again, and as a kid. It's nice to have something familiar from the first game.
The engine we use is sometimes falsely flagged as dangerous because it uses Python. You'd have to turn off your scanner and download it if that's happening. Or you could try downloading it using the Itch app instead of the webpage.

The demo will be updated with more scenes in late September or early October! The full game won't be out until 2025.
