The Our Life Now & Forever Demo has been updated!
Thank you to everyone who has been looking forward to this. If you've played the demo before, here's a quick rundown of what's new; 25,000 more words, new MC doll accessories, the 'create your own MC bio' feature, sound effects through all scenes, plus other small tweaks and improvements.
Besides the build itself, the store page was remade to feature new promotional art, screenshots, and an improved description. Progress and polish for the game are coming along very well 💕.
Game Premise:
Fall settles over the charming mountain town of Golden Grove as the story begins. But it isn't only glittering leaves that are changing. You and your mom leave behind everything you knew before when you move to a new home nestled right in the middle of a tight knit cul-de-sac. It’s there where a paper airplane lands at your feet and brings you to unanticipated crossroads.
Make your own path through life as you grow from childhood to adulthood with your two closest neighbors. Even in the chilly autumn weather, it’ll be a truly heartwarming time.
Demo Features:
- A 75,000-word script and dozens of choices to make
- Design your own MC in terms of appearance, identity, personality, and preferences
- Make a personalized bio image for your MC that can be saved and shared
- Develop your own custom dynamic with the two leads
- Customize the font style and textbox arrangement to suit your preferences

Hi. There is a bug for android were it just keeps crashing or it just be my android but if it is a bug then i'm just going to leave this here and hoe you see it. Also I love your games
It's possible you need to open more memory for it to run correctly or that a virus scanner has falsely labeled it as dangerous and is closing it out. Checking for potential updates needed on the device sometimes helps. Or you could try making it easier to run by turning off the animations. Unfortunately, randomly shutting down is a device specific problem and I can only guess what might be happening. Glad you like the games, though!
Hi. I love all your games and especially your 'our life' series. So. question is now and forever going to have a wedding like beginning and always and if so can you please add a baby part if we choose to have one. They will look so cute.
I'm afraid right now I can only promise Steps 1-4. I won't know if further additions, like a wedding, are feasible until much later in development. Although, we won't be able to add a story about having kids no matter what. The amount of art/writing needed to give every player the family life they want wouldn't be doable for a team our size. I'm sorry.
Good day! I have a question, do the Tamarack or Qiu relationships affect the way the two characters treat the mc? I was wondering because Tamarack never called the mc by her nickname
Tamarack explains why she doesn't use the nickname later in the game! It's just part of her personality.

Hello there!, so anyways i just wanted to say that this is a really good game but Qiu and tamarack keep glitching out! My GPU is already updated and i even tried turning off the animation. and what's wierd is that the only characters glitching out are Qiu and tamarack. Is this a glitch in the game or is something wrong with my PC?
Unfortunately, that likely means there are struggles loading the images on the specific device. It isn't a glitch as far as we can tell. But it doesn't only come down to the GPU, it could be a separate driver or graphics cards settings. Or maybe even a virus scanner is interfering with the game because it thinks it seems untrustworthy. And the sprites of Qiu and Tamarack are the hardest to display because they have more going on than the side characters, so that's likely why it's only them having trouble. I'm sorry for the issue.

I'm sorry, there probably won't be apple demo. Maybe it will get that version when it launches in full. Unfortunately, IOS is tricky to release content for.

First - I am Amaaazed how much sound effects (and they were all, really spot on) can enhance Immersion to this amazing level. I could really FEEL the difference between this one and earlier demos: A great example being when Tamarack was rustling in leaves upon first meet and it not only shocked my MC, but me (whoa) lol. On the subject of sounds: The soundtrack is Amazing?? Oh my goodness?? Music we've been given thus far needs tons moar LOVE. Is this same person from first OL? It has similar vibes - but I'm really a fan of like - different versions of songs? Extended tracks? How it can go light with piano, but then pair an electric guitar and just suddenly - BOP. *chef's kiss*
OKAY - NOW TAMARACK. You've Spoooooiled usssss. I mentioned earlier that her crush felt very low-key, non-typical BLWUSHY. And while that holds true on some counts (and I still respect), I REALLY got to see what Tam's special brand of crush actually is. 'MC'S COLORS ARE ALSO MY FAVORITE COLORS. K - BYE.' 😂I love her, your Honor. (Also: chose 'Rainbow' for the culture~) But there were even Beautiful subtles/maybe hints of jealousy we'll see? Like if you say baby Baxter's handsome - I LOVED how Tam's face just DROPPED. And then she responds to him differently. Like: '...hey, you trash. why u here?' Also just ALL her bouncy over sitting next to MC. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have waited for F/F OL goodness since the first's Kickstarter, and I just seem them interacting and I'm cry. I am Highkey curious, though, why she doesn't use MC's nickname when she admits they're friends? (Qiu uses it WITHOUT PERMISSION) I thought it may be because she forgot - but you've showed us she has excellent memory. Is there a STORY there? 👀
Honorable mentions: Mommy is still most amazing creature in this game and I will continue to STAN. Mrs. Murray be best teacher. Like - I adore how much passion and ability to communicate to these children I'm seeing. Even though Darren SUKS - it was awesome seeing new kids beyond mains. I continue to appreciate (and LAWL) neighbor level with Qiu and him coming at my MC like they're best frans. She's deadpan Daria vibes, (and Qiu is a LOT) so their interactions are highly Entertaining. Def getting a: 'Qiu is used to being popular, so when person doesn't immediately fawn, he is confuzzed/ups the ante.
(If you made it this far) Is this last update to the demo before the Kickstarter or nah? I did think it was going to end with MC's mom picking them up - but maybe patrons got that. Either way: So much progress; so much AMAZING. You all Rock. <3
