I'm constantly wishing for the slightest update bc i love the characters, story, art style, customization, EVERYTHING. I'm so excited for the full thing. 😭
im having issues trying to figure out how to download and run this game...are there by any chance any intructions? ive tried to search for some..Im very sorry..
Scroll down until you see the word "Download" followed by your device type, and the download should start. If you're using a phone, you may be asked if you're sure you want to download; just click yes and install. And boom, it should be on your device!
i love this game so much, i wonder if there will ever be/if its possible for there to be an option or route where you can play your character mute the entire time? idk I think it would be so cool and there's already tons of nonverbal options I think being able to replacing saying stuff with just gestures or looks would be such cool representation (as someone whose a nonverbal neurodivergent :) )
Oh that would be an awesome addition, I suppose we'll have to see with later updates, however I can totally see either Qui or Tamarack jumping in to speak up for the character if they got in a really uncomfortable position.
It would quite fit with the patronizing attitude toward MC present in the game. I have also in one of my demo playthroughs tried playing super shy boy who got a hard time talking to strangers, so I like your idea.
I've really enjoyed this so far! And I'm looking forward to more updates, but I do have a question as I tend to get heavily into the character as if we're the same person and I am wondering if there might be a routes where our character might distance themselves from the other characters, for example maybe the mc might be uncomfortable with the confidence or enthusiasm of another character or perhaps certain events or information may have an opportunity for the mc to misinterpret or assume something and cause a drift between them and the others. Without spoilers there was something that I saw near the end that my brain went instantly "hope this kind of path might be available later"

so far i love qiu and tamarack's personalities, they contrast each other very well, and the options for dialogue in this game have so many possibilities!
everything from the art style/designs to the music is so relaxing and cozy, i love it!
my favorite part though would probably be the character customization. I enjoy simple editions like that.

I was so upset when I reached the Thank You! end screen of the demo. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I can't wait for the full game! It's so precious, and I really really really love Tamarack.
I love the way you guys make these games! There's nothing else quite like it that I've played before. It's so good, and the music is top notch! I only wish there were small sound effects here and there to add to the atmosphere.

Game looks nice and seems really well made and fun, but on android I'm able to open it for a minute or two before it randomly closes. Is there a reason behind this?
It's possible a virus scanner or app checker on your phone is blocking the game because it decided this file downloaded off a random site rather than the official app store doesn't seem safe. Or sometimes it needs more space to properly play than it takes to just download it and having more memory available helps. I hope you're able to get it to work!
Sometimes you need to delete all previous builds and then download the new one. If you have the older folder somewhere that could be getting in the way of the newer one.
This is absolutely wonderful!!! From the customization to all the dialogue options (also, as a semi-verbal person, i really appreciate the ability to stay silent! you don't see it that often in games, and it's so so great!) the art, the music, the atmosphere.... it's all just soooo <3<3<3<3 you can feel the work that has been put into this; thank you so much for creating and sharing it with us :)
this month they're working on Derek's side story! but, they're still working on art for OL:NF. just not the script or coding as far as I can tell, yet. I imagine they'll be working on this in a month or two again. But, we can always hope that it'll come out sooner than we think!
No joke, i check this page way too often. For updates but also to admire the art. Sadly i lost the login to my account so i couldn't comment until now but im just so obsessed with the games this creator puts out.
This was INSANELY good, I came into this, Knowing it was a demo, Yet when the demo ended, i was so disappointed and wanted more! The character designs are practically flawless, And speaking of characters, the kids are such cool characters, And all characters just feel... Human! I CANNOT wait until the game releases fully!!!!
This was really good. I'm awed by the sheer amount of relationship, customization and character choices within this game; looks like a masterpiece thus far and the demo was really fun! Both kids are very interesting characters. I wish you all the best with production and holy moly i cannot wait to play this game fully when its out
i really like our life: beginnings & always but unfortunately my computer is a bit broken and neither of the our lives will run on my pc:( tried to troubleshoot it and it said it's not compatible with my pc

So i downloaded the update 1.1.0, but it doesn't work? It just shows me the previous version without any changes

You could try the steam version, or even the android version if you want to run an android emulator/have an android device!
