I finished the demo a couple days ago and have been thinking about it nonstop since, so I thought I'd comment. This game is so beautifully made and it's not even finished yet! I felt so immersed in the story, and I was just filled with so much love and nostalgia. I finished the demo and was SO satisfied! It was just the right amount of game play that left me wanting more. I check the GBPatch socials and this page every day for updates, I'm so excited for the full release! I think, from what I have played, that this game is top tier. Art is perfection, story and customizations are immaculate. I have nothing bad to say. As someone who loves romance and otome style games, I HIGHLY recommend everyone play this. okay so i literally made an account just so i can say how much i LOVE this game. ive been waiting for the game to release for ages and im so happy with it so far! i love the art and the game itself is so fun! i have waited SO long for a game that lets you customize your own character. this is one of the best visual novel games i have played! the story line is perfect so far and i have NOTHING negative to say about it. i cant stress how much i love it. i cant wait for the full game to release.
This game has the most immersive and inclusive system I have ever seen, from the customization of how you look and how even Cove looks down to the questions other characters can ask in game and the diverse amount of ways you can answer, catering to the individual personalities of whoever might be playing! It really is an awe inducing sight and the gameplay is just as adorable and makes you feel like you really are living out your life within this game world and I commend the team for so meticulously crafting it! The story so far has been quite touching without lacking in emotional complexity. It was a bit of a shocker we get to manipulate Cove's feelings as well but having that be an option just adds to the all-inclusiveness. Another thing I adore is the diversity and essentially how open-minded the cast are no matter what kind of character you choose to be! I wish I could fit all my feelings about this game in a single comment but I can't seem to express how great of an idea this was and how amazing it is to feel to be in the generation that gets to experience it. I can't buy or contribute anything as I am too young but in the future, I am excited to lend my support to the development of this project! I wish you all the best of luck!

I'm sorry for the confusion! The current file is just a demo. There's only one Step 2 event that's able to be played right now. The others won't be available until the project releases in November, or unless someone is beta testing the game. I hope that's understandable. And I'm glad you like the game ^^.
If I would like to play, but being a visual novel it would be difficult for me to translate the dialogues into Spanish, since I am not always good at English :(

I found this game on YouTube, and I was hoping to download and play it, although I cannot figure out how to start it on my PC and was hoping there was somewhere that I can go that has step-by-step instructions?
I've been struggling with trying to figure it out for a few hours but please take your time with responding.
Thank you for wanting to try the game! To play it on PC you'll need to download the PC file and have some kind of file unzipper, like Winzip or 7zip. Then you just left or right click the downloaded file, depending on how things are set up for your unzipper, and have it unzipped. That'll get you a folder of stuff. Inside the folder will be an icon which you can click to start the demo.
For more direct help, try searching "how to unzip a file on [whichever type of PC you're using]" and then you'll be able to find more specific guides/videos. I hope that helps!

1. The colors have a loose meaning, usually indicating tone, but it's not super strict and there's no points specifically associated with each color. So you won't always get the same results if you always pick the same color.
2. Shiloh in OL is indeed the same person from XOXO Droplets! And so in Jeremy in Step 2. We like having cameos, haha.

The public demo is really long and the game will be free when it comes out in a few months :]. The Patreon stuff isn't crucial to the experience, nobody has to pay through there or other means if they don't want to.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I just had to for this game. It’s phenomenal! I’ve played a lot of romantic visual novels, but they don’t even come close to Our Life! Where do I start? The great writing? The beautiful art? The variety of choices? The character creator? Cove selection? The way you can dictate how the relationship develops? Ugh, everything about this game is so perfect and unique. It’s written so that the choices really feel like they have an impact, and that it’s tailored to your personal experience/character. It’s just so well made and it’s clear a lot of work’s been put into it. Kudos!
I don’t really know what else to say without going on a long rant about why this game is so amazing, so I’ll leave it at that I can’t wait for the final release, and I’ll 100% be buying all the DLCs as soon as possible. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into this!

The DLCs will cost between $3USD-$5USD, depending on the type of DLC it is. The first three that are coming out in November will all be 4, so it'll be $12USD to get them in total. And we'll also probably have a little discount off the price at some point, too.

I have rarely been so exited for a game, any game, but this is just so amazing already! Lovingly crafted, the characters are interesting and entertaining (Cove is just to precious!), the sheer mass of choices, and don't let me get start about the gogeous art or I'll be gushing for a fortnight!
Ok so, I usually never EVER write any comments, but this beautiful masterpiece deserves it. First off, I love the nostalgic atmosphere it gives, I just love the way it reminds me of my own childhood. Second of all, COVE! I love his character so much, and the fact that we can even change his personality based on what choices we choose, And the choices we make are also pretty realistic! it's just amazing! I legit played the demo at least 4 or 5 times this weekend and i can't get enough of it. I'm so exited for the full release. This is truly a masterpiece!

You’ve certainly succeeded in creating a nostalgic feel to the entire game. You could tell me that the game was my past life and I’d believe you! The options felt human, the characters were entertaining and definitely captured how mostly unpredictable and how children would be. It felt amazing being able to ‘grow up’ with the cast and just b e i n g there, you know? It had such a drawing presence to the entire thing— I couldn’t take my eyes away. Like, dude, I didn’t even take breaks even if I needed to piss really badly. I was stuck on my screen for who knows how long, and I’m definitely doing it again. I can tell how much effort that was put into this and bOY is it just-- m u w a h. And how the characters blinked and looked at you before they disappeared off screen? Even though they barely moved much aside from that, it still felt so lively. Their expressions and their speeches— Oh boy, you know who’s recommending this to literally every weeb they know for weeks on end. This deserves so much more recognition!! I was so surprised at how?? HELLO?? WHERE IS THE FANDOM??? I thought there would be a much bigger following, smh. This game really, really deserves a lot! And honestly, thank you for the variety of choices that I feel most games lacked. Sure, they each have some type of thing they’re stereotyped into. But the way its presented and how they’re all generally an option that people would actually/pick/? Damn, that’s some stuff right there. So really, thank you and whatever team you have for creating this masterpiece. I hope the virus isn’t affecting things too bad :(, and lmao uH- sorry for this long message. The DLCs will cost between $3USD-$5USD, depending on the type of DLC it is. The first three that are coming out in November will all be 4, so it'll be $12USD to get them in total. And we'll also probably have a little discount off the price at some point, too.

I literally think this is my favorite game, i had the version right before the update and just took time to go through the whole game again and still had the same amount of fun I had the first time I played it. I can't wait until its fully finished!

I have rarely been so exited for a game, any game, but this is just so amazing already! Lovingly crafted, the characters are interesting and entertaining (Cove is just to precious!), the sheer mass of choices, and don't let me get start about the gogeous art or I'll be gushing for a fortnight!

Ok so, I usually never EVER write any comments, but this beautiful masterpiece deserves it. First off, I love the nostalgic atmosphere it gives, I just love the way it reminds me of my own childhood. Second of all, COVE! I love his character so much, and the fact that we can even change his personality based on what choices we choose, And the choices we make are also pretty realistic! it's just amazing! I legit played the demo at least 4 or 5 times this weekend and i can't get enough of it. I'm so exited for the full release. This is truly a masterpiece!

I just played the demo, 4 am in the morning and god knows when I’ll sleep— but hEll, this is so??
You’ve certainly succeeded in creating a nostalgic feel to the entire game. You could tell me that the game was my past life and I’d believe you! The options felt human, the characters were entertaining and definitely captured how mostly unpredictable and how children would be. It felt amazing being able to ‘grow up’ with the cast and just b e i n g there, you know? It had such a drawing presence to the entire thing— I couldn’t take my eyes away. Like, dude, I didn’t even take breaks even if I needed to piss really badly. I was stuck on my screen for who knows how long, and I’m definitely doing it again. I can tell how much effort that was put into this and bOY is it just-- m u w a h. And how the characters blinked and looked at you before they disappeared off screen? Even though they barely moved much aside from that, it still felt so lively. Their expressions and their speeches— Oh boy, you know who’s recommending this to literally every weeb they know for weeks on end. This deserves so much more recognition!! I was so surprised at how?? HELLO?? WHERE IS THE FANDOM??? I thought there would be a much bigger following, smh. This game really, really deserves a lot! And honestly, thank you for the variety of choices that I feel most games lacked. Sure, they each have some type of thing they’re stereotyped into. But the way its presented and how they’re all generally an option that people would actually/pick/? Damn, that’s some stuff right there. So really, thank you and whatever team you have for creating this masterpiece. I hope the virus isn’t affecting things too bad :(, and lmao uH- sorry for this long message.
