I believe that's the spot for telling Cove about his dad's offer to pay you to be his friend in Step 2. If you haven't told him in Step 1, you get the option to do it when you're over at Cove's house for dinner.
So, I've played this game several times over on PC and am absolutely in love with it! Though, I'm trying to play it on Android, and it just crashes.. I go into it and after its done loading, the moment i try to click anything, it kicks me out. After doing that two or three times, my phone said the app was kicking me out bc it had a bug and suggested clearing my cache for the app, but it didn't do anything.. Has anyone else come across this/figured out how to fix it?
I'm sorry, there isn't a bug but it is just very hard for some android devices to run. It could be a virus scanner thing or a processing thing or some other setting. There's no way to know for sure.
The main game is not adult-only. But there are extra scenes available only on our Patreon that do have uncensored adult content for those who enjoy that.
I have to say that this is one of the most expansive, reactive, and deep visual novels I have ever played. The level of craftsmanship that went into it is incredible. Its almost hard to believe that this is an Indie game. Feels more like a TripleA made a visual novel, honestly. So, so good. I'm subscribed to the patreon, and I can't wait to see what comes out of Now and Forever!

I only have good things to say about this game. I started playing it two years ago and it is simply an amazing find. I'd play it for a few hours a week just to extend the wholesome feeling it basks you in. The pacing, the characters, the bittersweetness of growing up and discovering your identity... Gosh, and our family— they are the sweetest characters with the perfect mix of realism. (All the characters are).
I like the take of us being adopted (yayyyy inclusion~ ^_^). I like the community we grew up in, a lovely quaint little town. I like the tiny adventures we'd go on and how those memories became fonder with time. I adored Cove and his family from the very beginning. He will always have a special place in my heart.
All in all, a magnificent find. From the storyline to the art and the soundtrack, I'll play this game over and over for a long time. (I teared up when I reached the end, as you can probably tell).

This is the best otome that i've ever played. i feel really attached to the story and all the character as I cry when i play the marriage dlc. like i cried so much is really beautiful and heartwarming especialy when lizz doing her speech on mc wedding(dlc) because i kinda have love hate situation with lizzie at first but when i read her speech it was like-- speechless and full of tears it was perfect! this otome not fast-paced you take one at time slowly seeing all of them grown up i feel like being a mom seeing all her kids growing up. the developer and their team needs more love. please support them more and i hope it'll getting more dlc after marriage!! ><

Guys, since I finished the whole game (and all the DLC since I bought them all) I already feel too empty again, it's like a part of me died, I love this game too much and it's better than all the ones I played, nothing Will it provoke emotions in me like this game did, maybe in the future or it will never happen, who knows? a dlc of baxter or derek, wedding version like the one from cove, I already imagined them with a suit 😭, or some dlc with the three boys when we already formed our family and have children with them, the thought is nice, I can't help but imagine them being parents or how they take care of their children, I want to cry now damn it 😒

There is DLC confirmed for the second game, namely Step expansion DLCs and a wedding DLC, but there aren’t any confirmed DLCs that add additional love interests.
And yes, both games are set in the same universe, so the Baxter you see in the first game is the same one you see in the second.
I have this on steam with all the dlc but my laptop is broken and I was wondering if there is any way for stuff to transfer over so I can play on my phone?
I'm afraid not. You can transfer DLCs between computers/laptops using Steam and Itch because the DLCs are the same whether you get them through Steam or Itch for PC and Mac. But the Android build is a totally different thing from how those function and its only on Itch. There's no comparable build on Steam to swap with. You can't get Itch-only builds by buying the game on Steam.

Hello! I play on PC and on Mac. I downloaded all of my DLCs on steam but im unable to download them onto my Mac, and since my PC has now stopped working I don't have access to them. Is there any way I will be able to access the dlcs from steam or will I have to repurchase them on here? thank you for the amazing games!
I'm sorry that happened! The DLCs for PC and Mac are exactly the same. You can download the free Mac version of the main game from here and just put the DLCs you got from Steam into the Mac Our Life "game" folder . You don't have to buy them again to do that. But if you want the DLCs officially unlocked in your Itch library, you would have to buy them. Steam purchase can't give you Itch keys.
You just have to browse local files for Our Life on Steam, it's on option through managing the game in your Steam library. Then you can find the dlc .rpa files and copy/paste those into the "game" folder of the mac version of Our Life.
sorry for the late reply again- I have tried this but since im unable to install the game on my mac on steam, the option to browse local files isnt even there. Thanks for the help though!!
I'm sorry. If you can't get the PC to work at all or salvage the data in anyway and have to start 100% fresh on Mac, than there wouldn't be a way to access the DLCs for Steam on Mac. But we are hoping next year to make OL available for Mac on Steam.

You can delete the base game and DLCs and then download the base and DLCs all again in order to update everything to the latest version. It won't erase your save files! You can't add newer DLCs to an out-dated base game.
I love this game! I was a huge fan of the other game, so I was intrigued enough to check out the other stuff that the devs may have. It was SO worth it, and I don't regret any second spent here! I loved seeing how our choices really DID stick, including the small ones, where they would be mentioned as a detail even a lot later! I absolutely love games like these, and although I don't usually play visual novels, these two games will always have a special place in my heart. 💙
I finished it in like a day or two, but I really went through the nostalgic feelings the game portrayed, and it did a great job on making the player feel as if they really DID grow up. It was so fun looking back on memories with the characters, watching them grow up and seeing how they change. Meeting new ones and losing a few others, as life goes. It was pretty realistic, and I especially appreciated the diversity in this game AND the other! Thank you for the experience! It would take a heartbeat for me to suggest this and Our Life: Now & Forever to all those that may be interested.

Confession time, I actually play through Steam and have all the currently available DLC through them. I gush for Derek and his brothers. (But I felt dropping a rating here as well never hurt ^.^)
The art is absolutely stunning. I fell in love with first firefly. The sound effects also seem perfectly placed to keep you immersed in the story.
I also adore how many choices you get to make! And I still have no idea which ones are important or not for what will shape Cove as you grow; which has made repeat playthroughs still fun and exciting.
I would be more than happy to buy more DLC for this game if more was to come out in the future.
This is my feel good game after I play my spicy games or the ones with horror tones. This game just wraps my up in a big hug with my lesbian moms, sometimes snotty older sister, and the best damn friend you sometimes kiss across the street.

I'll be honest I'm really glad i gave this game a shot. I know I'm not the target audience or anything but this game was really enjoyable even though I played it as a straight guy who was just Coves bro through out the years. I know I missed out on some content but the game does an awesome job of making it feel like you aren't actually missing out on anything.
I've sunk probably 40 hours in this game and am still combing through DLC events and finding new dialogue still. This is one of my top games of all time, and whenever im feeling a little blue this game cheers me right up. I love starting a new run with different personalities to see how it changes scenes. The vast dialogue is almost like a constant writer's prompt, teaching me how good dialogue and character development are SUPPOSED to flow. 10/10, so happy I bought every piece of content.
I see people gushing over the demo, and the demo doesn't even do the game justice with just how good it is, to the point I believe this is my first review on a game that wasn't short. This game truly deserves all of the praise it gets and then some.
It turns out that the amount of free space needed for the Android version to run is much more than what the game actually takes up.
I had to have ~8 GB (about 10-15% of my phone’s storage capacity) of free space on my phone for both this and the OLNF demo for them to run, despite the fact that the combined size of both games is ~2.7 GB (without OLBA’s DLC).
(I’ll also note that I had deleted the installation APKs to make more space before I got either game to successfully run, and that the games were run on a Galaxy A30.)
I was just finished download it and wanna try to play but now I am curious, does the derek and baxter dlc make them the romanceable character? if so what is gonna happen to cove?
Yeah, you can romance Derek or Baxter if you get their DLCs, or you can just follow their story while being their friend. You can keep Cove as a friend or romance him still if you're not romancing Derek or Baxter. But Cove appears very little in Derek's story and Baxter's story.

Hello, thank you so much for your hard work and creating a game so wonderful! I've been trying to play the game for the past couple of days, but can never get past the main screen without it ultimately crashing and closing out completely. I'm playing on android and have tried unistalling, reinstalling, factory reseting my phone so I have enough space and tried turning off the animations in game, but that didn't work either. I tried downloading it on another device, but it was the same result. Maybe after my 5th or 6th attempt and it failing again, an error notification popped up telling me the game had a bug that was causing it to crash . Has this happened to anyone else? Is there an older version of the game I could download to try and play?
I'm sorry, that's happening. Though, when a program can't work for various reasons Androids give a generic reply that it's a bug. But if there was a bug, it'd be reported by the game rather than Android. It not being able to load on Android in that way is usually a compatibility or settings problem. You can try to see if your device doesn't let you play games from not from Google Playstore or if your virus scanner has decided not to let it run because it seems suspicious.

Confession time, I actually play through Steam and have all the currently available DLC through them. I gush for Derek and his brothers. (But I felt dropping a rating here as well never hurt ^.^)
The art is absolutely stunning. I fell in love with first firefly. The sound effects also seem perfectly placed to keep you immersed in the story.
I also adore how many choices you get to make! And I still have no idea which ones are important or not for what will shape Cove as you grow; which has made repeat playthroughs still fun and exciting.
I would be more than happy to buy more DLC for this game if more was to come out in the future.
This is my feel good game after I play my spicy games or the ones with horror tones. This game just wraps my up in a big hug with my lesbian moms, sometimes snotty older sister, and the best damn friend you sometimes kiss across the street.
Thank you for making this game and be so amazing to offer it up for the amazing price of free.

I'll be honest I'm really glad i gave this game a shot. I know I'm not the target audience or anything but this game was really enjoyable even though I played it as a straight guy who was just Coves bro through out the years. I know I missed out on some content but the game does an awesome job of making it feel like you aren't actually missing out on anything.
I've sunk probably 40 hours in this game and am still combing through DLC events and finding new dialogue still. This is one of my top games of all time, and whenever im feeling a little blue this game cheers me right up. I love starting a new run with different personalities to see how it changes scenes. The vast dialogue is almost like a constant writer's prompt, teaching me how good dialogue and character development are SUPPOSED to flow. 10/10, so happy I bought every piece of content.
I see people gushing over the demo, and the demo doesn't even do the game justice with just how good it is, to the point I believe this is my first review on a game that wasn't short. This game truly deserves all of the praise it gets and then some.
It turns out that the amount of free space needed for the Android version to run is much more than what the game actually takes up.
I had to have ~8 GB (about 10-15% of my phone’s storage capacity) of free space on my phone for both this and the OLNF demo for them to run, despite the fact that the combined size of both games is ~2.7 GB (without OLBA’s DLC).
(I’ll also note that I had deleted the installation APKs to make more space before I got either game to successfully run, and that the games were run on a Galaxy A30.)

I was just finished download it and wanna try to play but now I am curious, does the derek and baxter dlc make them the romanceable character? if so what is gonna happen to cove?
Yeah, you can romance Derek or Baxter if you get their DLCs, or you can just follow their story while being their friend. You can keep Cove as a friend or romance him still if you're not romancing Derek or Baxter. But Cove appears very little in Derek's story and Baxter's story.

You don't need DLC to finish the game! The story from start to end is free. You can just get more scenes along the way if you buy the DLCs.

Hello, thank you so much for your hard work and creating a game so wonderful! I've been trying to play the game for the past couple of days, but can never get past the main screen without it ultimately crashing and closing out completely. I'm playing on android and have tried unistalling, reinstalling, factory reseting my phone so I have enough space and tried turning off the animations in game, but that didn't work either. I tried downloading it on another device, but it was the same result. Maybe after my 5th or 6th attempt and it failing again, an error notification popped up telling me the game had a bug that was causing it to crash . Has this happened to anyone else? Is there an older version of the game I could download to try and play?
I'm sorry, that's happening. Though, when a program can't work for various reasons Androids give a generic reply that it's a bug. But if there was a bug, it'd be reported by the game rather than Android. It not being able to load on Android in that way is usually a compatibility or settings problem. You can try to see if your device doesn't let you play games from not from Google Playstore or if your virus scanner has decided not to let it run because it seems suspicious.
