Hey, not sure how helpful this is but I just got this scene my first time playing. It's the beginning of part 3, A little dialogue after saying the summer ended for part 2, He came over to hangout/grab me for his mom's send off I confessed my feelings, laughed at his reaction, said things don't have to be different, then kissed him. I'm not sure if his personality settings also influence his reaction but I did change them in part 2 when given the opportunity: for his warmness I placed one away from the left and for the bottom one I placed it one away from the right. Hope this helps :)
I've played through the game like 6 times and in only one of the playthroughs I've been able to refer to Cliff and Kyra as dad and mom. Is there anything specific that has to happen for that to be an option?
I'm thinking it's about how much you help the family out and how early on. I got that option first playthrough and I think it's because I chose to talk about the secret in step 2, not later steps. But that's just a guess I have. Not sure if that is really the reason. I think it might also depend on the choices you make during moments? I think.
The game is BRILIANT. It was truly a special experience for me, and I never expected a game to tell someone's stages of life like this. For me it was very nostaligic and I could relate to the story or the events easily. Glad i played it untill the end of step 4. I don't know maybe I will try it again... XD
I liked how a part of story was in the player's hand, the art, the story, specially the characters. Just wanted to thank the creaters or developers, and anyone who had supported the project.
On Macs you might have to go through various folders to get to the right one. You can look at this screenshot, though the current DLC system uses an rpa file rather than another folder (in the screenshot it shows a step 1 dlc folder in the Our Life game folder).
It is absolutely crazy and wild that this game is free! So much customization and options that actually matter. It's insane this game isn't insanely popular. Well done!
i played this game a couple years back but never really got far because my laptop died. but I got reminded of it because of a friend and bought it a couple of days ago and now am on my second playthrough! When I tell you I genuinely almost cried multiple times during the wedding dlc oh my lord. I just really love this game it gives me so many feels. Best money spent 💜
I love this game so much. I found it about a year ago, but I'm only leaving a comment now lmfao. This game will most likely stay as the best visual novel game I will ever play in my life. I cried when I finished the game, and I can't wait to slowly purchase the DLC's when I can- because I love this game so much!!! I'm so excited for the next game too! The character development is wonderful and really helps build the relationships between us/the main character and everyone else. I would like to know what happened to Shiloh, Jeremy, and Baxtor though...

i didn't get this on itch, i have it on gog, absolutely love it, clean and the ability to scroll back using the mouse wheel is a life saver when you missclick as much as i do (i have dysgraphia and dyspraxia, its a pain and i make do) but i wanna ask, since over time i do wanna support the devs, im just curious to know, if i subscribe to the patreon, do i get the dlc independently or from from the patreon itself?
(i ask cus between not being tech savvy at all and simply just not being familiar with how any of this works, im kinda a touch lost on what to do)

i love Baxter, but he seriously could NOT keep it in his pants the first time he appeared on-screen. like, some of the first things he did were grin flirtatiously, invite himself over to where the player and Cove were standing, and then flirt(?) with Cove. and then he said he wouldn't be opposed to FUCKING US?? like, sir, we just met and you're already dripping all over my driveway- please calm down. that being said, i'm thoroughly enamored with him and will probably buy his DLC when i can. i love the game, and i can't recommend it enough<33.

I bought both the Derek and the Baxter dlc's, and I intend to buy all of the other dlc's too because I always need more Cove in my life <3 If anyone is feeling unsure about buying any of the dlc's, please do! The content is amazing as expected and there's so much more story waiting for you, not only with Cove but with other characters we didn't get to see a lot of in the main game!
This game... Where to start?? It made me cry more than once, both tears of joy and of sadness lol. I especially enjoyed the ways in which we interacted with our family and friends. Growing up with Cove and my sister, getting to know Cove's mom and dad, getting up to crazy shenanigans with our friends, all of it was and is enjoyable for me. Paired with the beautiful art and the different routes you can take in developing your relationship with Cove, it's an AMAZING game. One of my most favorite visual novels out there currently.

This is one of the best games I ever played. But now I'm having a problem, the game keeps closing when I try to play it. I played Our Life Now and Forever and everything was okay but with Our Life Beginings and Always I'm having this problem. Maybe it could just be my phone that can't run the game or something like that. I really love this game, I wish I could play it soon.
I know im late but if you still have the problem maybe try deleting jt and re-downloading it? Or just re-download it without deleting, it could be because of an update or something that you need to re-download it? I think i remember it happening to me and all i did was re-download it.
This game is wonderful. I bought all the dlc, besides the side romances, and i just never wanted it to end. Cove is such a well written and heartfelt character with so much depth, aswell as everyone one else. I fear this game has set my bar to high in regards to romance lol. Legit have no desire to get married irl, but still bought the dlc anyway for this man *sob*.
What I really enjoyed was the flexibility in gender, being able to transition as the story progressed. Those few moments of shared insecurity followed by reassurance was really touching.
Iwas shocked by how emotional i got throughout, which honestly has been really healing since ive feel disconnected from my emotions lately. Ngl, the credits song is something I probably wouldn't enjoy in any other context, but it still manages to make me choked up due to the sheer association of me knowing that the game is coming to a close. *sigh* But I'm excited to play around with more and explore the different sides of the main character.
This Visual novel gave me one of the best feelings ever. First, the way I got to create my character, their personalities, and make choices about them during the time skips made my imagination run wild. Secondly, I always hated exposition in visual novels, but this game made me see exposition a different way, causing me to always imagine the moments. Also I can't forget to include the quirky and memorable characters in the game and the choices you make to impact the relationship with them. As I played from start to finish it was like I was on a journey with these characters, and it felt sad to part ways in the end. Lastly, even though the music was repetitive I loved every bit of it.
This game is so amazing dude. The depth and attention that goes into everything is super noticeable, and it always leaves me in a happy mood.
I have a question about the Android version though. On PC, scrolling the mouse wheel back lets you easily go back and try different choices, or read dialogue you missed. Is there an equivalent to this on the Android version? It's so convenient.

If you're on Android, the device saying it has a bug isn't correct. The problem is that the device doesn't have enough space, or the virus scanner is blocking it, or the settings don't allow you to download games not from the Googleplay store. Saying there's a bug is a generic explanation but not actually something we can fix on our end.
hi ^^ I'm having a similar issue on my galaxy tab a7 lite. How much space does it require? My anti-virus is disabled, I've given perms to download unknown apps and it's installed but it crashes every time I hit new game, even when I turn off animations. I have 4.9 GB of storage and 1.1 GB of memory (have upped it to 3 GB and it still crashes), do I need to clear more space or do you think there's another issue with my device?
(Ps, still LOVE this game, on my pc I've replayed it more times than I can count. Definitely an 11/10, it'd just be nice if you guys had any input on if I can get it working on my tablet! If not, that's totally fine!)
If you can actually install it and it won't run than the phone just might not be able to handle the game, especially if it crashes instantly. If you can open the main menu you can try turning off animations on the settings screen. More space could help, but there might not be anything that can be done about that, unfortunately.

Is there any kind of video instruction on how to install the DLCs on Mac? I can't seem to figure out how to do it and I've tried everything

Yeah, the bonus moments are separate builds from the main game. You don't add them to your main our life folder.
