I don’t know if you mean if with the ‘new version’ you mean if the characters are in their teens, but no! The demo is still mainly focused on the characters being ten-year-olds.
We still have a small preview of Step 2, but if you played the demo a long while ago, when the preview was that you went to the love interests/Qiu’s backyard (I think?) to pick them up and go to school, that has changed! You now have a preview of the start of the day before where you go over to both Tamarack and Qiu’s houses to check up on both. (Just a general check up on Qiu, and help Tamarack with a call with her mom.) In the beginning where you talk to your mom she says the both of you’ll go and get a phone after that, however that is not in the preview if I’m correct. (It’s been a bit since I’ve played as well, so take this with a grain of salt, please!)
I don’t know how long the feature has been around, but you can choose what type of hair your mom has as well! If I recall, you got a given hair type/style depending on which skin colour you chose for Opal, but if my memory serves me correctly you can pick for yourself now.
Again, PLEASE take this with a grain of salt since I have not played OLNF for a few weeks now, but I don’t think there have been any major updates. 😣
some information i could not fit into the drawing: in his first two years of high school he was a part of the football team before quitting to focus on his role as guitarist in the music club, though he did still sometimes join the team for practice just for fun.
also: he has both ADHD and Autism(which i added based on myself as i have both as well). he was undiagnosed up until his first year of high school where he started having some issues so he went and finally got diagnosed Autism and ADHD.
his favourite subjects are: science(only when they get to do cool experiment stuff), PE, Music, and programming, also occasionally nature|biology but only when it is about the sea and marine life.
fun fact!: sometimes he gets in detention for punching someone who bullies a friend of his, this used to affect his grades as a punishment, but they stopped affecting his grades once the school staff realised it did not discourage his behaviour.
also his nickname is sharky because he loves sharks and just like sharks he might seem unfriendly and have a spiky exterior but he is surprisingly playful and nice.
For Kathryne, I’d associate her with the Lavender Town theme from Pokémon Red/Blue. She’s has a fascination with the occult and is considered to be kind of weird and creepy by step 2.

If you had to give your mc(s) the most useless superpower you could think of, what would it be? It can be whatever power you want, the only condition is that it has to be basically pointless. For example, your character could fly, but at the speed of molasses.
Kathryne’s would be teleportation, but it’s completely random. She could just teleport and be in another country or the bottom of the sea. Bacon would have the ability to absorb all the momentum and impact of an attack, but they feel the full impact of whatever hits them. Meaning if they stopped a runaway train, they’d still suffer the damage of getting hit by a train.
Dimensional travel😎 Yurim gonna do adventure and Slaye a dragon/demon or become a legend, maybe go to the world the one books you read or games but the things is you start with nothing
Oh lord. Being able to travel to the world of the last book or game he read/played would be interesting. It could be good if he traveled into a nice world like Pokémon, but then you realize that it also means he could enter the world of Lovcraftian horror.

Me first! I'm 149cm (I grow taller if anyone remembers my height the last time I talked about it lol) and Alios is always the same height as me. (But in the game they're at average height). Alios would just chill out alone for 12 hours straight while I stare at them, seriously jealous of the way they look so much neutral gender, unlike me 😮💨

I’m 5ft 9in (freedom units) or roughly 175.25cm. Kathryne is 3ft 7in or 109cm, and Bacon is 4ft 6in (137cm).
If I was alone with Kathryne, we probably wouldn’t talk much, both of us are socially awkward and so we’d just sit there until one of us gets bored and decides to talk. Bacon and I would get along well, he’d tire me out after a while due to his nature. But since both he and I are special ed, I have enough understanding and experience on how to interact with him.
so last time i checked i was 169cm (5’6), and i’m a little older than step 2 ko so’ll just go with his step 2 height, which is 6’1 (180 ish cms) as well as his personality.
if we were locked up in a room together… we’d probably do okay. I think we’d just yap about how much we both hate school and how our crushes (for me, qiu actually likes kojo back) don’t like us back. 😭 that and i’m a fairly sleepy guy so i’d just sleep against him or something.
Well i didn't measure my height for quite the long time , but i know i am quite the tall one Since i can stare down at people when i am on the bus and I am nearly as tall as the doors in my house , as for my gremlin Leaf i'd say she's a good 4ft 7 , as for my relationship with her , i'd say i would be a pretty good friend with her with me taking mostly the role of an overprotective father , because there is no way in the world that i am watching her do some actions she might regret later firstly and i am not leaving a scared kid that i know alone secondly

I think I’d ATTEMPT to make small talk with her until I bring up writing lyrics and poetry and then we’ll just yal until we sit in comfortable silence, or I’ll ask her questions about the story I’m wiring like ‘does the charachter dynamic sound good’ or ‘should I eliminate this guy or this guy in the story’

Yurim is also friendly and kind to everyone that's why yurim is popular or known by others (really likes helping others but sometimes it's too much. Need someone to look out for them)
(also Yurim think Runie and Domian cute together🤭 but can't save them when Qiu and Tamarack are planning to snatching him back)

Note: not even classmates would do if they don't approach Alios aggressively like Qiu & Tama did), that's just how they are. So I'll just tell you what Alios thinks of them & what ifs.
Runie (could be friends): They're comfortable with him, low-key have some chance of being friends if they're in the same class. Would go "Is it him getting in some weird trouble?" in their head if he ever got dragged around by some horses and flew up a tree? They like his hair and whatever he is wearing outside of his clothes, by the way :)
Damian (could not): They would never be friends, I guess. If they're 'a friend of a friend', they would stay like that forever, just like how Baxter and Ren were. As I said, Alios is super distant when it comes to friends rather than being polite.
Sonia (if they ever are friends): Do you know Tamarack? Yes, that patable head. Even their energy level match, too. If they ever become friends, Alios would treat her like their little sister, always looking out for her first in a room full of people (including their romantic partner/ crush).
Qinru (could not): The reason is a bit personal, tbh (Alios is my persona, after all,, haha). She's too pretty, that would damage their eyesight (in imagination) if they meet her every day, one Qiu is enough...!

I don’t know much about your characters as I haven’t been on here for too long. Thus, I’m only going off of what I do know as well as educated guesses.
Bacon would love everyone unless they were mean to him or Kathryne. Specifically, I think they’d hit it off with Runie as some people consider Bacon a freak of nature and they’re simultaneously made fun of and respected for it. This is due to their unnaturally high weight that makes no sense for their size. Even Runie might struggle to lift them. So they’d likely bond over that..
Kathryne would likely be distant at first but she might eventually come around to the group.. She especially has trouble dealing with extroverts so the more aggressively they approach her, the high the wall she puts up. Also, if she’s only starting to get along with one of them and they try to introduce her to the rest of the group, she’d shrink back into her shell in a heartbeat. It’s possible for them to be friends, it’d just take a lot of work.
Yo thats actually so interesting!! I feel like Runie would have so much fun trying to lift Bacon because theyre the first one to actually challenge him! If they ever were to spar or train together theyd probably tie most of the time :D

That’s a fun idea to have them spar, Bacon isn’t actually that strong, just heavy. Although weight classes do exist in fighting for a reason.
But it’s good that the group can dial their energy back a bit. But I just envision either Runie or Sonia trying to make friends first and failing. Then watching in confusion when Damian actually succeeds at getting the little turtle to come out of its shell.

Maeve would really trust Runie and she’d go to them when overwhelmed with things. Or when she’s feeling down. And she’d always be there for Runie whenever they need anything too (actively ships Runie and Damien)
haruki and Runie I’m not very wut ei think they’d know each other. I think they’re have the potential too be friends I just doubt Haruki would actively go up to them (he’s a pretty judgy person) bc he’ll be like ‘oh this guy isn’t my usual hang he’s too soft and delicate I’ll just adopt him instead’ and then he’ll be like ‘WOAH he’s strong dang I need his workout routine-‘ and Haruki will try and set him up with Damien.
For Damien and Maeve I think they’re very similar so I’m not sure WHO’D introduce themself first (heterochromia, freckles, selectively mute, singer…) but I think they’d be really good buddies once they open up to each other. Yeah, she’s gone through a lot. Needless to say, she isn’t too big a fan of Golden Grove in the beginning as a lot of stuff goes wrong just after moving. But while she was scared, she’d known it was coming for a while. She’s always needed glasses but her vision started to decline at around age 7 due to an unknown disease.

Hmmm i would have Wanted to try this since i am trying to get into digital art lately but we are entering the exams rush period next week , darn it highschool surely is merciless when it wants to be huh.
from experience, digital art is really useful, and tricky. but lol, hope u finish the exam period cuz digital art sometimes get things done better then traditional art, like stabilization of the pen, if u make a mistake you can just eliminate it, but that depends on the program you use, if u use phone. Ibis paint is normally the go-for option, I use Ibis paint and it even can animate like flipaclip. but if u use tablet or other, I would say procreate (I know everyone says that mostly) is good, or sketchbook apps. Sometimes you just need to go hours trying find the best app... or just use the notes to paint
Yup! Digital art makes certain things easier and allows you to add much smaller details. Although I find that I actually end up drawing better on paper than on my computer. :P
Technically yes but you still have to draw it in the first place so I don’t consider it to be bad. If you’re simply trying to convert a physical drawing to a digital one, then I think that’s fine. Besides, how do you think I made the digital remake of my drawings so fast? The scanner on a printer is a very useful tool my friend.

for kath ... kojo wouldn't be surprised. he's a tall man (6'5) and pretty buff. he has a good amount of tattoos despite his deep-but-soft voice (alucard from castlevania: nocturne) so yeah. he'd try to make her feel the most comfy possible though !!
Runie: GYM BROS AND BROS FO LIFE!! Runie would find Kojo cool like a big brother!! He admires his fashion and how he can make songs. Runie would give him snacks sometimes when he visits Kojo or give him little knitted keychains (honestly he’d give them to anyone hes very close with and theyd symbolise what they are to him). Runie would give Kojo knitted pokemon keychains of his favs, symbols of his favorite artists/bands or something that he’d like and mentioned off handedly.
Damian: Sees Kojo as a little brother and has fun teasing him (even though they’re both certified yearners LOL) He enjoys making songs with him and Maeve and loves singing together with them as well. I’d think that Kojo has pictures of every emotion Damian has ever made due to how dang expressive that man is with his emotions. Overall a more familial bond.
Sonia: has a small admiration for him! He’s not CLOSE close with him but I think she’d get along with him well. Her tiny crush/admiration doesnt get that far though, she likes him as a friend and a colleague than as a lover. Sonia would hang out with him sometimes in coffee shops or help him, Damian and Maeve to fix their music equipments as she has a hobby of fixing things. :)
Shen Qinru: Would NOT like him. Shes a very haughty and very confident girl but doesnt like him because of his personality. She’d openly show her dislike for him which (sorry if I mischaracterize your character pls correct me if i did!!) would make Kojo annoyed and always give her the stank eye. I feel like their dynamic would embody the song What is this Feeling from the Wicked Musical LMAO! (Of course they’d both mellow down as they grow up but theyre still very snarky with e/o)

Kojo to Runie: DEFO BROS AND GYM BROS. Kojo would see Runie as a little brother too!! he'd definitely be dotting on runie because even though he's supernaturally strong, kojo doesn't want him to strain his muscles or get an injury. In return for Runie giving him all those gifts, Ko would deffo buy him more crafting supplies along with small trinkets, help with his hair, anything to make sure Runie's just as loved ☹️💗 (e.g. learning Filipino/Tagalog for Runie ❤️)
Kojo to Damian: Sees him as a big brother too! Would probably roll his eyes amusingly at Damian's teasing and tease him back. He enjoys writing songs with Maeve and him as well (probably has some songs of admiration abt the two, as well as poems cuz he's a NERD) Kojo's camera roll is deffo full with pics of Damian & him and Damian. Kojo would also help with hair care i think, since even though Ko silk-presses his hair 'cause he's not good with time and therefore barely HAS time to do his hair if he had his afro, he still knows how to care for it. Very familial, yes.
Kojo to Sonia: He's kind of oblivious so he wouldn't get the fact that Sonia has a small crush on him. (Unfortunately for her he is gay so even if he did he wouldn't return the feelings.) They'd be good friends regardless, though, even if they're not locked in like a tyrap or wtv. Hang outs would probably include some gossip (i think sonia is a gossiper, correct me if i'm wrong of course!), and Kojo would let her fix the equipment but watch very closely 'cause he's that type of guy.
Kojo to Shen Qinru: I think he'd be confused at first, but then learn she's haughty and probably absolutely loathe it when she'd be in the same room as him. Especially teenage Kojo. He'd also openly show his dislike for her, very bluntly and very rudely, and would ABSOLUTELY give her side-eyes and sigh loudly whenever she does something as small as breathe. As they grow up Kojo'd still dislike her 'cause she dislikes him. But if Qinru isn't being rude towards him he'd probably try to atleast be on SOME kind of good terms because being in a room with people who can only yap about how they don't like him is kind of a waste of his time and since she's Runie's friend as well, and he sees Runie as his little brother, he doesn't want the mood to sour js because of their mainly one-sided beef. (grown up Kojo has zero interest in people who don't like him so i would imagine it's mainly Qinru who initiates the beef.)
MAEVE AND KOJO WOULD BE BESTIES trust trust 🙏 they’d write songs together about their doomed gay romances they’d be chill together and if they’re besties besties she would probably rant to him ab literally anything once she gets over that her accent does not sound bad

Also, sorry to tell you but Kojo is not a therapist friend in the slightest. 💔💔 He actually hates it when people vent to him because he can't relate most of the time, or he's 'too' blunt and can't help anyway. Only when people close to him ask, he’d TRY to help and listen. But was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Compton, California at age seven. He made a few friends there, and learned Mexican Spanish from the lady next door. When he was ten, he moved up a state to Golden Grove, Oregon.

I think Liam and Bacon would be great friends. Because he works in a daycare, Liam would definitely have the skills and patience to deal with Bacon, since they’re mentally still a kid even in step 2. Also, I could even see him following Liam around like a puppy.
Kathryne is a bit trickier. It’s not that she isn’t friendly, but has a hard time trusting people and doesn’t open up at all unless she gets to know you well. I feel like they could be friends but Liam would definitely have to work for it. I think that KitKat would get to know Liam through Bacon but from there it could go one of two ways, either they’d also become friends by both hanging around Bacon or KitKat would let the two boys be and remain more neutral.
oh I’m sure he’d want to get along with Kathryne. But I’m not sure if she’d want to befriend him. It really just depends how close he is with Bacon since she trusts her brother more than anyone and won’t leave the house without him for all of step 1.
i think Runie and Liam’s relationship would start out a bit badly maybe Liam would get absolutely terrified of Runie and get the wrong idea of what their personality is and Runie would think Liam thinks of him as a weird person. ( i hope i didnt mischaracterize him QwQ)

I think of Haruki mellows out they’d be good (he’ll tolerate Liam’s fashion sense and take them shopping) but not BEST BEST of friends but I think I’d get along idk
for Maeve uh I think she’d be scared of him at first bc they’d think he’s so cool and stuff. But since he’s lowkey she’ll trust him earlier. Then eventually they’ll try to get WOW him and buy her first pair of crocs to match with him discreetly (it’ll stand out with her outfit style it’s not discrete 😔) but overall I think they’ll be good friends, I may or may have made more trauma for Maeve when she gets into the singing industry so she might go back to being lowkey and be a music teacher 🎵

I think they still look pretty similar. Just that art style matched OLBA the way it was supposed to. This Baxter was still based from our first Baxter- and here he's really a kid, probably younger than when he first appears in the DLCs of the other OL.
I love my boy no matter what form he appears in😭so sad when I remembered he probably wouldn't be part of later steps aside from 1 because he was older and I remember him mentioning how he fell out of touch with his friends in his youth in OLBA.

Are the Demo presented here the new version or are they still in toddler phase?
I don’t know if you mean if with the ‘new version’ you mean if the characters are in their teens, but no! The demo is still mainly focused on the characters being ten-year-olds.
We still have a small preview of Step 2, but if you played the demo a long while ago, when the preview was that you went to the love interests/Qiu’s backyard (I think?) to pick them up and go to school, that has changed! You now have a preview of the start of the day before where you go over to both Tamarack and Qiu’s houses to check up on both. (Just a general check up on Qiu, and help Tamarack with a call with her mom.) In the beginning where you talk to your mom she says the both of you’ll go and get a phone after that, however that is not in the preview if I’m correct. (It’s been a bit since I’ve played as well, so take this with a grain of salt, please!)
I don’t know how long the feature has been around, but you can choose what type of hair your mom has as well! If I recall, you got a given hair type/style depending on which skin colour you chose for Opal, but if my memory serves me correctly you can pick for yourself now.
Again, PLEASE take this with a grain of salt since I have not played OLNF for a few weeks now, but I don’t think there have been any major updates. 😣

some information i could not fit into the drawing: in his first two years of high school he was a part of the football team before quitting to focus on his role as guitarist in the music club, though he did still sometimes join the team for practice just for fun.
also: he has both ADHD and Autism(which i added based on myself as i have both as well). he was undiagnosed up until his first year of high school where he started having some issues so he went and finally got diagnosed Autism and ADHD.
his favourite subjects are: science(only when they get to do cool experiment stuff), PE, Music, and programming, also occasionally nature|biology but only when it is about the sea and marine life.
fun fact!: sometimes he gets in detention for punching someone who bullies a friend of his, this used to affect his grades as a punishment, but they stopped affecting his grades once the school staff realised it did not discourage his behaviour.
also his nickname is sharky because he loves sharks and just like sharks he might seem unfriendly and have a spiky exterior but he is surprisingly playful and nice.

Mahana loves basketball and can be competitive but she is also very velcoming to any new friends or strangers and is glad to take other rookies in sports under her wing.
June is a sassy gremlin who likes to get up to trouble and her soft appearance often helps her get away with that. she also has a big sweet tooth.
and lastly Brutus is that one cousin who is high like every family gathering you see him at. and although he is closed off a lot, he is way more open to people once he gets to know them.

Odessa is a slow thinker, she's never really cared for academics or really anything. She does care for family and friends though. She has her own unique way to solve problems and has some anger issues she's also very sporty and is the main reason Liam is so sunburnt lol
Their main conflict in their friendship is Odessa plans on leaving after highschool and living alone and isolated Liam is terrified of his friends and family leaving him, but goes with the flow with life.

If you had to give your mc(s) the most useless superpower you could think of, what would it be? It can be whatever power you want, the only condition is that it has to be basically pointless. For example, your character could fly, but at the speed of molasses.
Kathryne’s would be teleportation, but it’s completely random. She could just teleport and be in another country or the bottom of the sea.
Bacon would have the ability to absorb all the momentum and impact of an attack, but they feel the full impact of whatever hits them. Meaning if they stopped a runaway train, they’d still suffer the damage of getting hit by a train.
Dimensional travel😎 Yurim gonna do adventure and Slaye a dragon/demon or become a legend, maybe go to the world the one books you read or games but the things is you start with nothing
Oh lord. Being able to travel to the world of the last book or game he read/played would be interesting. It could be good if he traveled into a nice world like Pokémon, but then you realize that it also means he could enter the world of Lovcraftian horror.

Me first! I'm 149cm (I grow taller if anyone remembers my height the last time I talked about it lol) and Alios is always the same height as me. (But in the game they're at average height). Alios would just chill out alone for 12 hours straight while I stare at them, seriously jealous of the way they look so much neutral gender, unlike me 😮💨

I’m 5ft 9in (freedom units) or roughly 175.25cm. Kathryne is 3ft 7in or 109cm, and Bacon is 4ft 6in (137cm).
If I was alone with Kathryne, we probably wouldn’t talk much, both of us are socially awkward and so we’d just sit there until one of us gets bored and decides to talk. Bacon and I would get along well, he’d tire me out after a while due to his nature. But since both he and I are special ed, I have enough understanding and experience on how to interact with him.

As for Alios, I think none of them would even be friends if there's nothing to bond them together (like *wink* neighbors *wink*, a friend of a friend,... Note: not even classmates would do if they don't approach Alios aggressively like Qiu & Tama did), that's just how they are. So I'll just tell you what Alios thinks of them & what ifs.
Runie (could be friends): They're comfortable with him, low-key have some chance of being friends if they're in the same class. Would go "Is it him getting in some weird trouble?" in their head if he ever got dragged around by some horses and flew up a tree? They like his hair and whatever he is wearing outside of his clothes, by the way :)
Damian (could not): They would never be friends, I guess. If they're 'a friend of a friend', they would stay like that forever, just like how Baxter and Ren were. As I said, Alios is super distant when it comes to friends rather than being polite.
Sonia (if they ever are friends): Do you know Tamarack? Yes, that patable head. Even their energy level match, too. If they ever become friends, Alios would treat her like their little sister, always looking out for her first in a room full of people (including their romantic partner/ crush).
Qinru (could not): The reason is a bit personal, tbh (Alios is my persona, after all,, haha). She's too pretty, that would damage their eyesight (in imagination) if they meet her every day, one Qiu is enough...!

I don’t know much about your characters as I haven’t been on here for too long. Thus, I’m only going off of what I do know as well as educated guesses.
Bacon would love everyone unless they were mean to him or Kathryne. Specifically, I think they’d hit it off with Runie as some people consider Bacon a freak of nature and they’re simultaneously made fun of and respected for it. This is due to their unnaturally high weight that makes no sense for their size. Even Runie might struggle to lift them. So they’d likely bond over that..
Kathryne would likely be distant at first but she might eventually come around to the group.. She especially has trouble dealing with extroverts so the more aggressively they approach her, the high the wall she puts up. Also, if she’s only starting to get along with one of them and they try to introduce her to the rest of the group, she’d shrink back into her shell in a heartbeat. It’s possible for them to be friends, it’d just take a lot of work.
Yo thats actually so interesting!! I feel like Runie would have so much fun trying to lift Bacon because theyre the first one to actually challenge him! If they ever were to spar or train together theyd probably tie most of the time :D

she’d honestly be more comfortable with Qinru and Damian because theyre both soft spoken and chill. (Even if Qinru is considered by “Haughty” many people shes really understanding) Damian is naturally gentle-natured so he’ll be able to get along with her too.
Runie and Sonia can let go of their very energetic behavior so Kathryne wont get overwhelmed, they can be gentle when they need to be hehe :3
That’s a fun idea to have them spar, Bacon isn’t actually that strong, just heavy. Although weight classes do exist in fighting for a reason.
But it’s good that the group can dial their energy back a bit. But I just envision either Runie or Sonia trying to make friends first and failing. Then watching in confusion when Damian actually succeeds at getting the little turtle to come out of its shell.

Leaf Would be that one kid always hiding behind the other kids when a picture being taken, and with that said and depending on the Question about the little quirks the MCs had i'd say Leaf would be enamoured she would look up to the other MCs as they are some kind of idols , you better believe you will have a hard time separating her From those she looks soo highly at.
Leaf is so precious omg ahdbhahdns Runie, Damian, Sonia, and Qinru would honestly be super doting towards her. Like shes that little sister they show BLATANT favoritism towards and it gets on people’s (who admire them) nerves but they’d protect her from them regardless 😌
Maeve and Runie are each others close comfort friends I think. I’d think they’re really close. Maeve would admire Runie and think they’re so pretty and strong, she’d fully trust Runie and always comfort them and secretly wants to them to braid their hair. And she’d always be there for Runie whenever they need anything too (actively ships Runie and Damien)
haruki and Runie I’m not very wut ei think they’d know each other. I think they’re have the potential too be friends I just doubt Haruki would actively go up to them (he’s a pretty judgy person) bc he’ll be like ‘oh this guy isn’t my usual hang he’s too soft and delicate I’ll just adopt him instead’ and then he’ll be like ‘WOAH he’s strong dang I need his workout routine-‘ and Haruki will try and set him up with Damien.
For Damien and Maeve I think they’re very similar so I’m not sure WHO’D introduce themself first (heterochromia, freckles, selectively mute, singer…) but I think they’d be really good buddies once they open up to each other. Yeah, she’s gone through a lot. Needless to say, she isn’t too big a fan of Golden Grove in the beginning as a lot of stuff goes wrong just after moving. But while she was scared, she’d known it was coming for a while. She’s always needed glasses but her vision started to decline at around age 7 due to an unknown disease.

Hmmm i would have Wanted to try this since i am trying to get into digital art lately but we are entering the exams rush period next week , darn it highschool surely is merciless when it wants to be huh.
from experience, digital art is really useful, and tricky. but lol, hope u finish the exam period cuz digital art sometimes get things done better then traditional art, like stabilization of the pen, if u make a mistake you can just eliminate it, but that depends on the program you use, if u use phone. Ibis paint is normally the go-for option, I use Ibis paint and it even can animate like flipaclip. but if u use tablet or other, I would say procreate (I know everyone says that mostly) is good, or sketchbook apps. Sometimes you just need to go hours trying find the best app... or just use the notes to paint
Yup! Digital art makes certain things easier and allows you to add much smaller details. Although I find that I actually end up drawing better on paper than on my computer. :P

Technically yes but you still have to draw it in the first place so I don’t consider it to be bad. If you’re simply trying to convert a physical drawing to a digital one, then I think that’s fine. Besides, how do you think I made the digital remake of my drawings so fast? The scanner on a printer is a very useful tool my friend.

i loved kale's question so i'm stealing it 🙏 not writing kojo lore but i AM drafting the layout for the first few chapters of the shedding snake and the star. (minqiu/koqiu fic yayaya) so erm,, if we're talking about the mcverse, what would your mc's (or non-mcs') relationship with kojo be ?? 💗
I feel like Kathryne would be intimidated by Kojo while Bacon try to be friends with him but would get on his nerves because Bacon would constantly try to hug him.
i don't think kojo would be annoyed/irritated by bacon, actually! maybe on certain days, yes. (he has autism so sensory issues 😞) but for the most part ko would be fine with them !!
for kath ... kojo wouldn't be surprised. he's a tall man (6'5) and pretty buff. he has a good amount of tattoos despite his deep-but-soft voice (alucard from castlevania: nocturne) so yeah. he'd try to make her feel the most comfy possible though !!

Runie: GYM BROS AND BROS FO LIFE!! Runie would find Kojo cool like a big brother!! He admires his fashion and how he can make songs. Runie would give him snacks sometimes when he visits Kojo or give him little knitted keychains (honestly he’d give them to anyone hes very close with and theyd symbolise what they are to him). Runie would give Kojo knitted pokemon keychains of his favs, symbols of his favorite artists/bands or something that he’d like and mentioned off handedly.
Damian: Sees Kojo as a little brother and has fun teasing him (even though they’re both certified yearners LOL) He enjoys making songs with him and Maeve and loves singing together with them as well. I’d think that Kojo has pictures of every emotion Damian has ever made due to how dang expressive that man is with his emotions. Overall a more familial bond.
Sonia: has a small admiration for him! He’s not CLOSE close with him but I think she’d get along with him well. Her tiny crush/admiration doesnt get that far though, she likes him as a friend and a colleague than as a lover. Sonia would hang out with him sometimes in coffee shops or help him, Damian and Maeve to fix their music equipments as she has a hobby of fixing things. :)
Shen Qinru: Would NOT like him. Shes a very haughty and very confident girl but doesnt like him because of his personality. She’d openly show her dislike for him which (sorry if I mischaracterize your character pls correct me if i did!!) would make Kojo annoyed and always give her the stank eye. I feel like their dynamic would embody the song What is this Feeling from the Wicked Musical LMAO! (Of course they’d both mellow down as they grow up but theyre still very snarky with e/o)
ITS FINE I LOVED READING THIS 💗 here's my interpertation. (ALSO LONG AS HELL LMAO)
Kojo to Runie: DEFO BROS AND GYM BROS. Kojo would see Runie as a little brother too!! he'd definitely be dotting on runie because even though he's supernaturally strong, kojo doesn't want him to strain his muscles or get an injury. In return for Runie giving him all those gifts, Ko would deffo buy him more crafting supplies along with small trinkets, help with his hair, anything to make sure Runie's just as loved ☹️💗 (e.g. learning Filipino/Tagalog for Runie ❤️)
Kojo to Damian: Sees him as a big brother too! Would probably roll his eyes amusingly at Damian's teasing and tease him back. He enjoys writing songs with Maeve and him as well (probably has some songs of admiration abt the two, as well as poems cuz he's a NERD) Kojo's camera roll is deffo full with pics of Damian & him and Damian. Kojo would also help with hair care i think, since even though Ko silk-presses his hair 'cause he's not good with time and therefore barely HAS time to do his hair if he had his afro, he still knows how to care for it. Very familial, yes.
Kojo to Sonia: He's kind of oblivious so he wouldn't get the fact that Sonia has a small crush on him. (Unfortunately for her he is gay so even if he did he wouldn't return the feelings.) They'd be good friends regardless, though, even if they're not locked in like a tyrap or wtv. Hang outs would probably include some gossip (i think sonia is a gossiper, correct me if i'm wrong of course!), and Kojo would let her fix the equipment but watch very closely 'cause he's that type of guy.
Kojo to Shen Qinru: I think he'd be confused at first, but then learn she's haughty and probably absolutely loathe it when she'd be in the same room as him. Especially teenage Kojo. He'd also openly show his dislike for her, very bluntly and very rudely, and would ABSOLUTELY give her side-eyes and sigh loudly whenever she does something as small as breathe. As they grow up Kojo'd still dislike her 'cause she dislikes him. But if Qinru isn't being rude towards him he'd probably try to atleast be on SOME kind of good terms because being in a room with people who can only yap about how they don't like him is kind of a waste of his time and since she's Runie's friend as well, and he sees Runie as his little brother, he doesn't want the mood to sour js because of their mainly one-sided beef. (grown up Kojo has zero interest in people who don't like him so i would imagine it's mainly Qinru who initiates the beef.)

If it's Sasuke from Naruto, he'd agree but also be a little bit awkward 'cause he is kind of based of him so they have a few similar traits. if not, then he'd just listen ig?? Depending on how annoying the questions are he'd either answer vaguely or just tell her to shut up 'cause annoying questions ARE annoying after all and Kojo isn't really all that patient or sugar coat-y.
Also, sorry to tell you but Kojo is not a therapist friend in the slightest. 💔💔 He actually hates it when people vent to him because he can't relate most of the time, or he's 'too' blunt and can't help anyway. Only when people close to him ask, he’d TRY to help and listen. I don't think they'd be that close of friends, maybe acquaintance,s but I don't think he'd really like Hasna 💔💔 she seems like an energetic girl that's just too energetic for Kojo's default half empty social battery. Kathryne is a bit trickier. It’s not that she isn’t friendly, but has a hard time trusting people and doesn’t open up at all unless she gets to know you well. I feel like they could be friends but Liam would definitely have to work for it. I think that KitKat would get to know Liam through Bacon but from there it could go one of two ways, either they’d also become friends by both hanging around Bacon or KitKat would let the two boys be and remain more neutral.
liam has the patience to become friends with them :) he'd try to act as bacons mentor but would treat them as his friend :)
